This was our first experience eating Portugese food and we were immediately impressed! The seafood stew style rice was amazing, packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. Loved the clams dish as well. The restaurant was accommodating to us when we came in at 4.30pm for an early dinner and all dishes came out fabulous. Wonderful service, wonderful food! I would definitely come back here when I'm in Barcelona!

We were worried that a restaurant so close to the Sagrada Família would be an over-priced tourist trap. So wrong! Exceptional food at a very good price. We particularly enjoyed the 'battered cod' and Pulpo cerviche (if I recall, cold octopus dish). But the real jewel was a dish with potatoes, onion and cod all shredded into a neat mound. (I really hope the owners of this restaurant can respond with the dishes actual name) The waiters were really friendly and accommodated our lack of reservation. They were great with our nearly five year old too.

I visited this restaurant with my husband, son and his Portuguese girlfriend. The food was excellent lots of lovely seafood it was also very well priced. I had a pork dish when it came it was slightly rare for me they took it back and cooked it some more with no complaints .My husband had a sardine dish which he said was terrific. We had some lovely deserts .I am sure we will return ,

I am Portuguese and more precisely from Porto so I have to say that I am extremely impressed with the quality and especially the authenticity of the Portuguese food found at Oporto. We had The bifana and mussels for starters. Both highly recommended and done to perfection, just like I remember it to be. I had also the francesinha for mains which is an absolute classic and I have to say it’s one of the best francesinhas I ever had, including all the ones I had growing up. Hats off to the chef and staff, excellent service and excellent, traditional Portuguese food. Thank you for the experience and will undoubtedly be back!

Small, intimate spot for some great Portuguese cuisine. We had the mushrooms with bacon and garlic as an appetizer - it was great. We also had grilled octopus and the fried cod with the chickpea puree (basically on a bed of hummus). Both were outstanding. The Portuguese wine was very pleasantly good, and the attentive waitstaff brought us a lovely port as a dessert appertif. Being in the shadow of the Sagrada Familia, you can't beat the atmosphere and vibe. Highly recommend.

Great service. Menu good but not overly creative. Everything comes with fries which might be required as this is so close to sagrada familia. Prawns with garlic apply really good and the veal steak was huge and cooked perfectly. Best thing was the wine. Duas Quintas Ramos Pinto from Douro. So yum.

I just had dinner today at this restaurant with my family and was amazed by the flavors and quality of the food. We had the salomillo with fries and that meat was cooked to perfection. Our waiter was very caring and professional. We are planing to come back this week while in Barcelona😀

I had lunch at the Oporto restaurant, Barcelona, in May 2023. I was accompanied by my wife. Despite not having booked a table and the restaurant being very full, the owner quickly found a table that could accommodate us. The restaurant practices cuisine from the north of Portugal and has a large and well-chosen wine list from that region. We tasted several starters and then two different, extremely tasty cod dishes. The cuisine is excellent and prices are moderate. The reception was very friendly. Strongly recommended.

Before visiting this restaurant I read a lot of reviews saying that the foods that are served here are very very tasty. And they really were. We ordered the octopus in with green herbs, the clams and the pork in special sauce. All of them were very very tasty. A tip, do order some bread with your food as you can easily dip the breads in all those sauces and enjoy them. Highly recommended if you are near the Sagrada Familia area.

I had a nice lunch here with a friend. The food was good, the staff was firndly but it doen not get 5 stars as it was nothing special. For starters we tried the salmon tartare, which was tasty but the texture was a bit too much like a salad and for second i had Braga style codfish, also fresh, good, but without anything special. I would return to eat fish.

It's not so often that a Portuguese person leaves Portugal on holiday and then goes to a Portuguese restaurant but this time I had to make an exception... and it was really worth it! The food is of incredible quality and taste and together with the warmth and friendliness of the staff everything takes us back to what we are well used to in Portugal. Now it's time to go back!!!

A group of 5 friends visited this restaurant.. we made a booking by phone. It was conveyo the apartment that we were staying in and is very close to Sagrada Familia. We had king prawns and a cheese and tomato starter. The king prawns were fabulous. Our mains included sea bass, land and sea on a skewer and pork tenderloin. All were cooked to perfection .. we were so full that we could not look at the desert menu. Service was excellent. When we arrived at the restaurant at 8.30pm it was quiet but was soon bustling and very full. We were given a lovely port on the house to finish a beautiful meal.

The quick notes - clean, friendly, small restaurant not far from Sagrada Familia. Menu offers lots of options. We arrived at 8pm when the place was just opening back up. By 9pm it was 100% full. We opted to eat family style. We started out with a tomato and cheese salad and pica pau. Both were excellent. For a main, we went will be mixed grilled. It contains a mix of beef, pork, and sausage. Was quite good! When it was time for dessert, we opted for Baba de Camelo - akin to a caramel mousse. Service was great and the food was very good. N*joy!

My husband and I came here after our tour from Sagrada Familia. We walked in without reservations, but the gentleman still took us time, and we're so glad we're able to get in. Everything was amazing, drinks, appetizers, and main course. The dessert, pineapple port wine, homemade biscuit cake. I would highly recommend this place, but try to make reservations before going.Oh our waiter was really nice and attentive.

Highly recommend. In my opinion Oporto restaurant was a 20 out of 10. We were a group of ten and they made it accommodating to our large group. The food was superb, the staff very friendly, our waitress was amazing. It was so good that I returned a 2nd time and it was nothing short of amazing.
