We wanted to visit friends who were staying in Benitses on holiday and wanted a couple of nights out with them (we were staying elsewhere on the island). So, we booked into HB Hotel Benitsa with Booking.com. I must say that the staff were wonderful and the room was very clean, and a reasonable price for the standard of accommodation Everything is nearby and lots of choices around to eat and drink. Excellent free wi fi. and comfortable beds. Location is superb, there is a lovely beach few min walk with bars and shops. We had a great time, highly recommended.

Great experience, Andreas was very friendly and tried to help us as much as possible! The hotel is in a good location just 1 minute from the sea side. The price was reasonable and the hotel was very clean. Worth a visit if you are looking for a budget hotel.

I found poor information about this hotel via internet. Mostly, the reports about it are very old.

Location of hotel: In Benitsa, very nice village on the coast.

Parking place: Hotels Avra and Benitsa are using together - same private parking. Capacity of it - up to 10 cars. If you leaving a hotel by night then be ready to stay a car to another parking because time to time no free space.

Room: Not too big but enough for two persons. Includes terrace with interesting view, bathroom, TV and excellent internet connection. Very good acoustic isolation. Room was cleaned every day. Bathroom is very clean - no problem with hot water.

Beach: Hotels Avra and Benitsa are using together - same private beach. Beach includes and restaurant "Tavern Avra", with nice traditional terrace and very good ambient music. There is possible to enjoy in very good Greek and International continental and sea foods. We have breakfast in this tavern every day. Sun beds and umbrellas are free for guest of hotel. Beach is very clean and safe.

Hotel staff: They are very professional, young, friendly and enthusiastic people.

Who are visiting this hotel: The age of the guests is - from 7 to 77 years.

Our room was ok and the location is great, but the host was incredibly unfriendly and immature. Our sheets smelled of damp and after a polite request to have them changed we were made to feel unwelcome and were arrogantly told that we were wrong (why we would make something like that up is beyond me). We also weren't allowed to use the air conditioning - I'm not sure why, but I suspect it was 'revenge' for complaining about the sheets. If you choose to stay here beware about complaining about anything as it is unlikely that your complaint will be handled professionally or maturely.

Is the worst place I have ever been. Very old and dirty. Nothing to do with pictures. Most of the days we didn't have hot water. There is no customer care at all. Once they got your money they don't care at all about you. Last night we went for a boat trip and when we came back we found a paper note saying that they have changed our room (without previous notice). They took all our belongings (dirty clothes, passport, money, food...) and they moved to another room in another floor. We had to look for the manager/receptionist to get the new key. They were not at reception in any of the hotels as per usual so we had to go across the road to a restaurant under the same management to ask for them. When we ask for explanation they refuse to give us any and they shouted at us saying " WE CHANGED YOUR ROOM BECAUSE WE HAD TO". They treat us as stupid and they didn't care about our rights. Very upsetting and awful experience. Avoid this place!

Clean, bright, all mod cons, close to the beach - what more could you ask for - and very reasonably priced. There was a small balcony which was big enough for two and a clothes-horse was provided so I could dry my towel and swimsuit every day. Room was cleaned and bed made every day. Bed linen and towels were changed every 3 days. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come again and would recommend it to all my friends
