We had an absolutely incredible stay and family wedding for four nights in April 2023. The front desk team was wonderful and met our every request with smiles and assistance! We loved loved loved the room arrangements - you all went over the top! The food and drinks in the lounge and the area behind the lounge were wonderful. Housekeeping was always there and pressed dresses so quickly it was wonderful. We had fun in the Tribecca neighborhood and we can't wait to come back

From the moment you arrive the staff greets you at the entrance on Greenwich, grabs your luggage and car keys and away you go. The staff is well trained on every level. When you need anything it is accommodated in minutes. The lobby is elegant and comfortable. The rooms have some old creeky floors but it adds to the patina of this older hotel. The shower was the highlight with tons of water pressure and a rainfall spout high above which I appreciated at 6'3". The central location to the Freedom tower and great restaurants allows for saving money on cabs and Uber. Whenever I needed my car, a simple ring to the front desk and it was there in 5 min. Thank you for making this time with my college aged sons so memorable.

Staying at The Greenwich is honestly one of the best experiences in New York. Our absolute favourite hotel, full of atmosphere but feels like a home away from home.
Each room is different, quite spacious and beautifully decorated - with stunning carrara marble bathrooms - and one of the best hotel showers we've experienced!
The major bonus is the guests-only drawing room, where you can sit for hours and enjoy the full Locanda Verde menu or a hot chocolate.
The staff are friendly and professional. The front desk staff have great recommendations, and no request is too hard.
The gym, pool and spa are excellent.
This is a special hotel. Cant wait to return!

TRIBECA, as the other neighborhoods of the area, have preserved the old industrial buildings of the 19th and 20th century workshops. This hotel is housed in a brick building that looks as an old factory. They managed to convert it in a contemporary 5 stars luxury hotel far from what a midtown luxury hotel used to look. We had 2 deluxe rooms, comfortably sized with a sofa, a writing desk and a adequate sized bathroom. One of the rooms had a bathtub and a compartmented bathroom, the other one had a large doble shower. Everything tastefully furnished in a contemporary elegant style and complimentary minibar. The bathroom with the large shower, had no closures which meant that every time you took a shower the whole bathroom floor would get wet and flooded. WIFI worked very well, service and staff well trained and very kind. A SPA consisting of a well equipped gym and a large indoor swimming pool are tastefully decorated. Breakfast is served in a charming patio or cozy living room with fireplace. The Italian restaurant serves good food, is busy but loudly. In general the whole property has very low illumination. Hallways and elevators should have more light. A nice luxury hotel in a kind of rustic elegant trendy industrial style, convenient if you like to explore lower Manhattan and Hudson River border walks.

My wife and I stayed just one might, but ended up spending nearly two full days at the property (thanks to Fine Hotels and Resorts package w/late checkout). We originally planned to get out and about more, but the amenities and restaurant were so good, we just stayed in.
Staff were all very pleasant. Most remembered our names when passing through the lobby. Everyone was also very accommodating for our dog that stayed with us.
Though we originally planned on having dinner elsewhere, the front desk snagged us a table in the hotel courtyard for dinner, which we HIGHLY recommend (especially if you have a dog). The whole dining experience was amazing — even romantic, which we didn’t expect traveling with a pup. If you’re not doing dinner, definitely eat in the courtyard at breakfast.
Part of the reason we stayed so close for our whole stay was some work that tied us up in front of our computers. The room had a great desk for working — two of us managed well and the Drawing Room was excellent when one of us needed to find a separate space for overlapping calls.
Can’t wait to splurge on a stay here again in the future!

We really enjoyed the location of The Greenwich during festive season in NYC. You are away from the tireless crowds of Midtown or The Village yet so close to all the action. This hotel is truly special as the decor and style set its apart from any chain style luxury hotel. This intimate hotel rooms are quaint and charming with individual decor, we loved our courtyard facing room as it was a true oasis in the city with absolutely no traffic or noise from the outside. The beds are amazing and the free mini-bar option is a welcome touch.
The private lounge is a welcome place to start or end your day as the guest only space is quiet, gorgeous and the fireplace adds to the charm of NYC during the winter season. While we did enjoy the hotel very much what kept us from giving out a five star review is the service and hotel restaurant Locanda Verde. The front desk staff is fantastic and friendly but the servers in the guest only lounge and Locanda Verde were painfully slow or had to be flagged down for simple requests like coffee refills or getting a drink. The same wait staff would walk by at least a half dozen times before they would acknowledge you were there. The breakfast options at Locanda Verde were limited in choice and frankly bland.
Truly a great hotel that offers you a unique stay and a welcome respite from the frenetic energy of NYC.

We stayed in a room viewing out onto the courtyard. This was an absolutely excellent stay. Breakfast was delicious and the pool was divine. We read a fresh newspaper in the morning with my beautiful breakfast, eventually relaxed and enjoyed the pool area, which I recommend 10/10, and then returned to our rooms to enjoy the most luxurious shower experience. The bed was alright, but an easy thing to overlook. Waiting upon our arrival was Champaign and a cookie, which was splendid. We truly had a wonderful experience! The restaurant was also a must, and room service was excellent!

The Greenwich Hotel is the antithesis of the standard Hilton or Marriott. Yes, you'll pay dearly for it but the feel is more that if an upscale, very exclusive club. There's no sign on the door, it's very low key and if you're not a guest or a friend of a guest, you won't be admitted to the hotel's chic private courtyard bar, which is tony and lined with sofas, a fireplace and a friendly staff. No snobbery or arrogance here - from front desk to waitstaff to housekeeping to doormen, all are nuclear smilers and willing to help. The location can't be beat as it's jammed with restaurants and bars that are all great (and many owned by De Niro), the food's top-shelf. Feels very European. Great liquid soap and shampoos in the rooms, by the way. If your wallet can handle the crunch, this is a calming oasis in a very busy city.

If you are wondering if you should splurge on a stay at the Greenwich Hotel, think no more and DO IT! I travel a lot and stay at many wonderful properties and am always looking for something unique and personal. This beautiful property checks all the boxes, great service, beautiful rooms, lounge and dining areas. Summer breakfast in the courtyard is over the top and the cosy lounge, with a woodburning fireplace, will make you not want to leave. The spa is also a must do!

I'll admit that my trip to the Greenwich Hotel didn't begin on a high note. We weren't able to check into until 6PM and I was somewhat underwhelmed by the decor initially (I had exceedingly high expectations because Axel Vervoort was involved in the interior design). However, the concierge arranged for me to take a call in the empty restaurant and subsequently sent a bottle of champagne as an apology for the inconvenience - a completely unnecessary but thoughtful gesture. Upon spending a few days at the hotel, I quickly grew to appreciate just how comfortable this place is - from the design to the service, everything is meant to make you feel at ease. The club room is so cozy and the food and wine is so delightful, we had to resist the urge to stay there every evening. What's more, the tasty treats in the room (for humans and their canine companions) were delicious! The hotel staff make you feel so calm and appreciated - it was truly delightful. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

At the hotel we have a mandate that all guests be vaccinated and we would accept that for your children - equally the Johnson and Johnson is a one shot covid vaccine for adults. here in the US so one shot is not unheard of.
Having said that I cannot comment what the entry requirement would be to get into the US.

There is no absolute weight limit but we would suggest that 50/60lbs is probably a weight that should be considered the maximum.
There is no deposit but we do ask our guests to sign a waver upon arrival.
Probably not. But call the property and ask. Parking is very expensive in Manhattan and would recommend to leave the car at home and get into the city via train, etc.
