Detailed Reviews

Our family of seven (kids ages 11, 12, 14 & 16 plus my husband's bachelor cousin), enjoyed a fun week here. We found our unit through vrbo and had excellent communication with the hostesses (who gave us detailed information, a vacation suggestion packet, and a lovely gift basket & cookies upon our arrival). Our three bedroom condo had a king size master bed & bath, a queen, and a family room with two trundle twins and a sofa. Three bathrooms total. Plenty of closet space and a nice dining area and bar stool area. The galley kitchen was a bit small, but adequate for hot breakfasts, quick lunches, and three "in-condo" dinners. There were four TVs in our unit and plenty of space to relax. Ski storage in garage. It was a short walk to the Eagle or 1st time lifts to get to the main base area (and ski school) or a shorter walk to the Silver star lift which was a faster connection to the King Con & Silverlode intermediate areas. The Silver star blue run gets you back to the Silver star lift or if you can ski blacks, 1st temptation has a short path that gets you less than 100 ft from the condo. The condo offers hot tub/pool options at the three kings area, but it was long walk, and we chose not to do it in the cold ski season. The best option for the excellent free shuttle is to walk to the main base area (about 7 minutes). There are shuttles in Old Town every 10 minutes and many options (including the pink line to Redstone, where Smith's groceries and Whole Foods are and shuttles to Deer Valley & Canyons). We didn't need a rental vehicle. We would strongly consider staying here again the next time we visit PCMR.
