As a group of 6 friends we stayed here to celebrate 2 birthdays and could not have asked for a better hotel. Even before we left the UK, communication was reassuring and informative.
From the moment we arrived the great welcome set a positive mood for our stay. They went out of their way to make sure our rooms were close to each other, all of which were very clean with little extras we didn't expect like hangers, towels and extra pillows. The complex is really well laid out with a lovely pool which has a bar for drinks and snacks. The main hotel bar and restaurant provided a great selection of food and drink and we never once had to wait to be served. The staff here are truly outstanding.
We like to explore local restaurants shops and bars and due to Morfeas location we had loads on offer within such a short distance. Equally the beach was very close by. We even found a bar with a bowling alley for when the weather was cloudy.
We had such an amazing holiday thanks to the staff here who made us so welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them and they did it all with a smile.
Thank you so much Akis for making our only trip of the year so special. Without a doubt we will return.

Just returned from a week at the Morfeas & I've been pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay. Arrived on the second week of opening & the hotel was pretty quiet which was quiet nice as customers to not feel too cramed in with the current situation. On arrival we we're greeted by the lovely informative Joy as soon as we walked in, given a quick briefing on the usual hotel info. The reception area/bar/restaurant is lovely & modern, immaculately clean, the front outside areas too.
Our bedroom was very basic, so don't expect luxury beds & bathrooms but again extremely clean, no maintenance issues. Air-conditioning was ok, kettle, fridge ok (although a bit of rattling in the night) bed was a bit hard but its a week & we're not buying it. Bathroom floor did get soaked from the shower so just be careful underfoot. The pool area was great, again very well cleaned, the loveliest staff working the pool bar, cooking meals, cleaning & making everyone feel extremely welcome (the beautiful lovely smiley Caterina remembers everyone's names!) The pool area isn't manned with actual pool staff, so just be aware if your taking kids.
Evening entertainment was just easing back in, Mc Priciple (aka the mayor) was on the decks every evening & the odd afternoon. We had a very fun quiz night & karaoke. I gather there is usually a lot more on the go but with the greece guidlines & low numbers it was a bit different.
So overall this small but big personality hotel is fantastic! Suits all ages, no one is made to feel like they can't join in (your encouraged to. The staff are amazing, I wished we could of told the kitchen staff & cleaners that you don't really see what a great team they all are too. I can honestly say I've never had a lump im my throat saying goodbye to an owner, bar staff, waiter, maintenance person etc.....ever before but l did here. I wish you all at Morfeas the best of luck with the rest of the season & hope to see you all again in the future, wendy & steve 😎

We stayed here as part of Unity in the Sun. Room was basic but the beds were clean & comfy. Cleanliness of everything else in the room wasn't though. We had to clean the tray with the kettle, the cups & all surfaces as they were filthy. The shower also had a mind of its own & would shoot off full water pressure & completely flood the tiny bathroom. We had to use all our towels to try & mop up the mess. The housekeepers only changed our sheets once in 7 days (& I never got the extra sheet I requested) & twice I had to ask for fresh towels due to the shower mishaps. In most hotels I've stayed in the towels are changed daily. We ended up with ants due to the rooms not being cleaned more often. The rest of the hotel complex was very clean though.
The pool area was great with plenty of loungers (altho they were pretty uncomfy), the bar was well stocked with a great menu which was reasonable & good quality. The club sandwich & Greek salad were my faves! Couldn't fault the staff either especially hard working Akis who was there to welcome us with a smile at our 4am check in after a nightmare flight.

Recently stayed with 9 friends and the service was second to none. Was greeted at reception at 3am by Akis who was extremely welcoming and extended the happy hour for us at the bar despite it finishing 2 hours earlier. Throughout the week, events such as Karaoke and a pool party are hosted at the hotel each night which are really enjoyable. All the staff are very accommodating and take the time to talk to you. George and Lydia behind the bar are a particular credit to the hotel and Joy and Akis are always on hand to ensure you are enjoying your stay. The resident DJ, Principul, was absolutely fantastic. He went round the pool daily talking to each person and went above and beyond to accommodate to every person staying. The food is top quality both in the restaurant and at the pool bar. The rooms were cleaned daily with both fresh bedsheets and towels provided daily. Overall I could not recommend this hotel enough, it’s in a fantastic location and the staff really make you feel like part of the family during your stay. Will definitely be returning.

