I recently came to CETT´s Restaurant for a Friday lunch and was incredibly impressed by not only the food, but the professionalism of the service. I love the idea of practice restaurants for young, hospitality professionals and CETT might be the best example of this I´ve experienced.
We chose the tasting menu with wine pairings, and my wife´s seafood allergy was navigated without issue. The food itself is very good; generous portions of well executed food with touches of innovation here and there, but mostly focused around good quality ingredients with a very Mediterranean feel. If you´re coming here looking for a Michelin starred chef trying to impress; you´re in the wrong place. The take on beef carpaccio with a blue-cheese mousse and capers was excellent, and something I would have ordered by itself for over half the cost of the entire menu! The wine pairings were modest but very well chosen to suit the dishes, which is really the entire point.
The value of eating here is quite incredible. A 6 Course tasting menu with constant refills of water, wine pairings, fresh bread and coffee comes to €32 a head; tips are unfortunately not allowed, as much as I would have liked to thank the young waiters and waitresses, who did a sterling job throughout. You could easily spend 5-6x as much for a worse meal in some restaurants.
We will be back. Regularly. Thank you to everyone at CETT, particularly our young waiter Robert and the sharply dressed Maitre´d (my apologies - I´ve forgotten your name entirely!).

We had an incredible experience at this teaching restaurant. There are two tasting menus for €30 each or a la carte. We chose one of each of the menus and therefore had the opportunity to try 10 different dishes. All were superb, Michelin quality. For an extra €5 we had a wine pairing with the 5 courses. A peachy white, a fruity rosé, a light red followed by one more robust. And to finish a delicious pink cava to go with the desert.
The students are polite and helpful, and even explained and described the menu and wines in English for us.
Not to be missed.

Oh my where do we start, firstly this is a training restaurant part of CETT which is a hospitality and training school, having frequented a great one in Australia, we have no hesitation trying Aula in Barcelona. But it��s miles ahead in gastronomy with an amazing degustation menu of the highest quality and presentation for a very reasonable price. Upon arrival we had a yuzu inspired cocktail. We also did the very reasonable wine pairing. The meal was superb, you could not fault it. It’s Michelin star chefs in the making. Makes our training restaurant here seem quite ordinary which it is not but, this in Barcelona is high class food. We were warmly greeted and taken to a table, the restaurant was quiet but we were never ignored. Our first waiter could not speak English comfortably but he might well have felt shy, a fellow student did speak a little English, and it worked out fine, a kind senior lecturer also helped to navigate our way through the menu as we can’t read Spanish, helping the student explain each course. We tried food combinations that would never be on a plate here. It was a journey for both taste and sight. To say we felt coming here was worth it, yes 10 out of 10. Yes it’s a little out of the way but very easy on public transport either by bus and/or by train (there’s a train station just opposite the building) and not too far away from downtown. If you want an amazing meal and enjoying going off the beaten path, then look this place up and go. It’s so worth it. By the way the best time to book is when the Spanish eat around 3pm. The dining area is with well spaced tables and a sunny yellow, Everything is well cooked, lots of little bursts of flavor that in the end will send send you on your way happy and full but not so much that your left uncomfortable. It’s really great. Come with an open mind, most courses were to our tastes with the odd one being not so much but honestly for what it is its amazing food with students and teachers that want you to enjoy yourself.

I ordered the degustation (taster) menu which comes with selected wines and cava. Each one of the many dishes was beautifully presented and prepared. The students are very attentive and charming. I will definitely go back again.
A side note: it is out of the tourist centre but is a only a few steps away from a metro stop and is very easy to get to.

A really lovely experience, I opted for one of the set menus. The food was excellent as well as the wine flight. Our waitress Georgina explained all the dishes in detail and gave us amazing service especially considering English isn’t her first language. I would definitely return.

Where to start. The service was impeccable. It started with Santiago providing careful, professional service at every part of the meal. Any place he works at will be very lucky to have such a professional. The two young men who manage the wine also did a great job - the wine selection and service were exceptional.
The food was so well prepared and presented that one almost wishes that we were wearing better clothes. We spoke quietly out of respect for the vibe that the staff helps create. That was the quickest 2+ hour lunch I have ever had. For me the standouts were the smoked scallop dish, the beef tartare and the dessert. Everything was so very good.

We went as a couple for the Christmas menu and we were really surprised. The food was well presented, tasty and the service was impeccable! In terms of quality & price, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The students can be really proud of their work, we truly had a great time!

I cannot judge this restaurant as a normal restaurant, this place is where we can observe the quarry that will provide the sector with future professionals in the sector: cooks, waiters, waiters......and it really is something to rest assured. Because they show you that they are preparing well (the average degree is three years) and they go through the living room and the kitchen, the treatment is pleasant and professional, thank them for the service and the treatment received.
Within its possibilities we chose to eat à la carte and had 2 of Eggs with peas, botifarra and cansalada, 1 of LLom de rap rostit, 1 of Guisat de vedella for dessert, 2 Trencanous, to drink 4 glasses of Conca de Barbera Wine Josep Foraster 16 .-Euros.
TOTAL: 72.- Euros.
Highly recommended.
