I arrived Friday night for a solo Super Bowl weekend and spent 2 nights at the Gold Coast.
When I arrived to check in at midnight, there was no line. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo and a large counter to put all your toiletries on. The bed was comfortable and there was a sitting area with a table and chair.
For food, I only ate at Friday’s and the buffet. Friday’s has all appetizers for $6 after midnight and are a great deal. I had the breakfast buffet one day and it was okay. Food was hot and the service areas were clean. I only had the bacon, eggs and sliced fruit but the cost of the buffet was less than a muffin and coffee at Starbucks.
The sports book had a vendor stand where you could get popcorn for $1 and hot dogs for $2. The bar in the middle of the casino makes great drinks and the videopoker machines actually have very good pay tables (9/5 JOB for .25). I was drinking Jack and cokes and the bartenders pour from the bottle instead of using a dispenser, so the drinks had some taste to them. Service at the bar and the slots was exceptional. You never had to wait long for a cocktail waitress to come by.
The weather Saturday and Sunday was in the low 70’s. The pool area was open, and the pool was heated so I spent a few hours each day in the pool, hot tub or just sitting in the sun and reading.
This is a hotel and casino that is geared to older people as there is nothing on-site for children to do. I would stay here again.

I’ve been staying here approximately 3-5 times a year for the last 8 years. Every time I arrive to checkin I feel like I’m coming to my second home. My rooms are comped due to my play, and their comp rooms are actually comped, none of that “still have to pay the resort fee” nonsense. The hotel is comfortable, sufficient (were not too fancy), and clean. One time our room smelled like skunk weed, so they moved us rooms and then everything was just fine. My only complaint about the room would be the bathroom doors. If you value any privacy whatsoever in the bathroom then you will have an issue with this. I wish they could just have a normal door on them!! I love the mixture of old and new slots and the different denominations available. I really wish they would put fridges in their room (you can pay to have them brought in). I love most of the cocktail waitresses, unlike in other casinos they are actually out on the floor working hard. We will continue using Gold Coast for our accommodation while in Vegas.

Arrived at the hotel around noon. We got into our room right away. We had 3 nights of com rooms and no resort fees. Our room was on the second floor. Security was always checking if you had your room key. The security employees were always very helpful and friendly fun to talk to. The room was fine very clean not fancy. You had the choice at check-in if you wanted you room cleaned on a daily basis or not. If not you needed to call if you wanted your room cleaned. The floors have long hallways so if you have mobility concerns you might want to request a room closer to the elevator. No masks restrictions in the casinos anymore. You are are suppose to wear a mask if you have not been vaccinated, you are on your honor. I have had the shot. It has a fitness center, I used it. The pool is small, but not many people. The employees were great, the beverage service was excellent and friendly. Marilyn at the front desk was great. Ate at the Cornerstone Steaks House. The service was great and so was the food. We ate there twice. My wife always plays bingo and had lots of fun. Good choice of slots. We had lots of fun and will be returning the second week of August. By the way they do have a shuttle now running to the strip again. 12:00 to 8:00 I think the times are. Thanks again to employees at the Gold Coast for a wonderful job making our stay very enjoyable.

Stayed in March. Restaurants were great. Sports and Race Book were great. We even won on the machines. However, on the first of a three day stay we called maintenance to unplug the shower. He showed up within the half hour and unplugged it! Great, right?! Not so fast though. The maintenance guy went down and told management that there was water on the floor and that there was a plumbing issue (we told him it was from the shower curtain that got wet on the bottom because the tub was filling). In less than thirty minutes the TV shut off, the phone rang, and the front desk told us that we had to move immediately and were given ten minutes to pack and go. Meanwhile they sent up a bellman who stood in the middle of the room and basically was there to intimidate us into moving faster. Good thing we didn't complain because we felt like we were about to be thrown out into the street. Not only were we moved but they charged us for a fridge but didn't move it into our "new" room. Too bad because it's the only thing we will remember about this trip and everything else was pretty great! Since I won't get anything but lip service from some admin watching this page, don't bother responding unless I'm going to get a refund for the fridge.

Some real jerks there gotta ruin it for everyone else.