We are just back from a 5 night stay at the Morfeas Hotel in Kavos. It was a very pleasant experience and most enjoyable. The pool area was exceptional. Plenty of sunbeds, the music was fantastic and the bar served very good snacks and drinks at a reasonable price. Akis and Joy were always there to sort out anything that needed done and we had no problems. The rest of the staff were all so frendly and helpful. My wife and I were there to celebrate our 45th wedding aniversary on the third of June and the staff very kindly left a card for us in the room. We paid for the air conditioning and it was a Godsend, well worth the 8 euros a night. Why anyone would complain about paying for this service is beyond me. It is what it is! If you want free aircondioning book four or five star, but believe me you are paying for it anyway as it is welded on to the price of your stay. We were booked as bed and breakfast and to me the breakfast was adequate. The buffet had cooked meat, chese and cereal. There was also croisants and cake, and a bit of fruit, you can also order fresh toast and make yourself a nice ham and cheese toastie. The orange juice was real and not the diluted cordial that is often served up. The coffee was also very very good. I think anyone who complains about the breakfast may be the sort of person you see going around the the bigger hotel breakfast buffets with two heaped plates of food which gets picked over and then thrown in the bin. The Hotel is in a great location and close to the beach, it is also close to the strip but not so close that it would be noisy or intrusive. On the strip the bigger bars and restaurants can be expensive and the food not impresive. We found a lovely wee family resaurant run by two brothers and their mother called Eves Garden. It doesn't have the name on the sinage but it is across the street from Pulse Bar and Ricos Supermarket. It is well worth a visit, you won't be disapinted. The Morfeas is a clean and well run Hotel and good value, it is better than some three and four star hotels we have stayed in. Thank you for a great holiday. Joe and Rosemary.

Me and my partner came here for a holiday and really enjoyed our time here.
The staff are friendly and helpful from the start and can't do enough for you.
We was in the B block and the room, whilst on the basic side, had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. The room also had a fridge and a hair dryer. I'd highly recommend paying 40 euros for the air con for the week.
The pool is a good size and they have a dj who plays songs during the day.
There is plenty of fun entertainment during the evening too including quiz night, bingo, human jukebox and several other fun events.
I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant, as the standard is very good and fresh.
There are plenty of cocktails to choose from at the bar and they often hold a extended happy hour on selected drinks.
A couple of minor downsides, 1st is the breakfast included in 'bed and breakfast option'. It's very basic and from some of the local bars/restaurants, you can pick up a full English for €2.50 so we opted for this instead. Whilst the rooms are nice, it is nothing special so if you used to luxury apartments, this isn't it.
If you're coming away with the lads/girls, this is literally the perfect place to stay as it is a couple minutes walk from bars and the main strip it's also a few minutes walk to the beach.
One of the main postivies about this hotel is the manager and senior staff. They are constantly on the ground, asking if things are ok and if there is anything they can do.
Overall, our stay was excellent and should we visit again, would have no hesitation booking again.
Yamas!

Just come back from a 10 day stay at the hotel. Lots of positive things about this hotel and the surroundings, however it wasn’t really for us. I feel the hotel is more suited for the younger travellers. Although we expected a bit of noise (this is Kavos after all 😊) and the hotel is situated far enough from the strip, the hotel itself was noisy a lot of the time, mainly the music blasting out from neighbouring balconies/rooms, but also from the reception/bar area. Admittedly, the noise from the bar area did subside around midnight most nights. The staff at the hotel were lovely, and contrary to some minority reviews, the cleaning/bedding/towel changing was carried out daily and we had no issues whatsoever. Yes, the rooms are quite dated and showering was hard work due to the bathroom getting a little flooded, but they were adequate enough for a short stay. The room contained a fridge (which was a godsend) a small kettle, cups and glasses and an hairdryer. Air conditioning was available at €8 per day. Tv remotes were given for a €20 deposit(returned once you gave the remote back).
The breakfast was continental and available between 8:30am- 10:30am with toast, croissants, cake, ham and cheese slices, melon, natural yoghurt as well as coffee, tea and juice. Other breakfast items could be purchased if you wanted anything different, and a good selection was on the menu at very reasonable prices. We only ate at the hotel restaurant once throughout our stay but what we had was very nice. The hotel grounds are very well kept and very pretty and the pool area is lovely. Plenty of sun beds but a little uncomfortable ( definitely need some kind of padding) if you’re planning on lounging around the pool. Music is played all day and can sometimes be a little repetitive and loud but maybe that’s my age. Some days, the DJ took requests and that mixed it up a little and made it more enjoyable. The outside bar offers snacks and drinks at very good prices and the ice cream was delicious and a bargain at €2/€2:50. I didn’t catch her name but the blonde lady who works there was so lovely, working hard but still took time to chat, she’s a credit to the hotel. To summarise, my feelings are the hotel is definitely for the younger guests, I wouldn’t recommend it for families with young children but for a 2 star rating you won’t be disappointed.

