"When you and your pet check in, we’ll greet you with a PAWS Welcome Letter and complimentary dog treats. Plus, we’ll have your room ready with a water dish, feeding bowl, waterproof mat for use during your stay." That's what Sonesta claims on their Pets Are Welcome at Sonesta page.
We arrived early, so we didn't expect they'd have everything ready for our Dachshunds Baylah and Eli. However, they only had one feeding bowl when we asked for them, a water bowl and a mat. The dogs didn't get a welcome letter and there were no dog treats. Out back, where there was a grassy area to relieve themselves, there were two empty rolls of poop bags that were not replenished during our three-day stay.
Still, Baylah and Eli had a great time and we did, too.
Our room was very clean. And both it and the hallway smelled fresh during our stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was longer than most other places where we've stayed.
Even though the hotel seemed full, we did not hear a lot of noise. We never had a problem finding a place to park.
The staff was friendly and always greeted us whenever we came in or went out.
We've seen photos taken a few years ago, which looked dated. Everything in our room looked modern. We took advantage of the cooktop, refrigerator and freezer and dishwasher.
We would stay here again.

Hotel's Favourite
I recently had a great stay with the Sonesta Simply Suite in Denver, so I booked this property. This hotel offered, again, quiet, spacious and clean hotel rooms. I spoke with a few guests, and everyone was happy with their stay. The laundry machines were all relatively new, and operated well. The self service coffee machine was very convenient. The staff were all very friendly. The General Manager took the time to introduce himself to me. The hotel makes me feel like a valued guest. Thank you.

I arrived a couple weeks ago for work and have enjoyed my stay here at Sonesta so far. The rooms include a kitchenette with a microwave, stove top, dishwasher and fridge. There’s a laundromat with a small gym as well. I’m not familiar with the area as much but there are a few restaurants within walking distance. Great shuttle/front desk service from their team Erika, Jesika, Tracy, Hussein, Christian, and Kassie. They’ve been able to accommodate all requests I’ve made since arriving. The general manager Justin is incredibly friendly and will go out of his way to help. Thanks for a great stay.

We were in town for a tournament and were booked at another hotel. The room we had at the other hotel was not as big as we were hoping, so went to two of the surrounding hotels in the hopes of finding a larger room. Justin, the GM, asked if we would like to see the rooms available. The room was a perfect fit for what we were looking for, so we canceled the other location and moved to Sonesta. Justin is SO accommodating and knows all of the guests. If you are looking for a room that offers all of the amenities you need, this is the location for you. They had the best customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. Justin is a true asset to Sonesta.

I’ve stayed here in the past on business and it’s always comfortable and quiet. The room is spacious even with a kitchenette, desk, and dresser. It’s like I never left home. Kitchenette is full of all the utensils needed to cook a full course meal or take food to the grill outside and do some grilling under the gazebo. Sometimes I don’t stay in and go downtown just blocks away to enjoy the city creek shopping and dining. Overall, very satisfied with service. The van picked me up from the airport and dropped me off at anytime I needed to be on time for my flight out.

After our flight home was cancelled and we were stuck in SLC midnight during a snowstorm, this was the perfect place. Comfortable stay close to the airport!
What makes this place exceptional though is Kyle (the young man working the front desk) who was quick, kind, and most importantly caring. Kyle put a smile on my face with his hard work and proactive efforts to grab everyone shuttles/Ubers and answer all questions. Thank you!

I have never met a general manager as accommodating as Justin. He is above and beyond in customer service and he will bend over backwards to take care of you. The hotel itself offers studios with a fully functional kitchen that comes with a fridge, microwave, stovetop, washing machine, etc. It is perfect for those who prefer to cook their own meals and are health conscious. They also offer a gym and laundromat. The biggest perk by fat is their complimentary shuttle service (they close at 9pm). They do comp your Uber ride if you show them a receipt as well from the airport! Doesn't get any better than that!

The hospitality and friendliness of the whole team (manager, front desk staff, cleaning staff, shuttle drivers, etc) made my 2 months stay very comfortable. The location is great (close to the airport and not too far from downtown, restaurants and shopping). The beds are very comfortable, great a/c, complimentary washer and dryer, transportation service is great, did i say the staff is AWESOME :-). EVERYONE was very helpful, pleasant to work with and talk to; if there was ever an issue, it was handled with grace. They went above and beyond! I stayed at this location for 2 months and I enjoyed every moment. Justin and his staff were A+! Whenever I visit Salt Lake City, I will definitely stay at Sonesta again (leisure and business); I've also shared this location with family, friends, colleague, and employer. ~ K.D.

Everyone that works here is super friendly and willing to help you. Erica picked me up from the airport and was on time.
The hotel itself is a little outdated, but the rooms are kept clean. The suites give you basic cookware if you desire to cook something. My room had a stove top, microwave, and dishwasher.
