Okay

Adequate for a couple of nights. A very hot few days but only one window opened and all of the blinds were broken.
The only chair looked dirty but I believe they allow dogs so that may be the cause.
Bed was comfortable

We rented a one bedroom cabin May 17 for 2 nights. We travelled with our 2 small dogs (both under 12 lbs) and were fully prepared to pay a pet room charge. What we weren’t prepared for was staying in a grubby, rundown cabin. Just because we have pets doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate “clean”. The sofa smelled like a wet dog and had clumps of dog hair on it, the chairs were dirty, the floor tiles were cracked and most of the window blinds were broken. Thank goodness they provide clean bedding and the bathroom had been cleaned. We normally read bad reviews and think that people need to have more tolerance but in this case we couldn’t stay silent. The operator only provides contactless check in and out - I’m guessing so that they don’t have to deal with guest complaints. Be prepared for bare minimum. You even have to remove all your own trash at the end of your stay - which we have never had to do at any other property. Not only did we pay full price for the rental like everyone else but an extra $20 per night, per dog for the privilege of staying there. They obviously take the cash but don’t use it to put towards maintenance or cleaning. Our advice is stay anywhere else.

Room tip: Bring covers to put on furniture if you want to sit on it.

We booked the 3 bedroom cottage for a family of 6 adults plus 2 dogs one medium size and one large size. We were all very happy with this accommodation, it was clean, well stocked and the floor plan was fantastic. It exceed our expectations, the master was so nice and big, the view was amazing. The only downfall was only two things, the 3rd bed on the main floor was uncomfortable you could feel the underneath wood slates that it was laying on through the mattress, it could of used a nice thick mattress topper for sure. Also the kitchen counter top were plywood. That is only two negative things. Check in and Check out was so easy no contact just by text. We will be coming back for sure hands down,

We stayed in unit #26 and it was great. The unit is suited for a couple or a group of 4. Central to the town of Ucluelet. You can walk to a number of sites or drive. It is quiet at night and gets sun in the day. Will be back.

We weren’t fully prepared for this stay…if you are going to cook your meals, they provide basic utensils and no condiments whatsoever. We had to buy salt, pepper and oil at the local CO-OP. We expected our stay to be clean, it was only surface cleaned. Under the bed, couch and coffee table was thick with dust, found pistachio shells, tissue and cobwebs. My husband refused to cook on the BBQ as it was dirty. The jets in the tub was brown so I did not attempt any baths, just showers. We brought our own coffee press because most places don’t think to clean the machines. It was a nice touch that they provided a towel and dog bowl for our dog. If you want quiet, bring earplugs because the hotubs are a bit noisy. We were surprised that we had to sweep the floors, empty garbage and dishes before we left (which we did) don’t get me wrong it is a lovely place to stay and we were not prepared. Communication via text is pointless, they never answered my text. Best to talk to staff in person. Would i recommend? yes, come prepared.
and CHECK OUT TIME IS 10am earlier than standard time

The cottage had some nice touches like nicely scented body wash soap and shampoo but overall we were disillusioned with our cottage. The place needs some upkeep. There was mold in the tiles of the tub and the place could do with a fresh coat of paint for the walls and the trim. The one armchair was dirty and the place an unpleasant smell which was very evident upon entry. Also the the person in the office was quite abrasive…
I would give this place a two star… not a dive but not fantastic either.
Ucluelet is beautiful but on our next trip we would stay elsewhere.
