First of all this review does not reflect the staff of this motel as they were lovely and kind.

This place calls itself an efficiency unit.

Imagine renting an “efficiency” and finding out there is no stove or oven to cook on?

They had an electric hot plate that was so tiny, only one frying pan could be used at one time.

All the oven food we had spoiled because it could not be cooked.

There was one ladle and no can opener.

There was one mug that we shared our morning tea.

Efficiency??? Not a chance !

When we arrived there was 1/2 roll of toilet paper and no soap.

The towels smelled like the fat fryer and we were tiny tiny little head towels. The electric outlet in the bathroom did not work.
There was left over soap scum from the previous renters shower.

The place was so damp and dirty and rust everywhere. What a shame that we were charged a total of $137 a night for each room !

$49.99 would have been generous with the state that this place is.

One of our rooms ( we had three) had no key and we were told to keep it unlocked because there was no other key to open it.

This place need a a TOTAL REHAUL!!

I would highly advise you to not stay here unless you are desperate for a place to stay

We had a number of rooms booked with over a month in advance notice that we needed them for a business trip. When we called them to adjust the booking, we were informed only two of the five rooms we needed were available.

After inquiring on the reason with the manager, we were informed a construction crew had taken all but two of the rooms for the next two and a half years and that our one-night stay wasn't as important as the others. The manager at the location asked "If you were put into the position, what would you do?", trying to justify that it is a slower period and need all the business they can get. She also said she was going to call me today regarding this as she didn't have our number until Thursday (mind you, the date I am writing this is the following Monday and it was a lie as they had my contact name, number, and credit card put on the file for the reservation).

Considering our reservation was cancelled on us last minute, we were left scrambling trying to find a place for our accommodations, we now have to drive almost two hours to get from our new accommodations to the location we were going to stay at.

Don't waste your time or money with this place, doesn't matter if you reserve well in advance, if they can get more money from a different person or group, you can bet that your reservation will most likely be cancelled.
