Came for hockey showcase. Great reception and quick service. Big room, great counter space where microwave is sitting and nice long table. Good counter space also in bathroom. The best part was that the hotel is attached to the arena so no going outside. Kids can go on their own earlier and parents can go later for game. No driving involved. Close to lots of restaurants.
Hotel rooms were spacious & clean. My only complaint was that the shower had no pressure. They could definitely use automatic doors at their entrance as well. This place hosts lots of hockey tournaments and lots of big bags, luggage going through those doors.
Our room was basic but clean - no real complaints. We got what we paid for and our son really loved the pool and water slide. My one complaint - the ice makers don’t work. I visited 5 floors and barely found enough ice for one cold drink. Apart from that, we had a good stay and the staff were friendly and helpful (the visit to check on a non-functional lamp was quick and successful!).
I stayed here for four nights for work. It's a great place to stay, very close to restaurants and shopping. There are a lot of great restaurants and shops just on 18th street, so its super convenient. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. Great service, good food.

Rooms are clean and modern, but the problem is security! There is none! Homeless walk in off the streets and make themselves at home, sit on the luggage carts and use the free wifi and washrooms. Smoking at the lobby entrance, cigarette butts everywhere. They need a front door security person to stop unwanted from entering. This place has gone severely downhill in the last few years. Won't be back.
