This was my first time in Los Almendros, and definitely not the last one.
This was the best stay ever in Playa del Ingles thanks to this amazing resort. As I asked before I was given a quiet room, this room was spotless clean. From the beginning, I was great by the wonderful host Tony and throughout whole my stay I was looking after myself. Bar staff Vasco is one of the best bartenders always happy to help you with your request. And of course, I have to mention Araceli, an amazing lady who makes sure my room is spotless clean every day. This was the best holiday so far in Gran Canarias, thanks to the people in the resort and amazing friendly guests. Looking forward to my next stay.

Loved every Minute of my stay here, i was pleased to find that it was clothing optional. The staff were brilliant and most helpful, the cleaning staff were very thorough with every bungalow and the grounds/gardens were immaculate. Drinks and food were very good and reasonably priced at the pool bar. Los Almenros is in the perfect location for shops and night life. The bungalow i stayed in was very spacious with a TV in the lounge and bedroom plus an iron and ironing board ( not that i needed them as hardly any clothes were worn on this perfect holiday) i enjoyed my first stay so much that i booked again for April 22 and this will be the 2nd of many stays here.

Two stays on two months !!
Excellent levels of cleanliness and service - nice having some limited food available at the bar but guests need to appreciate that staffing issues mean hot food at the bar is available ‘as n when ‘ !
It’s a lovely ‘resort ‘ that is actually quiet despite being opposite cita centre -

We enjoyed the warm welcome by the reception and also that our room was ready although we arrived early. The room was functional and clean, the air conditioning was working very well. We were however disappointed by the fact that - although the video on the website suggests - there is no breakfast served and the shown high chairs in the bar do not exist. The service (bar) opens at 12 noon and the selection at lunch was not great and of poor quality. There were no olives for the Greek salad and it was served with corn instead. The next day, the salad of my husband was again not what we ordered as the barkeeper informed us that he has not all the ingredients, e.g. onions and olives again. There was no love shown in preparing my hamburger and the bun used was not good. But the bar was the bar and the cocktails and drinks were great. We learned therefore quickly that this is complex is better if you cater for yourself or get food outside. The pool was nice, but the plastic mattresses of the sunbeds have seen better days. Overall, we were disappointed and won't be back.

Dear customers, We would have liked to call you by your names but this way it is impossible for us since you do not identify yourself. We understand that you were staying at our resort and for that reason we want to attend your post. In reference to the comments you make about our Pool Bar, we would have loved to address your suggestions and complaints about it during your stay. Our Pool Bar has a breakfast menu, not having published the bar timetable, but you can request breakfast service at any time of the day. In relation to the content of the various dishes that we have on the menu, I inform you that some ingredient of them can change (olives yes or not) but that will never change the essence of the dish. Finally, we are sorry that you have decided not to visit us again because we would have liked to have you hosted again and offer you our best service. Best regards

This is our fourth visit in under two years, so we obviously like the place. The resort is generally clean and well maintained and there have been some improvements to the kit around the pool area (new mattresses and parasols). In general, the rooms are air conditioned and adequately equipped, but quite dated and probably ready for a bit of modernisation. There used to be seat covers on the outside chairs that have been removed, making them very uncomfortable. Also, it would be good to have additional towels to use at the pool. Also, the bedding used to be changed frequently, but ours wasn’t changed for over 10 days, which is not ideal when it’s this warm.

Dear Dr. Chris. Thank you for your comments about our resort, as you rightly say we have been doing improvements, like new beds new bed linen and most have recently been re-painted. As we are a small complex and most of the time we completely booked. We have to proceed as and when we can, but all of the things mentioned are being looked into to update things here. With regard to your complaint about the bedding not being changed in 10 day´s this is not normal our service is once a week, also towels for the pool, any of these things if you had taken the time to ask at the recepcion would have been sorted for you. This was the first time I have stayed at an exclusive resort like this and I really didnt know what to expect. The site is opposite the Cita shopping centre and there is a fence facing the road to make sure that its nice and secluded. The staff are brilliant and are always happy to help. Accomodation is in a number of bungalows distributed around the site - some are around the pool but all have a table and chairs under a verandah and a sun bed. Have to admit I was afraid of getting sunburnt so spent a lot of time chilling in my chair under the verandah but I dont think I've chilled as much on a holiday before. The pool and hot tub are obviously very popular and looked very inviting - I certainly plan to go back and next time I will take advantage of the pool and the hot tub.

We have stayed here many times before and love the fact that it’s always been the most relaxed welcoming and friendly place to stay, it’s immaculately clean and has a lovely warm pool,jacuzzi and friendly ‘ handsome’ bar staff.
It’s a short 10 min walk to the Yumbo centre with some nice restaurants on the way and a similar distance to the beach dunes.
We stayed in a lovey poolside bungalow and will certainly stay here again when we next visit. Clothing is optional for that 'all over tan' and we can not recommend it enough.
The only thing we could fault was that a little more cutlery etc in the bungalow would be useful.
All in all one of the best in playa del ingles.

Very good room with good rooms with good utlities. the hotel room was well kept and we had what we expected. Only a few minuites walk from the beach! unfortunatly the contry went into lock down due to the corona Virus and i can only commend how helpful the staff were in dealing with our questions and helping us with any problems that came up. i cannot praise them enough!

We arrived relatively late, however it was not a problem and a very friendly gentleman checked us in.
The venue is incredibly clean everywhere, the staff do an amazing job, considering how messy some customers must be.
The bungalow was away from the pool which I preferred, the grounds are well maintained.

We stayed here for one week in the start of February, and it was so nice to be back.
Los Almendros is such a nice gay resort without children and stressed parents!
It is also close to the dunes, beach, restaurantes and shops.
The service from the staff is very good. I will especially mention the guys Tony and Christian - they made an extra effort to make us very welcome. I will also mention Vasco in the bar - he really know what good service is, worked hard and made us all feel so comfortable.
The bungalows is very good. The linen on the beds have just been updated which is very good. I personally would have preferred if the pillows have been changed.
Besides that, is Los Almendros a very nice and clean place to stay.
I highly recommend the place and will personally be back asap.

Dear Jason. At first, we feel so sorry for the delay in answering you. According to your questions we inform you that the age group is very similar all year round with ages between 35-55 years old. We have a really mature and funny respectful atmosphere in our facilites. Music around the pool is played for creating relax. Is not loud and we have seen customers using their own headphones enjoying their favourite music. Hope this information can helps you and have the chance of welcoming you in the next future.
