Stayed a few night with my daughter visiting family. Room is very spacious, bedroom area had a ceiling fan which made for more comfortable sleeping. Bed was comfortable and room had extra pillows and blankets if needed.

Hotel is near main roads, but little road noise. Checkin was touchless. The room was thoroughly cleaned. No concerns with any surfaces. TV Remotes were in plastic sleeves showing they were cleaned. Everything worked in room. Ceiling fans made the airflow much better than in most hote rooms. Breakfast was grab and go bag, limited selection but expected with the pandemic. Will definitely stay here again

Beware travelers - Homewood Suites Greece NY does not refresh rooms (make bed, fresh towels, clean bath, empty trash) unless it is requested at the front desk each day.
This was a first - did not realize housekeeping had become an amenity at this Hilton property and will not stay again. Marriott and IHG properties will be checked first before considering Hilton properties for future stays.

Dear Steve, Thank you for your feedback. It only helps us to improve the service we provide. Hilton has transitioned after Covid to a request for clean policy however this does not mean you have request it every day. You can request to have service everyday by telling us once and you will receive service every day. Some guests do not want service everyday so we give the option to tell us what days they would like service. This was somewhat of a new process for us but since your comments we have become very consistent in providing the service that guests want and when they want it. This room was absolutely disgustingly filthy. It had hair and tissue particles on floor. Greece stuck on counter tops and refrigerator handles. Left over food in refrigerator from prior guest I imagine. Rugs disgustingly filthy you stuck to floor. Sheets dirty bedding dirty. Drakes so dirty and soiled did not want to touch them. Heat not regulating. The fact you are on a bottom floor in both suites we were put in for a funeral to attend Nd to find the sliding windows unlocked is such a breach of safety. These two rooms 114 and 116 are so outdated and filthy it is a health concern for certain. There was food particles all over floor, popcorn, Cheerios candy etc... I cannot believe this the Hilton name would ever be associated with this chain of Homewood suites. I am requesting a full refund of both rooms for myself and my son Terence Greene. We stayed Wednesday 1/12/22 a this hotel would never pass a board of health screen. Refund our money and my 45,000 points. Barbara Greene

(Context: Hilton Honors Diamond member with travel experience all over the US and international.) Arrived at hotel only to discover that staff had downgraded us from a regular 1 BR to a Studio, without informing us. Trip back to front desk to correct the issue. Heat didn't work in 1 of the 2 rooms. Electronic lock on room door intermittently jammed. Rooms were otherwise ok. Large crowds of unmasked individuals everywhere, seemingly no attention any more to COVID safety. No receipt e-mailed to us upon checkout, had to call back for that. At checkout, front desk staff was curt and did not even verbalize a "thank you" for staying. Overpriced - the value proposition is not more than $150 /night, would not recommend paying more than that. We will not be returning.

Stayed over the presidents day long weekend to visit the strong museum. My family of four stayed in a one bedroom suite. Our suite was spacious, clean and accommodating. With everything you need in the room. The team who prepares breakfast work very hard to keep items fresh, stocked and clean. Breakfast was very busy with so many families but food and coffee were plentiful. The pool is clean with lots of towels and get checked on often. The front desk team were very friendly and had stuff we needed through our stay…asking for extra bottles of cream, towels and bedding. Overall, we had a lovely time and the kids loved the pool.

Always stay at this hotel never have any problems any time I take my grandson Back to Saint Fisher College that’s where I will stay here for now on with my family when we come back to the football games that will be Our family hotel. Were not told pool is closed all weekend when making reservation. Lobby looked nice and clean, staff was great, but we didn’t stay. We cancelled reservation and stayed elsewhere. The pool for the kids “spring break “ was the reason we chose this location (and usually love Hilton properties).

Our website as with all Hilton hotels has a big banner at the top in yellow labeled Amenities and Service availability. During a recent stay at the Homewood Suites in Rochester/Greece, my room was not cleaned one day. Upon checking out I informed the front desk staff of the issue but at the time the hotel was experiencing a computer outage. The young woman took down my information and said she would investigate and would be in contact. I never received a call so when the final bill arrived by email I called the hotel and spoke to gentlemen. He said that he remembered me because he put in my late checkout request. I proceeded to tell him that there was an issue with that late check out as well because the request was not put in the computer system so housekeep knocked on the door twice that morning. Then I asked if there were any updates on the investigation into why housekeeping did not clean the room on one of the days. He had no idea what I was referring to and said he would investigate and get back to me. As of today, two weeks later, still no response. It is very disappointing that the front desk staff uses the investigation excuse not to deal with a guest complaint.

We stayed here with our daughter and her family in two rooms and had a great comfortable stay. The area was quiet with easy access to several good restaurants. Complimentary breakfast was good with all items regularly restocked. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Pool was small but clean and warm. Like many hotels these days, daily housekeeping is only provided on request.

When I stayed there recently, the evening event began at 5:30 and I think went until 7:30. I have stayed at many Homewood Suites and all have them have offered enough to fill your belly, with wine, beer and themed dinners. Menu will be posted on your fridge. Only offered M-Th, most likely for business guests. One example was sliders, salads fruit. Free cookies at the front desk, if you can get them before they are gone!
