I couldn't have asked for a better holiday...Tea lake Cottages turned out to be a beautifully located scenic resort which took my breath away when I first looked at it... surrounded on three sides by the beautiful Tea lake, these four cottages form a lovely unit which are one of a kind. There are boats you can go paddle boating in, hammocks to laze around on a breezy afternoon, birds you can hear all day and the lake itself changes its color and light all day long...
The cottages are like miniature homes with all the comfort of a hotel and the coziness of your own shack. These are aptly named after birds which frequent this place...Loon, Hummingbird, Dragonfly and Eagle's nest.
The sheer quiet and serenity of this place makes you fall in love with it. I wanted to explore every little bit of this huge property. The little barbecue joints in every cottage are the cheery on the cake...
With every care taken about the guests including their pets, this place owned by a sweet couple is one of the most popular holiday destinations across Ontario.

We stayed in the Hummingbird for a week. We liked the privacy it afforded, as you are higher up but still have a good lake view.

The swimming in Tea Lake is great. The water was lovely and warm and it is deep enough to dive off the dock. There is also a shallow area where small kids can wade in. We liked having access to the canoe and kayaks, and one day we took the canoe for a paddle up the Severn River, which can be reached via a short river that flows from Tea Lake into the Severn.

Jimd and Suzy are great hosts and were around if we needed to ask them any questions.
