Based on our needs the location was perfected as it allowed us to get to other activities avoiding major traffic.. It was disappointing that there was no more full operating restaurant, lounge and bowling.
Room was very clean, yes quiet
What we liked was the price it made it affordable for us to travel

The main part of the room was fine. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom floor had broken and missing grout that looked dirty and there was a big hole in the wall. This really turned us off. We were just there for the night as we travelled to Ontario

Stayed 4 nights, room was very nice. Good value and clean. Comfy. Staff that we interacted with were nice. Free breakfast was decent (don't expect bacon LoL)

Pool area very loud on weekends, pool closes at 11pm, expect to hear kids screaming until then (the sound carries into the hallways) *Saturday night was extremely loud with kids screaming and slamming doors until 11pm

Housekeeping came 2 days into our stay, nice job but forgot toilet paper, coffee & creamer. They didn't return until we requested service the day before we checked out. No toilet paper again and perfume missing from bathroom vanity! I guess I should of known better than to leave it out but really!? Where is the trust...and did they think I just would not notice!?

Mentioned it to clerk at check out, unfortunately she didn't seem very concerned, her response was "maybe we will find it" (to her defence, what can she do about it at that point, but she never mentioned passing it along to management) So here is my review....attention management

*I am glad we never left our electronics in room, I suggest you do the same.

Word to the wise, don't leave personal items out

Ear plugs may be handy

Will I go back, maybe

Will I lock my stuff up, definately

Hello,
Our staff have been with us many years. We have not had any issues with missing articles. We take this very seriously that you feel our staff is not trustworthy. I will definitely be speaking with our housekeeping manager to discuss this matter.

The property and the rooms were clean. The room was a good size, older decor but well maintained, very clean with a comfy bed and pillows. The staff were all nice and parking was included.
Great value

We booked a reservation and arrived at 2am coming in off a late flight. We rang the door bell 5 times and finally a staff member came out to the front desk looking at his cell phone turned around and walked back into the back. So I rang the bell 2 more times and ended up banging on the door. I was asked why I didn’t ring the door bell, I informed the staff member that I did. We asked for a late check out and we were told we would have to ask in the morning when the manager was there which defeats the purpose of a late checkout. We were then told there was no elevator and our room was on the second floor, we had a baby, stroller and 3 suitcases. We asked if there was anything at all available on the first floor and were told no.
We hauled everything up to the room, through the dirty hallways with broken drywall and ripped carpet. We got to the room and the keys didn’t work. Husband ran down and got that fixed. We walked into the room and immediately began sweating. Couldn’t find a thermostat so called down to the front desk for help. Employee came up and couldn’t find it either. Said he would try and figure something out and would be right back. I used the toilet and the base of the toilet was loose from the floor making the toilet unstable and shaky. The employee came back up and said he could upgrade us to a king suite, on the first floor and just to leave our luggage in this room on the second floor and to go and sleep. At this point we chose to leave and drive home 2.5 hours at 2:30 in the morning rather than stay at your hotel. Our experience was awful, the hotel was dirty and run down, we were lied to when we asked if we could get a room on the first floor and the staff member working the midnight shift wasn’t allowed to offer late check out. All in all we were very unimpressed with you facilities and will not look to Travelodge for our future stays while traveling.

Well as per usual any hotel 3 yrs and older you know the sink & tub never drain. It’s not that they can’t or won’t but management/manager doesn’t have the training skills themselves to show or explain to staff how to address this on their daily room prep.
Much like oiling the door hinges and setting soft/slow door closure aids it’s an unknown art maintaining these extremely intricate parts of a door.
Especially hallway doors that early risers don’t realize(why I have no idea) when they let them go they go at will and slam as desired.
AC/Htr unit in the room was loud enough that it’s more beneficial to either sleep cold or hot or hope the temp is what you like 70-72F. This is another common issue along with they are never cleaned from original install date. (Another manager deficiency)
Breakfast was base with no frills but will get you in the road.
Staff were very polite and friendly.

Parking was Well lit.
Patrons don’t have much of a clue on parking or how not to but this is not an issue of the hotel just the unthoughtful minds of travellers, sad but it happens a lot. In this case the handicap guest shouldn’t drive as they took up 2 spots. 8 spots down another mindless individual did the same thing.
All this wouldn’t matter but when a hotel has a full parking lot it’s important for late gauests to park as well. People are getting worse not better in common courtesy.
Toilet runs continuously. Water waste!!

Bed was awesome. Room was clean. No unhappy smells in room.

Remedy to almost all of these issues is MANAGEMENT as the staff are directed by managers or should be.
Yes we will stay again.
To point this out is not from unhappiness but rather from being disappoint that the Travel Lodge isn’t at its potential which would make it a 5 ⭐️ for its price.
Maybe management will reach out for advice to enhance this establishment. It would be an idea.
