Detailed Reviews
Easy to find, conveniently located for our journey, the staff were all welcoming and helpful. The room was a good size, clean and well appointed (great pillows!), and felt freshly decorated. Continental breakfast was included in our reservation and provided a good range of items to choose from, in a bright and very relaxed breakfast room. Their website is undergoing updating and I hope it will lead to more visitors for them.

This 12 room hotel is absolutely perfect. Very well appointed, very comfortable, very good continental breakfast, exceptionally clean even has an elevator, not too bad for only a two floor hotel - as we said - perfect. The only thing better than the hotel itself, is the staff - especially Tonda who just happened to be working during our stay. She goes beyond in providing any help and information you may need. We only dealt with the other staff member briefly, but she seemed to be excellent as well. We also met the owners briefly and they also seemed excellent to deal with. Very highly recommended

This is a very nice and clean hotel that offers and good quiet nights sleep. We only spent one night while traveling through the area but would have been very comfortable staying multiple nights. The staff is friendly and we enjoyed our stay there.

Beautifully clean rooms and kitchen for travellers use. Breakfast items, coffee, etc are always available. The friendly Manager (Tonda) is more then willing to help you with whatever you need. This hotel is highly recommended and the pub next door for dinner is a must! Very close to the ferry.

This place is very clean, actually it was recently renovated, so it's basically brand-new. The service was friendly and the location is good. The continental breakfast was ample as well. You can tell the manager is on top of things here.

Great place to stay in Placentia. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast area was well stocked and food was good. There was a bit of noise from the hallway and from nearby rooms but nothing too bad.

I was slightly hesitant to stay here because it only had 2 1/2 Select stars but it is really lovely. Clean, bright (our room had 3 windows) and comfortable room and a nice breakfast room with a good selection of breakfast foods. I asked staff why they didn`t have more stars and they said they would have to have air conditioning to get more stars. The Hotel is in a great area with the Three Sisters Pub around the corner to have drinks and great food. Overall very pleased with the room, price and great staff.

The Bridgeway offered a clean and comfortable place to rest for the night. Our room was tastefully decorated. I fell in love with the white bedspread and pillow covers. There are no airconditioners in the rooms but they did have fans and a number of windows that could be opened to catch a cool breeze. The continental breakfast was outstanding with a large number of foods to select from.
The two staff members, Tonda and Bernice went out of their way to accommodate our every need. Checkout was at eleven o'clock but our shuttle to take us to the ferry would not be picking us up until three thirty. Tonda showered us with kindness by allowing us to wait in the hotel breakfast room and offering up more coffee and goodies during our waiting time.
Many thanks for the great memories of Newfoundland and its people.

When I first saw this hotel, I had one of those "oh, no" feelings. The building is old, and it shows on the outside. The interior is another story. I didn't ask, but I'd guess that the entire building was gutted and then rebuilt. (Complete with elevator.) The rooms are all modernized with new fixtures, flooring, beds and accessories. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. There is no A/C in the room, but there is a fan, and due to the location, I doubt that it'd get much use if there was one. The ladies running the hotel during our stay were very friendly and helpful. The only quirk our room had was that the old floors, especially in the bathroom, creaked loudly when we walked on them.
We weren't real happy with the dining choices in town, so wound up eating most of our meals at "The Three Sisters" pub and restaurant next door. The food there was very good, but the service usually left lots to the imagination.
We'll stay there again if we return to Placentia.

All rooms have a private bathroom.
We travelled with 4 other couples and all our rooms had tubs with shower
heads. Very clean and modern
