We were so pleased with our visit there. 5 kids, a Mum, and a Gramma all fit very comfortably in the biggest cottage, with room to spare! Fully stocked kitchen, cooking area, BBQ area, all the bedding and linens we needed, plenty of parking, close to town, close to the beach... this place had it all— **Even a cup with my husband’s name on it!** What are the chances?! 😁. We will stay there again on our next trip to the Sunshine Coast!

My husband and I have stayed here several times during the Sleepy Hollow Car Show in August. We’ve stayed both in the small cottages and the double with friends, both are nice. The small ones are ideal for two people; the shower space is a little wee, but ok. The double cottage is spacious, ideal for a family or two. Cottage are always stocked with tea, coffee, whitener, sugar, cereal, there's everything you need to cook with and a small fridge. Beds are comfy, TV and extra blankets if cool. Outside is a nice patio w/view and shared BBQ. Nice spot in the evening to enjoy dinner. The main house is on the ocean with Cottages behind, on the road side, not much traffic noise. Beautiful big deck off the main house overlooking the Ocean, great place to enjoy morning coffees or evening Martini. Cottages are nestled under large Fur tree' so if staying with a Hot Rod or fancy car, bring a car cover, Louise has always offered us the carport which has worked out nicely. Bob & Louise do a wonderful job at keeping the grounds looking immaculate. I have yet to see those lovely Rhododendron’s’ in bloom. I recommend this tranquil spot ~ not to be missed, truly “The Catch of the Day”.

My wife and I stayed in one of the single-room cottages for two nights in June. Not only was our cottage very private, clean and quiet, it is also in an excellent location. Catch of the Day is surrounded by large trees right by the ocean and it's within easy walking distance of Sechelt. Our polite and welcoming host, Louise, took the time to show us her beautiful property and was never too busy to answer questions. The cottage we stayed in comes equipped with a small kitchenette, which has all the basic necessities for a quick meal. We could also use a deck and gas barbeque near our cottage and we could use another large deck overlooking the ocean. We really enjoyed this deck while having our morning coffee. One can easily access the beach from Catch of the Day and walk along the ocean into Sechelt or just beachcomb. The next time we're in Sechelt, we'll definitely stay at Catch of the Day.

We were so excited to stay here, it was going to be the highlight of our trip. We received an email less than a week before we were scheduled to leave from " catch of the day" that they had double booked our cabin for the night..hope we understand. Bye. My husband emailed back to see if there was any other way to accommodate us, EMAIL IGNORED!!! They left us scrambling at the last minute! Not impressed:(

The cottage was a cute as the pictures show. The owners (Louise) is as pleasant as can be. We spent 4 nights in Sechelt and loved walking and climbing the rocks on the beach. High tide was amazing and we hope to visit again in the near future.

The private cottage was great, clean and really well located within easy walking distance to the town. The private deck on the ocean front was massive. We liked basking in the sun on the rocks with our feet in the ocean in what felt like our own private retreat. We certainly recommend this location to anybody.

What a cute cosy cottage! Lots of great renovations like large new bathroom and new natural gas wall heater. We could lie in bed and see the ocean from the large new picture window with screens. Queen bed was very comfy and we slept well as the property is very quiet at night and we loved the fresh ocean air. The firepit was a lot of fun and there is lots of dry driftwood on the beach, as well as a water hose nearby. Amazing view from the oceanfront terraces! We plan to come again for more R&R!

This is a clean sweet little cottage but the bed was abysmal. It wasn't too soft or too hard and definitely not just right. I could feel the springs. It was also disconcerting that the owner spent time trashing previous guests for what they did and didn't do while they were staying.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable, very tiny inside, especially the kitchen area, with a very small fridge, couldn't fit our freezer pack in it and had trouble fitting all our drinks and food in, no room for frozen food at all. We had a small view from our cottage and the offered firepit is just an old tire rim on the rocks, not very inviting, the saving grace is the huge deck with amazing views, however, you need to be fit to do the stairs up and down to the deck. We found it a bit noisy with highway traffic as you are just off the highway. Nice new big bathrooms with lots of hot water, lovely hosts.

"Relaxing and comfortable place to unwind. Cabin 2 had what I would say the best views. Bring a chip clip to hold back the shower curtain if your husband is like mine, loves fresh air and the breeze would blow the shower curtain in as you shower. Other than that it is a must for places to stay at in Sechelt, B.C."
