We were excited to finally see a European style spa opening in Washington State and were (mostly) not disappointed. The rooms were nicely appointed, the view from the property outstanding, the location great and the wellness area at par with the better European ones. However, there are a few items that could use improvement. 1). When we called we were told that the facility provides a car charging station which turned out to be 3x 110V outlets in the garage. Giving the increasing popularity of electric cars investing a few hundred dollars to install a real charging station (level 2) would go a long way. 2) One of the steam sauna's handheld shower hose was disconnected so we could not hose off the tiled bench for hygienic reasons. We mentioned it to the spa attended, but things were the same the next day. 3) The breakfast "buffet" could use a little bit more variety . Three types of omelets (to order) and 2 types of cheeses/cold meats ("the buffet") is a little bit meager giving the hotels nightly rate.

I posted photos separately. Excite my capitalization as i am transferring my bullet point notes to this review on a phone keyboard.

This is an adult only hotel focused on tranquility and health Guests walk around in robes and it feels spa-like. Breakfast and lunch are included. This is off of a menu and the options are impressive. Gourmet and can order anything and everything.

The Location has mountain top with snow and River views with access to easy walkable and bike able trails. Right in Downtown Leavenworth. Parking is indoor, secure and included and we didn’t feel the need to drive anywhere once we unloaded for the long weekend.

The bed was firm, there is a safe and shallow mini fridge. Ice in the cabinet by the elevator. There is a rain shower and plunge tub and they provide body scrub as part of the toiletries. There is a TV in the mirror though we didn’t watch much. They provide refillable water bottles and slippers to keep and a robe to use on site. The balcony is nice but choose a ground floor and you can walk right out to participate in morning yoga (included) and/or walk to the pool.

Swim pool temp was perfect. It is a swim in and out from the inside pool, quiet and peaceful with sauna therapy rooms. They provide Sunscreen and after sun cream. There are plenty of Lounge chairs and towels and the staff cleans up those who have left regularly.

The room is not blackout. There was day light shining through the curtains so bring masks.

Our only complaint was that early in the morning we were awakened by the noise from the upstairs neighbor. The noise from the floor creaks was really bad.

It’s as advertised with unique decor and in-room functionality. Beautiful property and the service was amazing. Covid mask rules inside were followed and hand sanitizer provided. A wonderful memory for our 15th anniversary!

This luxury spa resort is exceptional every time! The rooms are always perfect and clean with fresh linens that smell heavenly. Th food is healthy and delicious and now they've even added a 2 to 9 pm appetizer menu. They are so accommodating during the pandemic. The spa personnel are so careful to keep the saunas and pool areas and linen baskets clean restocked and tidy. They never forget to light the candles in the evening. Everytime we have gone we have never met any employee who is unfriendly or unwilling to go out of their way to meet your needs and requests. The hotel was built with custom detail and comfort in mind. Decor is always seasonal and classy. They have completed the fitness exercise area. Yoga is available daily. We love post hotel and the team that makes it great. During Christmas season we though a cute addition would be lights on the front row of trees by fence surrounding outside pool. As if its not perfect already :)

I had a solo getaway midweek to the PostHotel. It’s amazingly beautiful. I had a juliette balcony which is perfect to open your French doors and let the fresh mountain air in.
My room consisted of a king bed - very comfortable. A clock including USB ports a very relaxing sitting room with a fireplace. Plush cozy robe with slippers that come in plastic wrap for sanitary purposes. The bathroom consisted of a separate toilet room, a beautiful shower with a rain shower head and also a handheld shower head. The focal point of course was the gorgeous hand carved marble tub and the tv screen within the bathroom mirror. I will admit it took me a minute to figure out how to plug the tub. I even had to call the front desk lol. Missing from the bathroom was a towel warmer and heated floors.
The pool and wellness area are amazing!! Included in your hotel amenities were a swim out pool, a hot tub indoor and outdoor, two plunge pools, three saunas with varying degrees of dry heat. Steam rooms including a eucalyptus room while you lay on marble lounges. A cool mint room and a nap room. Pure decadence. They had four reflexology stepping pools and inviting lounges to relax in.
Breakfast is included and everyone shows up in robes and slippers. The service was a bit slow but completely understandable with Covid protocols. All waiters were in masks. Lunch is also included however I didn’t partake.
I would absolutely stay here again. Felt luxiourous. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

Things of note. I had a wonderful fire and ice facial st the relaxing spa (extra charge.). The spa had a fantastic relaxation room with lounges overlooking the mountain. I noticed another sauna in the ladies restroom just outside the spa.
Bath amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body scrub, lotion, a bar soap with oatmeal in it that was lovely, cotton pads and q-tips.
I very much missed coffee in my room. There wasn’t any coffee or tea to speak of in the room which was disappointing.

I have stayed at The Posthotel many times in the past and have always been impressed. The hotel is lovely, the staff are attentive, and the food is excellent. However, they seemed to have missed the memo that there is a worldwide pandemic going on right outside their gilded doors. There are no signs asking for guests to wear masks. While the staff do wear masks (some wear 1/2 face shields that are likely ineffective), it was rare for us to walk from our room to the lobby without seeing at least 1 unmasked couple. In blatant defiance of the rules in Chelan county which clearly forbid indoor dining, The Posthotel seats unmasked guests in their small dining area twice daily at full capacity. They do allow guests to bring food back to their room, which we did exclusively. However, they should not have dining indoors at all at this time. The spa itself is an incredible example of group denial. There are no limits on the number of people in there and no one ever wears a mask in that poorly ventilated viral party area. In order to reduce our risk, we spent minimal time in common areas and never went in to the spa. Fortunately for us, the weather and the cross country skiing were both wonderful, so we had a lovely time and feel that we will not come down with COVID, despite the hotel's negligent behavior. I hope that the health department makes them change policies before guests start dying (if they haven't already). Sad...

