The room was spacious with a nice view and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. We found ourselves lounging in the pool for 2+hours in the afternoon. The location is fantastic and is a stones throw away from the chair lifts. The only downfall is the grooming machines noise going ALL NIGHT! I had to purchase ear plugs and my husband needed to sleep with his Bluetooth headphones in. We both found ourselves still waking up throughout the night from the noise though.

Went with our adult children and their partners. This year some things were off. The gym was closed in the pine lodge due to them reroofing. We had a gym in out unit but it was never opened.
Hot tubs were never opened in each condo section they were filling them but never opened.
Pools were packed and not enough chairs and the ones that were free were broken.
Our condo was beautiful but many things broken and dirty. The placemats were disgusting we washed them ourselves. One of the queen beds were broken. Fans in the room were broken ( the cords were cut) one of the shelving units in the closet kept breaking.
No mid week housekeeping due to not enough staff but the app says there is.
Will I go back yes because I love the view, the walks and the fact that you get to the mountain and never have to drive anywhere. I hope now that covid is over they can hire more staff so attention to detail can be had.

First snowboarding adventure in many many years and it was great! The hill has many options for those people (like me) who aren't experienced enough to tackle the black diamonds. The resort itself was nice, we were right in the middle which made it easy to get around. The hot pools were lovely after a chilly day on the hill, I will say if you want to fully enjoy them, you need to get there by 3pm, otherwise they fill up with children. Would be nice if they had an adult only hot pool. The only bad thing I can say was the rental process was beyond painful. I waited outside in -25 degrees for over an hour to simply rent a snowboard. They need to get a bit more organized there. Overall was a great trip though!

Perfect for families wanting to get away and be n nature. Also those with lots of energy to burn! Not all accommodations are created equal. All the condos in the upper village are privately owned and rented out by pano resorts. We love the Springs bldg as the pools are attached. Also condos with the pm sun will be much hotter than those not! The older Pines is being renoed and older but most of the condos are well appointed simple accommodations allowing you to make your meals and save money… plus eat healthier. Lots of hikes up the one mile chairlift for all abilities. Pools are loved by kids, bring a couple chairs or a mat. Lots of space if no lounge chairs are free. Or just sit on edge of the pool! The small general store in lower village has everything and reasonable price IMO. Shop atNo Frills on way in… get what you need. Good prices. Special shout-out to the daycare on site. Donna is absolutely amazing! We used them in the winter. They are closed in the summer. They do have some day camps in the summer which do hikes and exploring though! My favourite part is the free underground parking….park day one and don’t drive anywhere for a week! That’s my idea of a holiday! Spend time visiting vs driving. Simple down to earth active vacations! Summer : Walks, hikes, bike rides, pools and time to make nice meals! Love it here! Winter: skiing xc and downhill, hot pools, warm meals and relaxing with those you love! Kids 5 and under ski free, everyone skis free in the very beginner area including the t or button bar. We love it here.

Just finished a stay at Panorama. Let's start with a couple pros. The area itself is beautiful and the discovery centre is fun for the kids.
Cons(oh where to begin); it started with the initial booking. Booked a room at the Pine Inn and was not told there was no AC or a fridge. Found out about this the day before arrival and tried to upgrade but of course, everything was booked by then. They did offer to cancel my booking for free but we needed the room so we kept it.
So we checked in, hoofed it up 3 flights of stairs with our coolers and the room key didn't work. Hoofed it back down the stairs, drove back down to check in. From there the check in clerk was rather rude. Informing me that "my cell phone must have deactivated the keys". I proceeded to tell her that wasnt possible as my phone was nowhere near the room keys but thanks for blaming it on me!
Toilet did not flush properly, gum was stuck to the bedspread (my butt stick to it) and there was gross brown stuff on the coffee packs. By that time we were all exhausted and just went to bed!
In the morning I go to check in to show them the pictures I took of what was going on. Bedspread was replaced quickly but they advised me we would have to leave our room for 3 hours so the toilet could be replaced! 3 hours in the boiling hot sun. Considering you are only allowed to stay in the pool on 1 hour rotations, this was not acceptable.
For the $338+ dollars we spent on 2 nights, this hotel is not worth it. I was so disappointed in our stay that I will probably never go back. From the lack of communication to the rude attitudes, I would not recommend a stay at Panorama.

We are skiing this week at Panorama not knowing what to expect with COVID 19. We are so impressed with everything at the hill. The snow conditions are great, especially for this time of year. You can tell the staff are working hard to keep things clean and reminding skiers in the lift lines to have their masks and face coverings worn properly. There is a variety of terrain open and the pools are clean and kept at appropriate capacity. It has never been safer to ski. Thank you to the Panorama team and staff for a great holiday in the midst of a Pandemic!!

We went to the resort last week. The bed was broken the rooms were sooo hot and the fridge broke. Then our fan in the bathroom broke and they couldnt come fix it because they were to busy so we had to shower in my sisters room because otherwise the humidity was terrible ontop of the 38 degree weather with no AC. The pool was one hour time slots which sucked waiting. We suggested they make a list to sign up for a time but they said they werent allowed to do so, so we had to wait in line for over an hour to get in. Overall the place outside is beautiful just need to work on some things to make it worth the $$.

Just returned from 4 night stay at Panorama and it was perfect. We stayed at the Taynton Lodge in a 1 bedroom and in all our years of skiing this was the best ski in/ ski out we have ever been at. Took advantage of mid week rates on room and lift tickets making it a good value. The Tayton Lodge has amazing location, ski to back door, walk inside and dump skies into ski locker then ride elevator up to your room. Double hot tubs off the second floor were awesome as you dont have to fight the herd over at the Springs. Our 1 bedroom was perfect for 2 with a kitchenette, it is starting to show its age a little but was clean and comfortable. We never moved our car from the underground parking for our entire stay and walked everywhere in the village. We enjoyed the mountain as well, we are not double black diamond skiers anymore but found plenty of blue terrain off Mile 1, Champaigne, and Sunbird chairs. Snow was excellent as well with plenty of goomed trails if that is your thing. Overall great stay and we will be back.

Booked a room at the Pines, be warned it is a dump and falling apart. Immediately requested something better which they were happy to provide at a significant price increase. Next place okay, but not worth the money and no air conditioning. We are visiting in the summer and it is 29.5 C in our room at 9pm. We are cutting the stay short and getting out of Panorama.

Panorama Mountain resort was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay, BUT the Approach hotel was no more than a very expensive youth hostel! Hotel had just been refurbed but seems to be aimed at school trips and young groups… There are zero facilities in the room e.g no coffee / tea making, fridge, hair dryer or safe and the wifi was shocking! We stayed for 10 days and had no housekeeping in that time. So no bins emptied, no new towels, no loo rolls, no bed change or bathroom clean, no clean (plastic) cups for the whole stay. We didn’t even see a housekeeping person! Luckily we changed rooms mid way through (to a slightly larger) which meant we got more loo roll and clean towels! Can’t fault the location as it really was right next to two of the lifts and the magic carpet, but sadly at $350 per night we were disappointed with the hotel. The Fireside Cafe downstairs was lovely and opened at 8am. But without coffee facilities in the room I needed it to be open earlier!