Got a good rate as it is off the strip but good parking and views. Walk through the casino to get to room. Very convenient though as it can be a self parking. Coffee in the lobby. Off the Strip so be prepared to drive. Parking is a breeze and overlooks the golf course and mountains

This resort/casino was awesome. Very clean room, fast room service, quiet. The restaurants in the casino were really great. There's aa Friday's, and I was able to ouse my TGIF's points for our food. It was a fun open to casino with dining room in the rear. There's also a steak and seafood restaurant, excellent Happy Hour. We were able to use crosswalks to the Rio and the Palms. Uber and cab friendly. This place is so clean, you can't smell cigarette smells anywhere! Huge Bingo with bar and bowling alley. It was just me and husband, and we had so much fun there everyday. Great price, location, jackpots were good too! Cheers! Our trip was just weeks before Covid 19 hit the news, in February 2020.

Room nice and roomy for an upgrade to executive suite. That said, Gold Coast doesn’t honor their own promotions. We received an upgrade promotion, upon arrival, for $76 based on availability. An upgrade room was available and we were charged $150 because the desk clerk moved things around and we weren’t eligible for the upgrade promotion, really. That said, room clean, but has minimal provisions, 1 glass, two small waste cans, and only 25 channels on their TV list. Unfortunately, mostly news channels on nice TVs. In the world of technology, only 25 channels, really. Staff mostly friendly, but front desk staff not too accommodating. We’ll be staying elsewhere in the future.

Stayed at this property because of the price and didn't realize the resort fees basically doubled that. Property is warn and tired, and the room my wife and I were given sent me back in time. Bed was hard, carpet needs replaced. Bathroom was alright (although lots of black hair all over the place) and shower was nice and large. Parking does provide easy access to front desk and rooms so you don't have to go through the casino area. Would I stay again? No. Not with other options off strip that are comparable in price, offer breakfast, and are way more comfortable.

I’ll start by saying I’m a gambler and have stayed at many casino hotels so I know what to typically expect. Our flight was very delayed so it was after midnight when we checked in. Upon arrival it was just as I thought. The casino was in full swing and smoky as all get out, but so were the halls to the room. When we got in the room though, smoky smell I expected but not whatever this smell was! I’m still not sure. Just bad. The sheets on the bed were pulled out on the sides, like they started to make the bed and didn’t quite finish. Maybe that’s what happened because we had 1 pillow each and they couldn’t have been flatter. It’s a company room but splurge for 2 pillows each, come on! In the morning I woke up even to the mattress as the pillow had been flattened to non existence. Also the tv in the room has the least amount of channels I’ve ever seen. I know it’s Vegas and we’re supposed to be out, but I’m in my 40s and like to relax in the room a bit before I start my day. With the bed, and the tv with keno and ABC probably not going to be possible. To make matters worse when we arrived we were late so we were starved. We went to the 24 hour TGI Fridays and although the world is understaffed so I don’t except top notch, this was bad. We waited so long to be sat, so long to order, and the food was just horrible. The potato skins were completely under cooked, like raw potatoes with melted cheese on top and my husband’s wings were so old they had probably been sitting back there from dinner. To his surprise the ribs were ok though. It was so bad I was afraid to try them for breakfast so we booked another hotel who said they could get us in a room and left at 7am. This room was free and the other hotel we booked was $300 for the night so that tells ya something. The two stars are for the waiter, the waitress at the casino they were quick and kind and got me a few needed drinks after our long delayed flight. Also the front desk staff was pleasant when checked out. However, they didn’t ask why I was leaving 2 nights early so I suspect they have seen this before.

We had nothing but trouble with this hotel from the beginning. When I called to book I had a group code to use because we were going there for cheer. The lady helping me said I couldn’t use the code because she couldn’t get it to work. I booked the room (it literally took 45 minutes).
The day we were to arrive I received an email from the hotel to check in early so I did all of that online before we got there. We arrived at the hotel, I went to check in and I was told our room had been canceled. I asked who canceled it and she said I did. I informed her I had not and even went online and did early check in. I stood there for 10 minutes while she tried to figure it out and said it was something on their end and she would just give me my room keys and we could go to our room and she would finish the check in process after she helped the person behind me.
We got up to our room and couldn’t believe how out dated and dirty it was. The carpet was so old and stained we didn’t dare walk around without our shoes on, there was mold growing in the shower and the mattress/box spring sagged and looked like they were going to fall off the bed frame.
When I got home I received an email with the charges for my room which were almost $200 lower than what was actually billed to my card! I called the hotel and they said there was nothing they could do and I needed to talk to accounting. I called the accounting office and she said there was nothing she could do I needed to talk to the reservations department (who had already sent me to accounting). I will NEVER stay here again. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. For what I paid we could have stayed somewhere much nicer!!