Sad to see individuals have given this hotel a bad rating just because mask wearing is not enforced. All working staff wore masks at all times. Most guests are outdoors and in the world class spa area. I am so glad I wasn’t forced to wear a mask in the pool, hot tubs or any of the saunas. Absurd to think you would need to wear a mask in a 190 degree dry sauna. Also, the hotel stay includes breakfast and lunch, all dining is mask free while seated. Again all servers were wearing masks at all times.

People, please don’t let a few bad reviews based on a mask policy sway you from staying at this hotel. It is absolutely unique and wonderful in every way. You will not be disappointed.

Outstanding hotel designed and operated similar to those we have found in Europe. On this our first visit, we stayed one night to find out what amenities and services were offered. The web site leaves much to be desired as it lacks as much information as provided on the TV in our room. Management should take the various services detailed on the hotel TV (3 photos) and make them part of the web site.
Although we didn't use the Spa facilities we were able to have a guided tour through the spa where we learned about each area, service provided, and were given a suggested schedule so patrons could get the most out of their stay at the Spa.
Checking in early (after paying $40 each) we were directed to our room #102, on the second floor (the hotel counts floor number as it's done in Europe). We found our view of the river blocked by the glass dining room roof which also allowed light from the dining room to shine into the room around the closed curtains after dark.
Avoid rooms 101 and 102 as in my opinion they are the least desirable. We had the included lunch (photo of menu) and wandered around town. The room was comfortable and quiet. Having a TV screen as part of the bathroom mirror (photo) was a new feature we had not seen anywhere before. It's location was perfect if someone wanted to lounge in the marble tub and watch TV. As far as handling Covid, everyone was wearing masks and if a guest didn't wear a mask, someone from reception would offer a mask along with a request that the person please put one on in the common areas. Thank you for that move. The following morning we enjoyed the included breakfast which was excellent. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and booked two nights in May.

Great easy checkin, love the room. Delightful espresso drinks & delicious dessert on our first night.
The decor is all white & light woods, love that you can’t enter hotel without a key, very private!
The swim out salt water pool on a cold night with all the steam, heated. So nice!
The actual pools and wellness rooms are amazing. The shower with colored LED lights and different settings like “tropical” was so fun!
The cold pools are so neat. The cool mint room was a fav!
Make sure to wear your black swim suit as everyone has on black- lol
We were pleasantly surprised by a birthday treat in our room upon arrival!
The first morning breakfast was superb! There’s a buffet with yogurts, fruit, scones, oatmeal, and toppings & more!!! Then you order hot food of eggs, omelets, sausages, etc. the espresso and service were fast, efficient and amazing! The room itself with the sun shining was brilliant! Loved dining in our robes, could do this ever weekend ;)
Parking was easy and private and convenient.
I wish we had a hotel like this closer!!!
In our room the shower is great, modern, love the drain and amenities!
The bathroom mirror has a TV in it! Like a see thru screen!!!
The sitting area with fireplace was perfect for wine & a puzzle! All rooms have a view of the river & snow-capped mtns. So lovely!

Checked in the hotel, for 2 nights, have stayed there before has always been an amazing experience.
Observed many guests ( counted 10) walking around, some in street clothes, others in spa robes/attire. NO ONE wearing a mask or adhering to 6 foot distance.
I approached the from desk the lady stated that the Chelan Health District said they did not need to conform. A complete LIE.
Next morning they were allowing guests to sit in the foyer/dining area and eat breakfast!
Will never return.
Have forewarned 12 friends regarding the experience, 2 couples were gong to book =, not anymore.

I don't recommend staying here if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions. When I stayed at the hotel in 2019, I contacted the staff ahead of time and asked if they could accommodate my dietary restrictions and they said yes (I eat vegan and gluten free due to a medical condition). When I arrived, there were almost no food options for me and it was like pulling teeth trying to get the kitchen staff to help me. I figured it was because the hotel is new and as time went on, things would get better. I let management know about my poor experience and they didn't seem to care. I expect more from a hotel that charges a high price. And a large part of the experience is enjoying breakfast and lunch in their lovely dining area. I don't want to have to leave this beautiful relaxing property to grab food elsewhere.

Flash forward to 2022 and the issue remains. I was going to stay here in March and again contacted the staff about my dietary restrictions. I had a rude exchange with management. Customer service is seriously lacking. I've never had this happen before. I always contact restaurants and hotels ahead of time about my dietary restrictions and never have an issue. Eventually they did list some things that I could eat at the hotel, but after having this bad interaction, I decided to cancel my stay and I don't think I'll ever stay here again. It's really a shame because the hotel is beautiful and so relaxing. But they need to improve on customer service. The way they treated me and how they handled the pandemic as other guests have mentioned (not enforcing safety protocols) leaves me with a bad impression and so I can no longer support this business.

We paid a little over $400 a night...but, that includes a generous breakfast, lunch, an 8:00 dessert buffet, hot drinks and snacks during the day, and lots of spa-type amenities. We actually did not eat dinner either night we stayed there. We had a late breakfast and late lunch and we're not hungry for dinner.
