We were on a very specific need of a place that allowed pets and a room with a fridge, all of that on a budget. This place had everything we needed. They have a closed patio where we could walk our dogs and the freezer in our room's fridge actually froze our food (usually those small fridges don't work as well). The sheets / pillows were ok, but a little fabric softener would have been appreciated.

The hotel met our needs at the bare minimum possible. Finding an indoor pool was our main concern and Vegas was packed this weekend. This hotel does provide a pool indoors but you would probably be better off swimming outside in a southern facing pool, this pool was pretty chilly. The pool room needs remodeling and CLEANED.

The rooms was adequate but you don't go to Vegas to hangout in the hotel room. The beds were hard but I surprisingly slept amazing. Lots of people were slamming doors. Our room had no room service hanger and the security lock was hanging off the door frame. I also noticed that the door would get stuck in the open position so you would need to jiggle the hand to get it to engage.

The bathroom had some issues. Our bathtub constantly dripped and on our last night there part of the sinks frame fell off. It looks like it was being held on with silicone. We thought that somebody was trying to break into our room because of the loud bang. We didnt discover what it was until the next morning. This happen sometime in the middle of the night.

The breakfast was a HUGE let down. Brought back memories of elementary school with the paper bag and yogurt on the side. We didn't stay here for the breakfast but we thought it would at least let you pick what you wanted. The coffee they offer was pretty good.

The neighborhood isn't too bad. There are a lot of restaurants around this area and its easy to get to the strip from here. I would recommend parking at the Tropicana for easy free parking. Joes pizza down the street was amazing.

I would have to say the best part of my experience would be the front desk staff that was working nights. I didn't get his name but he was very pleasant to work with. Friendly personality and helpful when it came to things that I needed.

This hotel has a lot of potential with a remodel.

They are also pet friendly. We did not hear any animals barking but we did see some while going through the hotel. The overall noise level was not bad even with the airport nearby.

The hotel personnel are very nice and helpful, but this property needs a deep cleaning and/or renovation. During my stay, the elevators weren't working, and I noticed that the carpets were dirty throughout. The breakfast was acceptable, but for a little more money, you can do better at a Hampton Inn or Best Western.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful. I was able to get off the road from traveling all night and immediately check in. My mask had broken and the man who checked me in, I thing he was the manager, provide me with a complimentary mask and a small travel size hand sanitizer packet with my room key. I thought that was really nice! My room was your basic hotel room. It was clean and smelled fresh. The bathroom was small but clean. However it could use some updating. The price was very reasonable and if I am ever traveling through this way again, I would definitely come back.

When we arrived after midnight from the air port it was great to travel only two minutes to arrive at the hotel. The front desk girl was GREAT! We received a welcome gift with bottled water, nachos, toothpaste and some treats. I really wanted to love this place but then we got to our room. We quickly got ready for bed and then noticed that bathroom was filthy! The carpet had not been vacuumed and the sofa was about 10 years past it’s prime and there is no way a guest would sit on it. We were so exhausted that we checked the bed for bugs and the sheets were clean. We got rid of the two pillows with blood stains on them and went to bed. The bed was good but the room was gross. In the morning I washed the bathroom floor because I would not walk on the floor with the amount of hair that was on it! The washcloth got SO dirty! We did not use the pool area although I liked that it was open 24 hrs a day! The breakfast waffles were bad. How can you get these wrong? The batter was so think that the waffles didn’t cook through and were so pasty and dense. We had to throw them out and we saw other people doing the same. The location is great but improve the housekeeping! Wow! You won’t survive with so many other options in the area!

The customer service was unprofessional employees smelt like cigarettes. The water in the restroom kept dripping!! They kept my security deposit because apparently I was “smoking” and I do not smoke whatsoever. The rooms were not the cleanest. The bathrooms were literally terrible. My roommate and I went down to the front desk and we literally had to wait 30-45 mins for paper plates and towels!! (we never even received the towels.)

The ice machine and wifi was broken the 1st day of our stay. Also we never received back the deposit we were told was refundable even though we left the room in perfect condition. The staff was friendly, the complementary breakfast is a cold breakfast and consists of a Quaker chewy bar, cup of yogurt and packaged blueberry muffin. In of itself is not something I would complain about but given the missing wifi and missing deposit refund, makes me very hesitant to stay here again. I don’t feel the value.

This property is long overdue for a face lift. IT WAS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get. However, if you insist on staying in this dive, plan on going out for breakfast and bring your own pillows. Everything else, in terms of staff, was mediocre at best. This is not a property where you are going to be treated special in any way, shape or form.

Maybe because of Covid-19 and maybe not... this was the only hotel of the 5 that I stayed in during this early April, 2020 trip where there was visible trash in the hallway. The property is tired and in need of refurbishment. On the way to fill the ice bucket I noticed wrappers and other paper trash in the hallway. At first I thought that perhaps a guest had dropped it and shrugged it off. However, when I realized that the trash extended the entire lenght of the hallway, it became apparent that no one had vacuumed in quite some time. The room itself was adequate and of nice size. The faux leather upholstery on the sofa was warn through to the backing. Not pretty, but still functional. The bed itself was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. Two key elements for me. I might recommend as a low cost / budget property if not for the trash in the hallways. Unfortunately, that calls into question the cleanliness of the property as a whole and makes me question the thoroughness of preparation and cleaning of the actual room. Not a fan of Wyndam properties in general, so this Baymont was not shocking, but I would not choose to stay there again.

Dear corvairmaven, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I apologize with the recent lack of cleanliness within the hallways during your stay. It is true with Covid-19 we have limited daily service to the rooms in order to reduce exposure to any potential carriers. We do inform all guests if they require any trash removal to please set outside the door and notify the front desk in order for use to remove it in a timely manner. Unfortunately, not all calls are made. Please know we have increased our patrols to help correct the issue. As for the furniture condition mentioned; We are in the process of replacing those units. It is our goal to continue to improve on our product an service. I do hope you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future. Best Regards!

Booked non-smoking king room. Was given a handicapped king room that someone had been smoking Marijuana in. Told the front desk person it was unacceptable and he insisted it was the room I booked and refused to make it right. I told him I refuse to take a handicapped room away from someone handicapped and he said he could upgrade me, but it would cost more. I told him to cancel it and he said that they would charge a cancellation fee. I am what the heck? You send me all the way out to the end of the property to a room that clearly had not been cleaned and you want to charge me a fee? Had a follow-up from the GM that made it sound like our fault which is completely wrong.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your reservation at the Baymont Inn & Suites. I sincerely apologize for the service not exceeding your expectations. I looked into your January reservation and did confirm that the reservation was booked as an “Accessible” room. Please know this is not about blame nor fault, just simply stating the facts about the booking. We are more than willing to make it right. We do this by offering an alternative room, a reasonable upgrade (if available), or simply correcting the issue by immediately sending maintenance or housekeeping to address any concerns. Which we did offer all of the above. However, you refused the alternative room unless it was a jacuzzi room, which I am saddened to say was not an option at that time. Please know, I have met with all appropriate departments regarding our policies and procedures with handling reservations and room conditions, especially in regards to those who violate our No Smoking Policy in order to help ensure we offer the best service available. Yes, they allow dogs. I stayed here with my dog, and they charged me $100 for an entire week. It's supposed to be $40 a night, but I negotiated a lower total charge as $40 per night is extremely expensive and not competitive. I encourage you to speak with the manager BEFORE you arrive.
