We stayed for four nights in June. We were not looking for a five star experience we just wanted a clean comfortable hotel as a base to explore Naxos and planned to spend up on the expensive accommodation in Santorini. We were really happy with our choice. We were very warmly greeted by George the Concierge (Manager? I don't know) who also offered us a cold drink which was a nice touch. He then produced a map and showed us all of the points of interest and explained where the bus stop was and even gave us a restaurant recommendation or two. He then carried our two heavy suitcases upstairs and into our room. Doesn't sound like a lot but we stayed in many hotels in Greece with no elevator and this was the only time someone carried our suitcases upstairs. We are in our 60's so really appreciated it. Later on in our stay he rang around and organized a rental car for us as well. The room was nice but nothing special. It was clean and neat and was just the usual hotel room layout and there was a little balcony with a couple of seats and a table. Strangely there two room safes in a cupboard but neither of them worked which was dissapointing. A big plus was that they supplied two, one liter bottles of water. Again, this is very rare in Greece in our experience. There was a nice pool that my wife had a dip in to cool off after a hot day. Breakfast was nice without being anything special with the usual offerings. I wasn't a fan of the fruit juice though. I think it was a concentrate and was super sweet and tangy so I gave it a miss. The coffee was nice though. The hotel was about 100 meters from the town square where there were a few nice restaurants and about another 200 meters down to the port area where there dozens of other eating and drinking options and of course the old town and all of the shops. It's also not far from the beach. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel and would definitely stay again if we are ever lucky enough to get back to Naxos.

The positives first.
The hotel was very clean and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were particularly grateful to the late / evening shift receptionist - a friendly and helpful man who sorted some problems (including replacing a broken safe) quickly and efficiently.
The beach is a 5(ish) minute walk. Easily manageable but definitely not 150mtrs as mentioned in a previous review.
The port area is also a few minutes walk and is very lively, full of restaurants bars and shops.
The walk up narrow lanes is also full of great shops and the occasional rooftop bar.
Mese2 on the front and Oasis by the beach were excellent restaurants.
We hired a car for a few days and would recommend Plaka Beach and Moutsouna Bay.
Now the not so good news.
The hotel is tired and small with furniture in the room showing signs of wear.
It’s Very noisy all of the time - we had a room at the front.
The view was the road, bins and other apartments.
The daytime receptionist was as miserable as sin.
Stay here if you want to be close to the action and a sandy beach but definitely not if you want peace and a view.

The room was beautiful, designed gorgeous. They had fresh sheets and a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was lovely and clean. They give you extra linen and slippers. The Kitchener was huge and clean. The fridge was fully stocked with waters juices, fruits and cheeses. On the table they had a basket filled with chocolate, crisps, and some yummy greek snacks. The view was breathtaking. The location is literally so perfect. Nothing negative to say at all.

We were a family of three who had a nice stay at Aolis. Excellent service from the staff, free transport to and from the harbour. Some mention that the pool is small, I think it was very nice, considering it is in the center of town. A nice touch is that they have towels you can use both for the pool and the beach. Breakfast is nice, but does not vary from day to day. Our room was adequate, some furniture and finishing worn down. The hotel is close to everything, nice restaurants, shopping, but also a bit of noise from the street and party peoples.

We stayed here recently and were disappointed. The hotel definitely looks much better in the photos than in real life. The Wi-fi didn’t work for over 24 hours when we arrived. The breakfast is fairly basic and the eggs and bacon are put in together which isn’t great if you’re a vegetarian. The staff were friendly but not massively helpful. This isn’t somewhere I’d stay again, or recommend anyone to stay in.
In good news the pool is nice and the location is very good. Less than a 10 minute walk to the port/front where all the restaurants are, and only around a 5 minute walk to the beach.
There are definitely nicer and better value places to stay in Naxos

The hotel has great location. It is only a few minutes’ walk from the Port and the beach. Sitting between two popular restaurants (To Elliniko and Nostimon Hella), there are many shops and dinners around.
The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast is good.
The stuffs were very friendly. They also offered transportation to and from the port.

I stayed at the very nice Aeolis Boutique Hotel in Naxos town for 3 weeks in September 2022. I am most grateful to the Hotel Manager George. I am not in good health, and felt unwell on the first Sunday of my visit. George very kindly drove me to Naxos Hospital, and waited for 2 or more hours whilst I was given a series of tests. He then drove me back to the Hotel. I particularly appreciated George's kindness, as I was on holiday on my own. Thankfully I was able to continue with my holiday as planned. George later found me a translator, to translate the Hospital report on me into english. I had previously stayed at this very nice Hotel in 2019, and my planned return was delayed because of the covid pandemic.

We have just returned from Naxos and the Aeolis Boutique hotel.
We were really pleased with the hotel.
Great location for the town, harbour and beach.
Very comfortable room and very clean.
Comfortable beds with super comfy pillows.
Beautiful quality bed linen and towels, changed regularly.
Breakfast was really good with lots of choice and lovely to be able to sit outside to eat.
Private secure car park a few metres away.
We asked about this and were given a key fob for our own use.
We also requested a kettle which we were given immediately.
The staff were lovely, just a little quiet but nothing too much trouble.
A special thank you to George who acted upon our request for a higher floor and always responded to my E-mails promptly.
It took us two years to finally get there due to the pandemic but so glad we made it!
We will definitely return to beautiful Naxos and to the hotel.

The reception was amazing, all staff was great. On our journey of traveling all islands, the staff made this hotel everything and more! The rooms were clean and they even blessed us with wine for our honeymoon! The stay was amazing, and I just had to get on and write a review for the amazing time we had!

Awful hotel. We arrvied in April for a 3 night stay but left after one night. On arrival the check in desk it was non maned and waited until someone showed up.They handed a botle of water and told our room was upstaits and that was it. On entering the room we had doubts whether we were in the right room-the ceiling cornice was coming away, the curtains were about to fall off,3/4 light globes not working and to top it off the beds were not even made. And the view over the back streets of Naxos was not inspiring either!
No point in complianing as no one in reception so stayed the one night when we went to complain after breakfast the woman helping had no English and my Greek was not up to trying to solve the problems-so we left and found a lovely hotel right on the beach with a large terrace in our room for about the same price.
Dreadful place but Naxos was great
