Stayed here for a week at the end of Aug to allow us to do local day trips and take in the large food/drink scene in town. It is one of the few with available parking but that can still be a problem especially later in the day. We had a harbour view room. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable (pillows not so much) Be aware that due to the harbour being a busy spot, the work noises will start early in the day. The air con unit is a wall mount that can be too noisy to sleep with. The employees are great.

This property offered a clean room, extraordinary view of the harbour, and a good good price. We found the bar/dining room to be a bit mediocre, but there are dozens of other options nearby. St. John’s has more pubs per capital than any other place I’ve been.

We are locals who sometimes have a weekend in St. John's and this is one of our go-to hotels. The staff is very professional, friendly and hospitable. Our room was clean and comfortable. The room was not ready for check in at the 3pm time but given the shortage of staff that seems to be prevalent everywhere, the additional 40 minutes was acceptable. We had a harbour view room and the is a bit of street noise but keeping the AC fan on prevented it from interfering with sleep. Overall, the hotel is very quiet. We did not hear any of the other guests. There is an onsite bar which has limited hours of operation. This hotel is outside the night-life area of St. John's but easy walk (less than 1km) to the popular bars and restaurants. Parking is in an open lot across the street. Arrive early to ensure you have a spot.
