Spent one night here after spending the day exploring Old Town Portland. It’s about 20 minutes from the city center but was a much more reasonable price on the weekend The downtown hotels were twice as much. Nicely appointed, staff wore masks and sanitizer was readily available. I would definitely stay here again.

I was bumped off a flight and Delta put me up at this hotel for the night
I give this review 5 stars primarily because of David at the front desk. He was exemplary. Made sure I had everything I needed as my luggage was already checked and left on the plane- and he kept me informed with all the information I needed on where I could shop in the area.
My room was very quiet although it was a Sunday night b I had a nice tree top view
The shuttle the next morning was right on time, and Shea the driver was so helpful and pleasant-especially for that hour of that day!
The only drawback is I feel that Marriott could’ve offered a complementary coffee in the lobby in the morning instead of charging $2.

We traveled here for the holidays during a big winter storm. David at the front desk was incredibly helpful moving my reservation a day earlier. It provided us with helpful information and we arrived prepared thanks to his advice. Our flight was over two hours late and we didn’t get to the hotel until 3am (without bags)where we were greeted by Kiley who was so warm and so pleasant. The shuttle had stopped running and she kindly reimbursed us for our Uber and hooked us up with extra toiletries to get us through until ours arrived. In the morning we had breakfast with Patrick. Patrick is a gem. He is bright and kind and clearly loves his job. Thank you all-you made our wild journey so much easier.

I travel for business and have stayed at many hotels in the Portland area. The Courtyard by Marriott Portland Airport is by far the most convenient with quick and easy access to both 295 and I-95. The hotel shuttle service is convenient for downtown.
The staff are all very friendly and professional. The only negative is that it seems very understaffed. Alice who checked me in was also tending the Bistro both nights I was staying. She was all smiles and chatty, I never once felt rushed when speaking with her and she seemed to take it in her stride but watching her run from bistro to front desk every couple of minutes to answer a phone, check someone in, pour a drink, take an order, cook food… was just crazy. How can an individual be expected to manage multiple areas at one time? I know I couldn’t do it, yet she did it with such a positive attitude. I’d be honored to have someone with that type of dedication work for my company. I have written to Marriott as all to often these days you only hear negatives about employees, Alice deserves a positive! I look forward to staying again soon and hope to see more staff on

I travel for work and have stayed at many hotel's. This place is my favorite! The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. During this time with Covid this hotel has gone above and beyond,keeping it clean and safe. You will not be disappointed. Everything was great. The mobile check in worked seamlessly and I had my virtual key activated right before 3pm check in. The staff was wonderful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was large with very hot water and great pressure. There was a shuttle to take us to/from the airport and to the Courtyard in downtown Portland. the public spaces were very nice including an outdoor area to enjoy the sunshine. Overall the hotel surpassed our expectations and we would absolutely return!

When we arrived around dinner time we were greeted by no one at the front desk and a sign saying someone would be with us shortly. Many minutes later a staff member dressed in jeans, sweatshirt and beanie greeted us and checked us in. He was friendly but never informed us that the hot tub was not in working order. Once we arrived at the pool area and realized this we inquired but he said it had been out of order for quite a while. He said he would send a message to a manager who I guess was not on site. We never heard from a manager. I understand that things happen, however, nothing on the website had indicated the hot tub was closed and this was a primary reason we picked the hotel. The room was fine and the staff friendly but it is unacceptable that we never got to speak to a manager and I believe that we should have received some sort of credits or points for our inconvenience as Marriott bin boy members.

This is one of the most accommodating Marriott properties that I have stayed at in quite some time. Very convenient to PWM and downtown Portland. The property is undergoing renovations and I stayed in a newly renovated room. First, the renovations are being undertaken in an unobtrusive way. Kudos to the management and staff for that. Second, as for the staff, everyone we encountered was helpful and extremely friendly. We stayed at the property during the most recent spring snow storm and the staff did everything they could to be as helpful as possible and very understanding of our concerns in attempting multiple times to fly out of PWM. We return to Portland often and will certainly make this our preferred property.

Every summer, for the past 5 years, I fly from Detroit to Portland with my son to drop him off at summer camp. We have found the Courtyard Portland Airport to be the perfect home away from home. The location is perfect, easy to get on to the freeways, and close to the Jetport. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. I always book my room here without considering other hotels around the area because I feel I would be disappointed if I stayed elsewhere.
I have a soft spot in my heart for the lovely Irish gentleman, Patrick, who runs the Bistro in the morning. He remembers me every year and makes us a delicious breakfast from scratch. He’s so thoughtful and I look forward to seeing him every summer.
My son’s favorite after camp activity is candlepin bowling which is not available in Michigan. And my favorite place for lobster rolls is Bite Into Maine, I enjoy their Picnic Style (with coleslaw, celery salt and butter) the most, however all the styles are great!
I advise summer travelers to book your hotel rooms way ahead of time. Maine is an incredible state to visit and many visitors from around the world do just that. I personally look forward to returning every summer to enjoy its natural beauty.

Due to multiple delays in our flights, we arrived at the Portland Airport at 2 am. Couldn’t find a taxi or Lyft/Uber, so called the hotel to ask about options. Darren answered and was so helpful; gave us the number to a taxi that arrived 5 mins later. When we got to the hotel, Darren met us at the door and had our keys to our room all ready to go. When he heard that our luggage was lost, he scrounged up clean clothes for my children to sleep in, toothbrushes, toothpaste and said if we need anything just ask. He truly was a lifesaver!!! Made a horrible situation bearable. 5 stars all day long!

We do not have entertainment at the property, but we are only 6 miles from the Old Port where you would find live entertainment

All you would need to do is call the hotel once you are ready to be picked up and we will provide transportation back to the hotel. We do have a Park and Fly package that may fit your needs if you are leaving your car here for 7 days. We also have a seperate booking site if you are interested in paying for parking seperately and leaving your car here for a more extended period of time.
