My wife and I visited this amazing ranch for my 70 birthday. The ranch is a hidden gem featuring luxurious cabins in a gorgeous setting with meals and most activities included. The food was delicious and service was great for the most part. We stayed in Sapphire cabin with our two adult daughters. The cabin had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and living room with a fireplace and an outdoor hot tub. Each bedroom had a king bed and bathroom with 2 vanities, 2 toilets and an oversized steam shower. The accommodations were spectacular. Even though we had some issues (involving the air conditioning downstairs, pillows, toilets, food service and activity scheduling), the staff at Triple Creek went above and beyond to address those issues and handle them promptly in an appropriate manner to our satisfaction. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly that we felt right at home throughout our stay from the moment we arrived until we departed. We ate breakfast in our room most mornings because of our full activity schedule. While the food was very good, our most enjoyable meal was dinner, along with the spectacular wine. Of the many activities, we enjoyed horseback riding, archery, hatchet throwing, branding timber wood, hiking and sapphire mining. My daughters also enjoyed white water rafting on the Salmon River in Idaho. I enjoyed an in cabin massage and we all enjoyed eating dinner at the chef’s table next to the kitchen on my birthday. The wine accompanying that dinner was extraordinary. This was the first time I ate antelope loin and it was delicious. I drank one of the best glasses of French Chablis I have ever tasted. The chef’s table was a perfect way to celebrate my birthday. Prior to dining at the chef’s table, we attended a cocktail party at the owner’s home and enjoyed his Native American artwork collection. The home was in such a beautiful setting and the cocktail party offered a great opportunity to meet other guests staying at the ranch. We can’t say enough about the management and staff at Triple Creek. They went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. We highly recommend this resort! We look forward to returning in the future.

This place exceeded all of our expectations! I tried not to get my hopes up too much prior to coming but our stay was better than we honestly could have even imagined. It's hard to capture into words how lovely this place really is. I never wanted to leave and would go back tomorrow if I could.
The property is unbelievably beautiful. The cabins are magical, so cozy, the bed is so comfy, the bathrooms are huge and luxurious, the deck with the hot tub looking out into the woods is perfection.
The food is actually unreal. I had the best soups of my life here and I'm not even a soup person! I started ordering both starters and two desserts because I wanted to try everything. I asked if they would consider making gluten-free chocolate chip muffins for my stay and they had them the next day and for my whole stay! Each day when they cleaned our room we'd return to gluten free chocolate chip cookies (probably the best I've ever had) and photos from our activities set up! OH! And - when we were finished with dinner I was thinking to myself 'if this place was the real deal, they'd have s'mores for guests by the fire'. AND THEY DID. We walked down to the fire after dinner to find s'mores packages with all the things you need and roasting sticks! They think of everything.
We rode horses, did logging camp (hatchet throwing, fire starting, etc), hiking, played tennis and disc golf. We couldn't do trap shooting because of the national ammo shortage (not a fault of the ranch) but it didn't matter because we had the best time regardless.
The most amazing part of this place is the staff. Everyone is incredibly kind, caring, and attentive. Shout out to Rebekah for making the best drinks behind the bar and making our every night fun. We felt like regulars at the local bar where we showed up each night to see our friend Rebekah! Also shout out to Brandon who we were so lucky to have serve us food and get to meet. He kept us laughing and always recommended the perfect way to order a dish. We couldn't wait until the Brandon and Rebekah showed up to work so we could hang out with what felt like old friends.
The live band that plays, Nate and Caroline, wow. They are so talented and their harmonies so lovely. My husband played guitar with them a few nights and we have been non-stop listening to a song Caroline introduced us to.
David the GM was so kind, Carolyn, Sue, Dakota!! I mean honestly everyone we encountered was truly wonderful. You have to go. It was worth every penny and more.

My husband & I vacationed with good friends and after a difficult experience with the airlines, we arrived! The staff was amazing and went above and beyond in their attentiveness to detail, suggestions and overall friendliness. I mentioned how much I enjoyed puzzles and immediately, I was asked if I'd like to have one in my cabin to work on during our stay. Catherine and Dusty stood out however all of the staff was amazing. The dinners were excellent and introduced us to a number of menu items we'd never had (antelope, rattlesnake). Our cabin (Boulder) was comfortable and ALWAYS had snacks, drinks and beer available. Housekeeping has a well-earned nickname, the Ninjas (I thought of them as our Santas), and with good reason. They take pride in visiting with their treats when guests are out of the cabin. We discovered their secret one morning when we were leaving for an excursion. Our staff member walkie-talkied that we were leaving and explained that when the guests from a cabin are seen away from their cabin, the Ninjas are notified. The attention to detail at Triple Creek is something I've never experienced at any other accommodation.
One other note is that the owners of TC were beyond gracious. Because we had arrived a day late, we missed the cocktail/art hour at the owner's home. We fully expected that it was an experience we would have to return to enjoy; instead the staff checked with Mr. & Mrs. Barrett and rescheduled the 4 of us to tour later in the week. Mr. Barrett met us at the door, poured us glasses of wine and couldn't have been more welcoming.
We would return in a heartbeat!

