Somewhat walkable
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
My family had a very pleasant stay at this place last night. Upon receiving check in confirmation by text, we were surprised by a free upgrade from a standard room to a standard + den room. It’s perfect for our family of 3.
We love the unit and its decor, it was spacious and clean. Best part: it’s equipped with everything from TV, fridge to small oven, dishwasher, even has washer and dryer! Much more convenient for family stay in comparison to other traditional hotel!
Paid for private parking which was underground, it’s perfect since we arrived on the night of a snowstorm and had to leave early 6:30am next day for a sport meet.
Had a small issue upon arrival as we couldn’t get room to open with the key app. Property management Varun got it fixed remotely within minutes.
We recommend this place and our family would definitely stay here again when visiting Waterloo!

The Waterloo version of The Laundry Rooms is perfectly located: 3 minute walk to Vincenzo’s for groceries or the Bauer Kitchen for a nice dinner; less than a minute from the Ion light rail system; 5 minutes walk to Uptown Waterloo. The apartment is well appointed with everything you might need for a short or long stay. And the wifi is free, reliable and fast. So 5/5 for 99% of the accommodation. The one downside was the bed in my unit (1506) which was way too soft — like a hammock meets a trampoline. Very disappointing! So 2/5 for that and I hope the LR replaces that mattress soon.

Very satisfied with our overnight stay. Clean and comfortable just like a little apartment. The keyless entry was easy to use and parking was easy to access. Everything close by. We will recommend to others and hope to come back again.

The apartment is clean and fully equipped. Close to the train station. There is a park close to walk and enjoy the day. Beautiful view of Waterloo. It’s close to a cafe & market called Vicenzos for buying food to cook or already cooked. The arrangement to book was easy and customer service A+.

Fantastic rooms, great location, but no on-site service. While the place was very well stocked, all the (included) body wash containers were empty. There were people you could call, but for some things you are on your own. The views and the massive suite for about the same price as a standard hotel room was worth it, though.

Very easy to check in! The place was very aesthetic and simple, which I love! The view is also very nice, if you’re a person who loves looking out into the city night, this is the place to go! Definitely recommend!
Tip: Turn on some Lofi music and you’ll fall in love :)

Best place to stay in Waterloo. Personal welcome and support from Chris. Great location in the heart of Waterloo downtown, can walk to all shops and restaurants. Beautiful decorated condo with all amenities, complete kitchen, laundry appliances, living room, and underground parking. Will definitely go back when in Waterloo/Kitchener area.

The place is spacious, very clean, nice view on the 18 floor, have all amenities stove , fridge, washer, dryer , gym and swimming pool. The host very friendly and was nice. I will definitely go back again . Also the price is reasonable and affordable, it is like a condominium, not like a hotel. Thank you.

Stayed in The Laundry Rooms apartment for almost a month.
Awesome apartment in brand new building with all facilities you need (gym, co-working area, etc), excellent communication with host, exceptional cleaning service & perfect location near the Uptown Waterloo, both great for the weekend visit and long-term stay.

Beautiful room, clean, bed and pillows very comfortable, very helpful staff. Check in is a bit of a process but worth it. Dining and shopping is just a short walk away. Everything was as expected. Had to call for help checking in, my problem not theirs, and they were friendly and helpful getting me all squared away.
