Dated decor. Room comfortable. Balcony has view of sea but better if there was not a ratty word shed below. Staff fine. Overall a shame as views great but needs an update. We stayed on route to port hardy and it was ok as an overnight stop. Would not recommend for a longer stay

We came to Campbell River for an overnight stay while we were house hunting.
I found this hotel online and the price was right.
We were very pleasantly surprised! Although the hotel is older and a little dated it is very clean with excellent service. Every room has a small balcony.
We had dinner in the restaurant and the baby back ribs are amazing! Also a breakfast was included. I had the bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast and my hubby had the pancakes. And coffee or tea was included. A full breakfast that was delicious.
If you are looking for a fancy Fairmont type of hotel this won’t be for you. If you want a clean, friendly place to lay your head at night I would highly recommend it.

Great location and friendly staff Breakfast was take out either due to holiday or weather (very snowy day) was looking forward to the buffet but the food was still good even though we took it to our room

we arrived fairly late evening, was told they have 24 h service. staff were very accommodating and friendly. we found the bed very comfortable, lots of pillows, clean rooms. you could pay 2 to 3 x as much for a room and not have any better experience. cold mini-fridge, AC worked well. beautiful ocean view. front desk Laura was super helpful, all housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly, April went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and was super friendly. the server in the restaurant was incredibly attentive, and the free breakfast as good as any. lots of parking. good sized deck. quiet.

Old property but super comfortable stay. The rooms are huge and all of them overlook the ocean. The breakfast spread was amazing too unlike so many hotels these days. If you are planning to go to Campbell River, this is highly recommended. The staff was pretty friendly aswell.