After three different cancelled holidays due to Covid we decided on Corfu and the Morfeas came up as a good deal and just away from the madness of Kavos strip!

As it happened Kavos was more than a little subdued and a lot of the trashy bars weren't open so it was more like a traditional busy resort than the usual madness.

The hotel and staff were brilliant form start to finish, the lovely Joy booked us in and ran through what things were like Covid wise and we went to the welcome meeting hosted by Akis and this explained the rest.

The room was simple and functional and I would definitely recommend staying in the twin/double rooms as opposed to the Studios - but we had no problems at all.

Everything else about the hotel was brilliant. Great bar that sold decent drinks at very good prices - Mythos was 2.50 a pint. Loved the cocktails and all the bar staff were great.

Food was very good - especially the steaks and the beautiful saganaki. Well worth dining in a few times.

We had boat trips organised for us and the highlight was how far they went to make sure my daughter had a fantastic 15th birthday.

We will be back and look forward to seeing the team again.

Outstanding Staff and Hotel that just keeps us coming back for more, 5th stay at the Morfeas would not consider staying anywhere else. This is our Sunshine home from home with our Greek family. We have already booked for next year. I cannot express how fantastic this place is, not only does it have all the amenities on your doorstep as well as short walk to the beach, it is a family run hotel with a dedicated core team, working their socks off to make you feel valued, welcomed and special. You feel this from the second you arrive. So to Akis, Joy, Mickey, Vanessa, Katerina (cheesy chips), Costas, Th e Godfather and George, we miss you, but know we’ ll be back before we know it. A special mention to Principul the in house DJ a legend in his own right.
We travelled with 14 year old daughter and 12year old granddaughter who equally instantly fell in the love with the hotel the people and Kavos.
Hotel perfect setting short walk from beach, water sports, shops, bars and restaurants.
Hotel is clean, rooms cleaned daily, towels and linen changed regular, all rooms have balcony, fridge, kettle, hairdryer. Air con is payable extra. Safe was free as we upgraded to half board, which is definitely worth it as food is freshly made and delicious, from traditional Greek to burgers.
AMAZING 🤩 👌 great for all travellers highly recommended.

Returned home from a week stay in the Morfeas yesterday with my girlfriend. It’s fair to say this hotel is worth paying a visit too! The hotel staff explain everything in detail and make you feel welcome with a meeting while having a drink with you! The pool is a good size with a pool table as well. The drinks are reasonably priced and the snacks during the day by the pool are unreal! The food on a night is spot on, especially the cheesy garlic bread and sirloin steak! The only negative I can think of is the shower was very small! Special mention to Katrina the woman behind the pool bar during the day! She was absolutely adorable and we spoke every day about something new! Great member of staff!

Is there a supermarket nearby to stock up on essentials? Also what type of room would three 18 year old girls get?

The Chandris supermarket is just around the corner. Stocks everything you could want. There are fridges in the room for your drinks. Also a kettle and mugs for making tea and coffee. My friends had a triple room and had 3 single beds. You can get extra pillows or blankets if you need them. Beds are comfy enough. Room have a balcony, aircon and a safe. The staff are all top notch, it's a family business.

All local Chandris will be closed unless you stop on the strip. For party days best to speak with Joy at Morfeas as not all years have the same days for certain things depends on time of season etc
