We treated ourselves to a meal at Bodega Amposta on our last night in Spain and what a treat it was. The food is great quality and freshly prepared and the staff working here have excellent customer service. We opted for the Amposta Menu which is €32.50 per person and we had plenty of everything. Make sure you are hungry when going here as the portions are generous. This is proper Spanish food - do not expect to see burgers and chips on the menu! If we're staying in this area again we will definitely be back for more.

Honestly, one of the best restaurants in Barcelona. Typical Spanish food, with a lot of passion and creativity. The place itself is very nice, clean, modern and rustic. The service (we notably had a very knowledgeable waiter Gabriel, but the all staff), was amazing. So nice to have nice people really taking care of your needs and preferences. The food is really subtle and creative (artichokes with Foie are to die for, as well as the "chicharons" (pork rinds). We had a wonderful time and it pleases me very much to share this experience with my followers

Bodega Amposta deserves high ratings for both food and service! My family had the pleasure of dining there last night. Our superb waitress guided us through wine and menu selection. Every suggestion was a winner! The mushroom and foie gras, the eggplant and the pork belly were outstanding! The courses were well paced and made for a relaxed evening. Did I mention that the prices were reasonable? Don’t miss your opportunity for an authentic Catalan dinner featuring great service and notable tapas.

This was located near our hotel, so a colleague and I gave it a try for our last evening in Barcelona, and it was the perfect choice. A great variety of tapas and drinks, and a very warm, lively atmosphere. We were seated on the second floor near a window, so we had a great view of the street and the main-level dining area, which made for nice entertainment and conversation. The service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry, and the waiters were uniformly friendly.

A pleasant surprise. Nearby to Poble Espanyol there is this small but cute place for food. Interesting dishes and flavors, tapas with local products in good prices. Nice beer. The stuff is willing to help with the menu. I loved the Bomba, the potatoes, and beef dishes.

What a find, excellent taps, friendly staff, called in on a Wednesday night and we enjoyed a few tapas and the best cheese cake we have ever had, we watch the chef cook lovely dishes from a tiny kitchen, just one tip if you are going at the weekend make a booking or you will never get a table.

In a quiet Montjuïc neighborhood, we stopped by here for supper last night and were treated to delicious tapas. We sat at the bar where we could watch the chef produce a stream of dishes and the bar tender to answer our silly questions only foreign tourists would ask! (And he was very kind!) The chef was kind also and came around to chat with us when he could. We went back for late lunch today but it was standing room only, so we gave up (we needed to sit down after a hike). It seems like a popular neighborhood gathering spot on Sunday afternoon. Last night was a memorable dining experience—so glad we found this place!

Very friendly, quick service and tasty tapas. I particularly liked the chicken cannaloni and the usual classics of patatas bravas and cod fish cakes were as good as any I've had elsewhere if not better.

We asked for a table upstairs, but this was not possible. It was really noisy - even the kids felt it was too much. The food was good but we were not impressed. The service was on top and the beer was REALLY good.

Our concierge recommended this tapas bar, which is a short walk from the Magic Fountain. As we approached, we encountered 6 young Barcelonan women celebrating a bachelorette party. Why would locals choose a tourist place for a hen party?! They wouldn’t!! That’s how local this was. The bartender, Joel (pronounced Jo-el), was terrific. He made us feel like a regular and gave us great tips.

A more local neighborhood type of restaurant and no English menu for sure so the best way to order is to save photos of the dishes for showing. If you like prawn. the cigrons ams carabineros is a must try.

There is a very good menu (17€) noon on weekdays. But the options for dinner are also very very good! BOOK IN ADVANCE!!! We all had the 25€menu and every dish was excellent. The selection of tapas& ingridients was really acurate and the combinations of flavours and tastes, also great. Excellent selection of wines, cavas and beers. A place to take in consideration in you are nearby. Price p/person was ~33€. And we all ended full and satisfied. We'll be back.

Just before watching the magical fountains, we looked for a place to have a meal, and found this newly opened place. It was busy, but they managed to find a table for us. Wonderful food, tapas, or menu with great looking steaks, freshly prepared. Friendly staff, who are very helpfull to assist with your choice of food and drinks.
The place is a typical local restaurant, with authentic food, the food is prepared fresh in front of your eyes in an open kitchen, well worth a visit!
