We were very pleasantly surprised to find this place, best value for money in such touristy city as Barcelona. Excellent location close to la Rambla, designer rooms, pleasant staff, rooftop pool and breakfasts at the level of the best hotel chains. No doubts to where we will return

Thiefs!

Pathetic, i was extremely dissapointed when theairport staff advised that this hotel staff is known for theifs. The hotel is beautiful, i didnt think anything of it until it happened to me. All it takes in 1 hour, and your travel money is gone. wouldnt recommend 0/10. i have footage of the staff who went and cleaned my room and the hotel is taking no accountability. terrible cstomer service. It left a bad taste in my mouth not only for The Corner Hotel but also Barcelona. Scary!

Dear Client,

Honestly, in my opinion, what you are doing with the publication of this opinion on TripAdvisor is a very serious accusation.

I can understand your discomfort but I find it curious that, according to you, the airport staff informs you that we are thieves...? Who and with what criteria...?

Please, you can read the different comments on different opinion websites about our Hotel and I guarantee that our job is not to steal from our clients, we like to provide service and ensure that clients leave satisfied with their stay.

Please, if you believe that we stole from you during your stay, you should go to the police station to file a report so that they can open the case and analyze what happened.

In any case I am sorry that your stay was not to your liking.

Not worth it

Not really welcoming hotel staff. Not smiling nor engaging at both check in and check out. Cleaning staff banging furniture and moving things early morning not being considerate for people sleeping. This is a 4 starts hotel supposedly. Cleanliness average in common areas and room too. Apart from the location which was convenient I would not recommend nor consider re booking. I believe you should start with a Meet and Greet your customer training for all - remembering what Hospitality is all about. I decided to leave early (11.00 am) while my plane was at 2:30 pm as I didn't feel welcome and had no peace in the morning. There you go. No one to assist with luggage in or out. Asked for Taxi and was kindly told they are in front of the hotel, was nice indeed though could have had a bit of help with my luggage. But not at all. Really not impressed!

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing experience at the hotel. The issues you mentioned, from unwelcoming staff to cleanliness concerns and disruptions by the cleaning staff, are certainly not reflective of the standard one would expect from a 4-star hotel.

Hospitality is indeed a crucial aspect of the guest experience, and it's disappointing to hear that you didn't feel welcomed or well taken care of during your stay.

The lack of assistance with your luggage and the early morning noise disturbances from the cleaning staff are valid concerns. Guests should be able to enjoy a peaceful stay without unnecessary disruptions.

Excellent

Excellent place to stay whilst in Barcelona, I’d rate location 8/10 as you need to walk a little to get to the very centre, the rest- room, sleep, breakfast, aesthetics are all 10/10. Thank you, we shall be back.

Fabulous ❤️

Cannot fault this fabulous hotel, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Really friendly and helpful man on reception ( apologies for not getting his name) who advised us on places to visit. We had a corner room which was gorgeous, everything you need and comfy bed. Powerful shower/wet room ( water everywhere!!) always spotlessly clean. The breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choice, freshly squeezed orange, cava, choices of coffee and tea, hot and cold food… wonderful!! Relaxing roof top terrace with small pool, lovely to sit with a G&T.
Loved Barcelona, the hotel made it for us, thank you !!

The friendly and helpful receptionist who provided you with advice on places to visit certainly added to the positive impression. The corner room you stayed in sounds lovely, and it's great to know that it had all the necessary amenities and a comfortable bed.

The powerful shower, while perhaps a bit wet, was a bonus, and the consistent cleanliness of the room is important for guest comfort.

The delicious and varied breakfast, including fresh orange juice, cava, coffee, and tea, is a great start to the day.

The rooftop terrace with a small pool seems like a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a drink, enhancing your overall experience.

Quality hotel with amazing decor

Very good location close to local transport, shopping and for visiting the city. Friendly and helping staff and the thought and layout of the hotel is excellent. Would recommend a stay here and would return
