My wife and I like to vacation with another couple. Once a year we go to Las Vegas or Mesquite for a long weekend. We are from the Denver area. On the way home we always spend the night in Richfield Utah. Over the years we have tried several different hotels but our go to hotel in Richfield is the Comfort Inn. They are right off the interstate. Across the street from them is Wingers, a chicken wings/sports bar that rivals Wild Buffalo wings in quality and atmosphere. The prices for the rooms are very competitive and they accept AARP, AAA, and other travelers discounts as well as offering Veterans a discount as well. The staff is always friendly. The rooms are clean and well apportioned. The bathrooms are clean. The hotel is well maintained. The pool is above average in size for a hotel and it is actually heated. The hot tub is nice and not so hot you feel like a lobster. Usually they have a very nice breakfast bar but due to Covid-19 all they have is some muffins and fruit you can take to your room or on the road so we went down the road to Salina and ate at the best Denny’s in the USA. We always enjoy our stay at this Comfort Inn and can recommend it without reservations.

This hotel was dated but well maintained. Staff was very friendly and professional. Kaylee understood that we needed to use the laundry room, put us in the room right next to the laundry. The first impression is so important. Her friendly positive attitude made our stay a lot better. A gentleman who checked us out in AM was polite and professional. Our room was on 2nd floor, all the way at end of the hall, right next to the laundry room. There's a microwave and a little bigger size of fridge than usual hotel, with separate door freezer. The room looked exact the same as pictures online. Breakfast was make your own waffle, cold items, pre-pkg sandwich/burritos due to covid. We'd stay here again if we come close by.

The room appeared to be clean, although in this pandemic I always use Clorox wipes on high touch surfaces. The staff was friendly. The location right off the highway, but not noisy. It was a great one night stay on a long trip.

I am so annoyed with this place. The bathroom was disgusting and the room very obviously was not cleaned properly. Got here after driving all day from LA to find the front desk staff not wearing a mask. Then, the bathtub had dirt around the drain and on the ledge, and there was a pubic hair in the tub. I wore my shoes and tried not to touch anything. Oh, and the previous occupant’s towel was still hanging on a hook. When I wiped down the high touch surfaces (door knobs, light switches, etc.), my wipe came away with actual brown dirt on it. If I hadn’t already paid, I would have left. It goes without saying that while previously a dirty hotel room would just be an annoyance, since COVID-19 it poses an actual HEALTH HAZARD. If I hadn’t been dog tired from driving 9 hours and already paid, I would have left. I have no idea why this place is rated so highly. Avoid at all costs!!!

It baffles me I do not understand what is going on here do people just have such low standards these days that they would give a place like this 4 1/2 stars. Of all the places we stayed on our road trip to the West Coast this was by far the worst. Black mold on the bathroom wall is not acceptable. My husband had a great idea the manager of these hotels should have to stay in each room for a night so they can make a list of all the problems that it has. Start by putting in a new toilet that doesn’t sound like it’s going to blow up every time you flush it. The Wi-Fi was so bad it didn’t really do anything for us. They could update their TVs to smart TVs so that people with iTunes accounts could at least watch something decent. My advice is stay anywhere else in Richfield. If you must stop there. Oh and their pancakes what did they do to make them taste that awful!! 🤔🤨😖

I'm not one to write bad reviews unless they are warranted. I know that sometimes the cleaning staff might miss a wrapper under the bed or something that I consider trivial. However, this place warrants a full review for just how BAD it was on so many levels. Upon check-in, I went into my room to use the bathroom, when I noticed DRIED urine on the toilet seat. Clearly, the toilet had not even been cleaned. I alerted the desk, who sent staff to clean it. As I was sitting on the bed unpacking, there was a loud noise about every 90 seconds that sounded like the noisiest pipes I have ever heard, as though someone was flushing a toilet in high-pressure pipes. My husband requested a new room. The new room seemed better, but alas, it was not. I found multiple clumps of long hair on the bed, as though they had gotten caught in the sheets while being washed. There was dust everywhere. There was missing tile in the bathroom. The shower drain was mostly plugged so my feet ended up taking a bath. The sink drain had a brown ring around it, obviously it had not been cleaned and scrubbed adequately. But it was the NOISE from other rooms and from the hallway was the most awful. We could hear the guy in the room above us peeing, we could hear the toilet flush from above as well. It sounded like the family in the room next to us was in our room, and they were up until almost midnight being noisy. The hallways were constantly noisy. I have stayed in a lot of places over the years, some for weeks at a time, and I have never experienced anything as abysmal as this stay at the Comfort Inn in Richfield, UT. There are far better choices in the area.

This is a pretty cheap place to stay in a small town that doesn't have a lot of options. It's about what you would expect for the price. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was a good place to crash after a long day on the road on a family vacation. The pool was covered and the area was a little dated but it served its purpose just fine -- they kids wanted to play in the water after being in the car for 14 hours. Standard breakfast setup in the morning, and the staff was very responsive when we let them know if anything was out.

This hotel is scary horrid. The whole 2nd floor sticks and has food smaller into the hallway- all the doors are propped open and our room smells like feet. We had to request a new room because there was no way that room had been cleaned any time in the last month. I’m slightly afraid to even sleep in this hotel. I cannot understand how it has such a high rating. Do not use. The hotels across the street cost the same and are 100% better (we’ve stayed in them too). Cannot understand how this costs $150 a night. Worst ever.

We were in Richfield for family purposes and this was a convenient place to stay. While I understand that we are living in times of distress due to coronavirus, certain standards should still be met.
Closet doors should still shut, televisions should still function properly, and pool pumps should still be operating. On the upside, the room was clean.
However, if we return to Richfield, we'll definitely stay across the street at the Hampton Inn, as it looks less run down and more well cared for.

The room was in sad shape. Large & obvious damage on nightstand, tile missing on floor border by tub, toilet seat damaged& shower curtain torn badly in several places. Condition of room was more like a cheap motel not a franchise of decent reputation. When I tried to tell the hotel manager the morning we checked out, he dismissed me & said he wasn’t housekeeping. I replied to him since he was manager he WAS responsible for housekeeping & reputation of hotel & as I was saying this he kept interrupting me & telling me to “ have a nice day” instead of listening to me and even trying to apologize. Totally rudely dismissed me. Worst experience ever at any hotel! Choice contacted me after I emailed and said they wanted to make it right but I have no faith in this chain anymore. There is always “ one bad apple” but this was a rotten one. Beware of Richfield Comfort Inn.

The pet fee is $20.00 per night for dogs; $30.00 for cats. There is a limit of two pets. I believe all pet rooms are on the 1st floor. If you make the reservation on the hotel web site, you actually book a pet friendly room; there are usually a few choices. We enjoyed the hotel. They have a nice pet area and plenty of places to go for a walk.
