I've been there with some friends in November, as it was really close to our hotel. We oredered tapas, fried calamari, fried peppers and baby squids,as well as a traditional spanish platters with chorizo, queso and fuet. Everything was delicious and the waiter was very friendly.

After and hour roaming and taking photos around at Poble Espanyol we decided to have a light lunch, and spotted this Tapas restaurant and we we're seated outside seating, and greeted by a friendly staff, and ordered a Tuna pizza and a lasagne, with beer and coffee.. Me and my hubby enjoyed our own dishes, so far so good 😊👍🏻We had a lovely lunch I could say'😊

We visted the Poble Espanyol and enjoyed a very nice lunch here. They had a great selection of Tapas which we really enjoyed with a few cool drinks. The staff were very helpful and the service was very quick.

We ordered a few tapas, pizza, the food here is not fresh at all, don’t understand the good reviews on the food. Service is ok although the waiter blow a fly off my partner coffee and placed it down expecting her to drink it!

Came in after seeing Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence but the true is that quality is very average and the ratio quality-price is very bad. Small, quick tapas. All-i-oli from industrial pot, etc. Trap for tourists (we are Spanish, we think we know what good tapas are ;-)

In order you have to eat here you have to first pay to get into the Poble Espanyol. The Sunday we were there, the place was not very crowded and not worth the price of admission. The service at this restaurant is excellent. However, since there were the same pictures of food there we saw at most of the other restaurants there we should have known not to expect much. The food was tasty at best. Nothing to brag about. For four people, with no alcohol, the bill was still $73.90. If you are hungry and are here, it's not a bad place to eat. However, my suggestion would be to eat before you enter Poble Espanyol.

Great place to eat when you go to check out the Spanish town (Pueblo Español). The tapas were delicious, the attention was good and the place looked nice. I recommend the ‘gambas a la diabla’ (shrimps with manchego cheese gratin on a mildly hot sauce), Spanish tortilla, chicken wings and croquettes. The ‘pimientos rellenos’ were also nice, if you want to try typical things (instead of chicken wings and things you probably already know). I recommend this place very much

Felt a tad conned here! Massive sign outside saying "Trip Advisor Recommended". Took it on trust. Became suspicious when Paella looked nothing like picture on menu. 1 shellfish...1 mussel...etc. Checked Trip Advisor...revealed truth. It was expensive and ok-ish quality but far, far better options all over the village. PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

We actually booked here just to kill time. Our intention is to see Magic Fountain which showtime is at 9.30PM. We ordered only 5 tapas and Sangria to share, however, the bill came at €100 with 30% discount already applied. So I think the discount is just a marketing scheme. Way too overpriced but we do not have any problems with the food. No need to pay the entrance fee for Poble Espanyol, if you have a reservation here.

Worst tapas ever for what u pay. Tapas is not cooked properly and mostly fried/reheated. Octopus also had no taste, asked for red pepper seasoning and there was none available. Seems like this place lacks seasoning in the kitchen. Absolutely not recommended. I can cook better at home.

When in Barcelona, go to any of their outlets. The food is served fast, the service is fun and good. They have daily tapas specials and there are discount coupons in the tourist books that are handed out to tourists. They serve a pink mojito that I didn't get the recipe for and can't seem to duplicate it here in Canada.

After walking around Poble Espanyol, I went to Tapes Tapas for an early dinner. I was the only diner at that time. I ordered the seafood paella. It was good and the service was friendly. Total price of the paella with a glass of pineapple juice was 15 Euros. I paid by credit card.

Stopped in Tapes while visiting Poble Espanyol with my wife. Steak and fries and Veal and fries were tasty and of sufficient quantity. Ice cold beer hit the spot also. Surprised to see comments that staff don’t speak English. Both the hostess and the waiter spoke fluently to us in English, and then moved to the next family and moved seamlessly into fluent French! Where in the UK, at a similar themed attraction, would that happen. Recommended