This was our 3rd visit since 2017 and each time gets better. Perfect place to go with another couple because activities are fun together. Share a two bedroom cabin (we have stayed in Aspen,Paradise & Sapphire) and you still have plenty of privacy. Food and accommodations always excellent. The staff from top to bottom (from pick up to drop off in Missoula) made us feel like VIPs every moment of our stay.
You can enjoy the great vibe and beauty of TCR doing practically nothing or fill your days with activities. A new activity was the logging camp which was incredible fun. Thanks Dusty. The riding experiences are exceptional. A special shoutout to Alli who took us on an incredible cross country ride and a stunningly beautiful lunch ride. The horses are as nice as the wranglers and that is saying a lot. Catherine in the experience center will do her best to make sure you get the best possible experiences.
Whether chilling in your hot tub or one of the beautiful locations around the property you will be in a perpetual relaxed frame of mind. If you find yourself at the lounge, you can order snacks or food and Patty is an experienced mixologist who can craft an awesome drink using high end top shelf (all inclusive) liquor. There is an extensive wine list for beautiful wines from around the world. Matt and Lauren are very knowledgeable. You can also do great enjoying wine from the all inclusive list.
We have visited in May, December and August and it is truly an all season paradise with each season having it’s own benefits.

We stayed for two nights in July and we were blown away. We had the Pindler cabin which appeared to be one of the more secluded cabins and had private deck with a hot tub looking to the woods. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed the complimentary activities. The best part of the experience was feeling like there were no rules or limitations on the all inclusive nature of the stay. We arrived early the first day to squeeze in more activities and were given a packed lunch to take when we left. You can order as much food or drinks as you want, and they will even provide you with a bottle of whatever you want to take to your room. The staff and servers were incredibly welcoming. You are given a golf cart to drive during your stay that we used to explore the property and search for elk. The one thing we struggled with was the limited reliability of the wifi connection.

TCR is everything all the previous reviews have already mentioned and then some! My wife and I stayed for 4 nights (Oct 9 - 14) to celebrate our 25th anniversary. From the first lunch before checking in to the packed to-go lunch while checking out, everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed at the Sugar Bear cabin and truly enjoyed the fireplace and spa especially since temperatures dropped into the 20's. As mentioned in several reviews, housekeeping was truly exceptional and were never seen . . . however, every time we returned to the cabin, everything was clean . . . fruit (apples), drinks (water and soda pop) and snacks (cookies, trail mix) were replenished and a new gift bag was left every night. A very nice touch were the printed pictures that were taken by TCR staff that were left in the cabin each night. A USB of all pictures taken are given at checkout.
We thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities offered by TCR. Paige and Bailey were awesome horseback riding tour guides . . . Quentin taught us both how to fly fish . . . Dakota led us through logging camp (fire building, hatchet throwing, compound bow archery, log sawing, and branding souvenir Montana shaped coasters). We also hiked and ran the mountain trails (which are plentiful).
As an example of how great the service was, just 18 hours before wanting to 're-propose' to my wife at the Viewing Bench at the ranch, Katherine at guest experiences lined up their professional photographer to memorialize the event. It was a moment that neither of us will ever forget. Jessica, TCR's photographer, took several pictures in 30 degree weather without any complaints and accommodated everything I had hoped for. Lastly, the food is as great as everyone has previously mentioned. For breakfast and lunch, there is about half the menu that stays every day with the other half something different. Dinners were exquisite (had antelope for the very first time!). the complimentary wines, beers and liquor were plentiful. I would highly recommend trying all of the local distilled products such as the craft beer and bourbons! I could go on and on about how great of a vacation this was and how the staff at TCR truly made us feel special. A special shoutout to Katherine, Lynda and Kassidy at guest services who entertained our every wish! Wish it didn't have to end!

