We're a family of 4 with kids aged 9 and 12, and were staying on the next street to this restaurant. Despite being in Spain, Italian food works well for us as a family as there is always something the kids, especially the youngest, will enjoy, so having checked the reviews this combination of food and location seemed perfect. I also read on another review that you could have "everything gluten free" which appealed as I am GF - I really think this restaurant could make more of that. The menu said to let them know if you had dietary requirements but didn't specifically mention they had GF options. I asked for a steak as that's usually a safe bet but was told they'd sold out so that was when I asked for help to choose something suitable and was told any pata or pizza was available gluten free - happy days! The lovely waitress suggested the pizza of the day, which was perfect, and also helped my husband and I choose a very good bottle of wine (we weren't sure whether to go Spanish or Italian). We shared starters - mozzarella and tomato salad and carpaccio of beef with parmesan and rocket; the kids each had pasta dishes and my husband and I had pizzas. The kids obviously wanted dessert, and as they didn't have what my daughter wanted they offered a chocolate cake with ice cream free of charge. Overall the food and service were excellent. Not the cheapest option (E110 for the 4 of us, 2 starters, 4 mains, 3 desserts, 2 apple juices and a bottle of good wine) but we were happy with the price:quality ratio and had a lovely evening. Would recommend making a trip here if you are gluten free.

Our group found this quaint restaurant in the neighborhood before we toured Basilica de las Sagrada Familia.. The staff quickly assembled a table to hold our group and our waiter spoke/understood English well. The menu was broad based Mediterranean with choices from small salads and plates to full meals to suit everyones tastes and hunger.

Very good location from Sagrada Familia. We came here to eat, starving after a visit to the Sagrada. The food was delicious and it's a nice small homely place. Good coffee and tiramisu. The people were really friendly, though the food can take some time to come as they look like they only have one person cooking! (Not confirmed)

I’m not sure if this place has lots of good reviews because it’s next to the Sagrada Família. We visited this place because of the reviews but I’d say it was just ok. Maybe I was expecting more because of the good reviews. Service was good but there was at least 3 things we asked for from the menu that they did not have available. Our lasagne appeared to be microwaved as slightly cold in the middle. Far from the worst place I’ve eaten but wouldn’t go back. If you’re in the area and fancy a meal it’s not bad, but don’t go out your way!

We had dinner here after dark, sitting outside and taking in the gorgeous view of La Sagrada Famila lit up at night, less than a block away. The service was warm and wonderful, the food was delicious and they brought us a small digestif limoncello and meloncello liqueur that was scrumptious. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

So good we went there twice! We had lunch here before a tour of the Sagrada Família and it was one of the best meals we had in Barcelona. If you can get a table out front you will have an amazing view of the SF and the service and food are outstanding. We enjoyed it so much we went back two days later. The Pizza Quattro Formaggi was delicious with one of the best crusts I've ever had (and I've eaten pizza all over the world). My husband had a daily special of seafood with spaghetti and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Even the bread they brought before the meal was amazing. The service was just as good as the food. I wish I'd gotten our waiter's name but he was a young Italian guy who was incredibly friendly and helpful, and a joy to talk to. He was happy to see us when we came back a couple days later. The staff there speak perfect English, Spanish, and Italian (and possibly others) and they have an English menu, but it's no tourist trap. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable.

I visited here last weekend with a friend. We sat outside and enjoyed the amazing view of La Sagrada Familia. We were served the most delicious bread with oil. I then had an amazing Four Cheese Pizza, one of the best pizza’s I have ever eaten. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly. We returned the next morning and sat outside for coffee, however it was very windy that day so we were invited inside to finish our coffee. The coffee was so good I ordered a second. I can’t wait to return to Barcelona to visit this restaurant again. It was definitely my favourite restaurant of the trip!

Felt parched and hungry after jostling with the hordes surrounding the Sagrada Familia, and this little biote looked calm, cool and cozy. We were shown to a small table in back, had some interactions with really friendly staff who guided us through the tapas menu, and chose cod croquets, eggplant baked in tomato sauce and cheese, mussels in breadcrumbs, and tortilla (frittata). Packed with patrons, tight for space, but the staff is attentive, friendly, unrushed and helpful. It feels like a happy family-run place. The eggplant dish was clearly the winner. Sweet tomato sauce, runny baked cheese. Yummy. It could easily have been hotter (may have been microwaved bc the dish was too hot to touch on the outside, but the food was tepid), but it really was tasty. The cod croquets were also terrific. Small little crunchy bites of intense flavour. The tortilla - very good - but also not hot. Tasty, regardless. The mussels were not for me. Too dry, no flavour, but we had a pleasant time there and again, the staff is engaging, smart, smiley and they go out of their way to make their customers happy. Overall, well done!

Tuskania in Barcelona is a culinary gem! The tagliatelle with mushrooms was a dreamy delight, and the daily dining experience was elevated by the warm and welcoming staff. Special shoutout to Marchello and Albina for making us feel truly special. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian flavours in the heart of Barcelona. Grazie mille, Tuskania! 🍝🇮🇹 #FoodieParadise #BarcelonaEats

Highly recommend eating here if in La Sagrada Familia Area. If you want to eat something good and local see the Sagrada family WHILE YOU EAT, have wonderful service, and Great food. Come here. The menu is a mix of Italian food, pizza/pasta but also with lots of Spanish tapas options. I personally am gluten free and this is easily the best gluten free options I have had in all of Spain. (Been here for a month so I was shocked) the prices were unbeatable for food, location, service. Marcel was the nicest you will love him. Please support and go here! You will love it.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for another and couldn’t have been happier. The Caprese Salad was so fresh and delicious, as was the spaghetti with meatballs. The portions were large so my friend and I shared both the salad and spaghetti and were quite full. Service was excellent and the meal was topped off by a complimentary shot of pistachio liqueur. Excellent!

Kind staff, allright food. Nothing special, I had penne al Arrabiata and they were really spicy but allright tastewise. The toillets need some restauration since they look a bit out of shape. The Atmosphere was good, little cute italian restaurant.

We had a great time here the location is perfect, great views. Lots of food choice and good quality / fresh food. My girlfriend was so impressed, when the bill came in at €34.30 she rounded it up to €35.00 for their troubles! The waiter was too polite to say anything… I couldn’t help but laugh of course. She meant to leave a much larger tip of course We will be back! R & J

Being so close to one of the main tourist attractions in the city I was unsure if this would be a great spot or an overpriced mediocre spot. It was great! So glad we went in at the advice of our guide. The staff was wonderful and not alarmed at all to have a group of 8 come in their restaurant. We offered to sit 4/4 so they don’t need to move tables. They were more than willing to rearrange the small space for us, and we had to assure them it was just fine to sit teens at one table and adults at another. Everyone’s food was wonderful, we had paella, a sandwich, a pizza and 5 different pastas. It was a great meal at a good price with wonderful service to go along with it.
