We booked well ahead but weren't told we would be on the street side. Apparently they had a 3 week retreat booked. The street side is the main highway into Campbell River. That means that in the heat you cannot open a window without hearing the roar of vehicles all night. The aesthetic is monastic minimalist which seems to fit their current focus as a wellness retreat centre. Again, not what we were told or expecting. You need to get in a car to get breakfast which is a shame. It does have a nice view if you get to see it.

We stayed for one night. The view was beautiful. We walked along the beach. The room and the hotel were extremely clean. The bathroom was spotless. The price was very reasonable. No air conditioning during hot weather though meant the room was stuffy. The fan was a nice touch, but I would recommend that they get air conditioning. I would stay here again (on a less hot day).

What a beautiful resort on a walk out beach. There are seats and loungers provided to enjoy the beach and the view. There is a campfire that goes on in the evening.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The toiletries are very nice with essential oil fragrances. There is also a mini fridge.
The rooms with a view also have your own private deck.
The property is perfectly manicured and well run. The staff was so helpful. The new owner has only been there for a few weeks and was very welcoming. Everything was run very smoothly.
Also!!! Great value for such a beautiful property.