We came here for a four night stay. It started out a little bit on the rough side because some of our activities were not confirmed. However the staff did whatever they could to accommodate us. All worked out in the end and we had a very good stay. The staff was absolutely amazing. The food and beverage was also very very good. I liked the cabin but I would’ve appreciated a little bit of a bigger room. The location of the resort is very nice because you can go on your own hikes and you don’t really need any guiding. As all the activities are included I would recommend to book the activities as soon as you have your room confirmed. Also make your dinner reservations early. There’s really nothing else to do around the resort so you will stay in the resort 100% of the time. We will definitely come back.

Wow, just wow. We normally travel out of the country for vacation but during this whole virus situation, we decided to travel to Montana and picked Triple Creek Ranch. I am so glad that we did. The property is very beautiful and we stayed at the Bitterroot cabin which was a one bedroom cabin with a Jacuzzi on the back deck. The food there is fantastic and all of their drinks. And the staff is remarkable and so nice.
We did a lot of activities, such as horseback riding, ebike riding, floating down the river, trap shooting, archery, etc and eating and drinking of course.
We will definitely be back!

After reading all 407 reviews, our expectations were really high. This place does not disappoint. They learn about you from the very first phone call to make reservations. They are extremely attentive, answered my calls every time, replied within minutes to 24 hours on every email. They are really lovely people and want to please you. This place is really special. The ranch is beautiful, the food and drink were plentiful and delicious. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, and all teams work really well together. The cabin shower had a separate heater for heated walls & floor. The vanity areas had a separate heater, and the toilet had a separate heater which we loved. We will be back. The guests were awesome too! I had to think really hard to give a critique. But I found 3.
1. I would have loved a full-length mirror in my cabin.
2. I would have liked some after dinner events. Everything was in the morning and afternoon.
3. This might sound nerdy, but I would have loved a square dance class in a barn.
Knowing this place, they will probably have all three on our next visit! Goodbye for now TCR. I would like to thank all of you for making our vacation memorable and special.

My husband and I vacationed at Triple Creek Ranch at the end of September. It was a perfect break from our Florida heat. The ranch resort vacation was exactly what we needed. Triple Creek Ranch is a beautiful ranch resort and we loved every minute of it! Very high attention to detail in every aspect they do! We stayed in the Chipmunk Cabin which we loved. Spacious, secluded, very comfortable bed, housekeeping services were on point, awesome private hot tub, wonderful deck sitting area to enjoy wildlife as it passed by (including deer, elk and turkeys)! All meals (new menus daily) were DELICIOUS and fantastic! Hands down some of best meals/food that we have had at a resort! We also chose to do the private Chef's Table Dinner with wine pairing and highly recommend it. Every course of that dinner was amazing! We thought the offering of activities (both the ones included and the extra ones) at Triple Creek Ranch were perfect. We signed up for the Horseback Riding, Mountain Biking, Scenic Drive, Forest Walk, Logging Camp, In-Cabin Couples Massage, Sapphire Panning (watch out it's highly addictive), Disc Golf and the all day ATV Adventure. We really maximized our stay with the amount of activities we did, but also had down time to just relax and enjoy the surroundings as well. And to top it all off, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff was exceptional! We highly recommend Triple Creek Ranch and have already told so many friends and family about putting it on their list to go to! We cannot wait to return in the years to come, maybe during the Winter months to enjoy some snow activities! Thank you again Triple Creek Ranch for an outstanding vacation!

Hello, what a great question! We typically suggest intermediate to experienced riders for these activities. However, if a guest is comfortable and can make the horse stop, go, turn left, turn right and keep it from eating, a beginner would be okay as well. Prior to departing for these adventures, we do require all riders engage in a ‘pre-ride’ to help assess readiness, skill-level, & comfortability, as well evaluate each guest’s riding style for proper horse assignments, etc., to ensure the safety & enjoyment of both horse and rider. I do encourage you reach out to your pre-arrival concierge with any further questions or concerns you may have regarding the available activities during your stay!

On average, our guests generally wear casual day clothes they are comfortable in, and can have fun in while outdoor adventuring. Many can be seen in jeans and a comfortable top, sweater, or in the winter time even some snow pants or overalls.
For dinner, some guests opt to freshen up for the night just a bit, while others may be just returning from on off-ranch adventure and head-in with what they wore that day.
In April our average temperatures also vary while spring is still on its way, and can still be quite cool in the evening, so it is important to bring layers to adjust to changing temperatures & a coat for added warmth and protection from the elements.
