The room was not very clean I asked the room service to come and clean it and change the bed sheets which they adhere to the request quickly.
Then I went back to the front desk and I complained about the delay during check in and the bathrooms, the cleanliness of the rooms and the balcony that face the wall to the Duty Manager Mr. Abdullah Ghanam who apologized and as an apology he sent to the room a plate of fruits and gave us till 6pm to check out.
All in all our stay was excellent. All the cautions for COVID were taking into consideration.
The food was served as a buffet by the hotel friendly staff, and it was international nights . The pools were very clean and the towels packed in plastic bags and they provide it with a cold bottle of water.
The way to the sea was very easy there is a wooden path that protect us from walking in the hot sands . The lifeguards at the beach were very friendly and helpful by providing us the Dead Sea mud. The towels and cold water were available in addition to the seabeds and umbrellas.
I would like to thank Mr Abdullah Ghanam the Duty Manager again for his understanding and making our stay a good stay, definitely we will visit Crowne Plaza Dead Sea again.
Regards,
Iman
Room – Nice clean room with beautiful views of the dead sea
Dinner/Breakfast – Delicious food with friendly chef checking on you to ensure you have tasted all the traditional dishes
Beach/Pool area – Hotel has a nice private beach area with sunbeds. Towels and water bottles are provided. There is an area where you can cover yourself in dead sea mud (mud provided). Beach has beach guards during opening hours.
Pool area – many pools to choose from, all clean and nice. Again beach guards are on site.
Staff - Staff very friendly and helpful. Always greet you with a smile and any issues are quick to resolve
We made a complain when we leave the hotel, and they called us and apologize about everything, but apologize is not enough for the bad time we had there. They say they are going to fix it if we go back, and for sure we will go next week to check if is true or not.
I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care i received at your hotel from 13 february to 14 february .

I have recommended crown plaza hotel to all of my friends.
Thank you again for such outstanding service.
The breakfast buffet was satisfactory but the restaurant is very noisy - the sound echoes through and generally feels hectic.
The Lebanese restaurant wasn’t great, we’ve had some great food on our trip through Jordan so unfortunately didn’t think this was quite up to par. We was also given our bill as soon plates were cleared when we had been keen to have dessert and coffee, it felt a bit awkward asking if we could have more (plenty of empty tables)!
On second night we chose to eat in the upstairs bar area (mainly because the buffet was 27JD which seem extortionate) it was a lovely experience the waiter there we have found has been helpful. The food was tasty and a nice atmosphere away from the multiple tour groups in the buffet restaurant!
The pools we’re fine - partly closed but maybe that was seasonal? We had a sea view room which was lovely, especially for sunset.
Overall it was an ok stay, but generally the service hasn’t been as good as other IHG hotels we have stayed in Jordan, the location worked well for us. The staff are trying hard but seem to lack direction, and we noticed more managers in both restaurants look to be telling wait staff off for not tidying but they were working extremely hard for the guests staying.
Paid a small fortune for an extra large room and it appears to be unavailable. The receptionist showed us a simple double room between two rooms with screaming children or suggested we upgrade to a suite for extra cost. The suite is dirty: smears on the mirror, dirty bathroom. The conditioner has one setting - very cold. So no heating. Outside is a generator for the air circulation system. Writing at night so it is super noisy. Went to the beach - no beach towels. The guy says “ bring, 5 min”. After 30 min no towels, after another 10 min he announces he is not going up for any as they are closing in 5 min and we all have to leave. Thank you for leaving us cold.
The food is average. Not basic, but not nice either. Restaurant stuff are pleasant, but poor English.
Spa is anot her disappointment. It is for over 18 only. So no chance for our adult son to have a warm swim or to get a massage. What is the point of coming here? I see none.
Standard room was very large compared to other hotel on deadsea.
Regarding covid 19, All employee wearing mask and gloves, you can find automatic disinfectant every where on the hotel.
