I really like this property, it was clean and updated. Also near a ton of restaurants and shops. I enjoyed going up to the terrace for a drink and some sun. Overall it's a quiet friendly place to say.

Review of The Corner Hotel

I stayed here for one night when I arrived in Spain. The hotel was well-located near the gay stuff and tourist sites like Sagrada Familia and La Rambla. The rooms were spotless. And, even though the room faced the street, it was super quiet.
When I was leaving I mentioned I might want to come back after my cruise Noelia gave me her card and said to email her directly. When I returned two weeks later, it was like I was an old friend. No need for passport details--they already had them--and Noelia put me in a slightly larger corner room, remembered my preferred room temperature and made sure the air conditioner was suitably programmed. She is a rock star. (And, her co-worker Gerard is as sweet as he is dreamy.)
When I returned it was in the middle of a major heat wave, so the spotless rooftop pool and bar--open till 10-- was a perfect afternoon retreat after a morning of site seeing.
I am not sure when I will return to Barcelona, but when I do I know where I will stay.

We spend 6 days and the staff, location and rooms were fantastic.
I suggest a gym would be great for some customers.
An option to have access to the bar in the lobby area would be great also, instead to have to go up to the terrace pool bar for a soda, beer, or just a cup of coffee... at least in the summer season.

The room and the hotel was as expected based on the ratings and photos. The room was smallish but enough, very nice odor everywhere! We had issues with the shower drain, it was partly blocked and caused a small flood in the room in the first morning. We reported it, but they didn't get it right. We managed the rest of our stay by being careful with the shower and taking a look at the water level before opening the shower door. This should not happen in a good hotel! Otherwise, no complaints. We liked the breakfast and the variety of foods there. The pool are is small and pretty. Traffic noise could be heard but didn't bother, even the windows were facing the street.

Very comfortable beds and rooms have everything you need for comfort, especially loved the inbuilt speakers for music, Great touch. Nice breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff! Also well located.

Great hotel in Eixample district, not much to complain about. Rooms against backyard is totally quiet, Aircon is as well silent. In std room it’s limited to 24*C, but not a problem. Rooms towards street on lower floors can hear some noise, we had room on 2nd floor, but we slept well.
I can only recommend this hotel, one of the best in Barcelona. Only problem would be distance to metro, but If your fine with Taxis book this, 5-10 min ride to anything worth seeing since it’s in the middle. Walking distance to best food district and shopping,
