The location was in a very convenient location and was quite clean. Stayed 2 nights at the end of our trip where we would be gone for the majority of our day in day trips. The bed was comfortable, would have been nice to have a thicker blanket and an extra pillow. Nice to have a mini-fridge in the room for snacks and drinks - motel did not have a corkscrew for us to borrow but there was lots of options for stores around the motel.

The front office was decorated nicely and check in was quick and easy. The hotel has a cute Palm Springs vibe. The room was good except for the bathroom. It was small and in poor condition. Definitely needs a remodel and should not available for booking at this time.

The front office was nice and check in was quick. The hotel itself has that Palm Springs look. The area with the beds was nice but had some outdated furniture. The bathroom was in poor condition and desperately needs updating. All the light switches were dirty.

Thought the reviews were good for this place but didn’t notice there were so few reviews. It’s not clean, there was hair, dust, dirt on the floor. Kept my shoes on. Very weird kitchenette area with a microwave, ironing board and some random pots (?). And a couple mismatched plates, cups, measuring cup and other odd utensils sitting in a dish rack. Looked unclean, no sponge or dish rag insight.
The bed linens seemed clean as did the bathtub- thank goodness- otherwise we would have left.
Could hear noise from the street although it quieted down later.
It was cheap for Palm Springs - you get what you pay for.

A mixed review because if I was to review the hotel facilities only it probably would have reached 3-4 stars - probably even 5, I knew what I was paying for and it met those basic standards.

Red haired lady who checked us in was nice, that is the only positive thing I will say about their customer service, its how they deal with issues that is a BIG problem.
Stayed here for 1 night in September, it is a motel but from research one of the cheaper in a very expensive area. It was fine for us for just one night passing through.

On check in, nice red haired lady couldn't find our reservation but I had a confirmation and a room was found for us. Hotel had aparently been taken over since i'd made the booking 9 months earlier. I had paid in full at the time of booking.

On entering the room it smelt of smoke, as **NON SMOKERS** we can normally smell it even if a faint smell, I immediately reported to reception on our way out and even though we are **NON SMOKERS** (and do find it disgusting - sorry smokers) I decided it wasn't too horrendous I just didnt want them to think it was us (BECAUSE IT DEFINITELY WASN'T!) and asked for some air freshner which they gave me. No problem, I think I was fair here.

Why did I accept the smelly room - We had arrived later in the afternoon from the UK and I knew i'd be awake at 4am, we were planning on going up the Aerial Tramway for the evening to stay awake and I could cope with the ciggarette smell for the few hours i'd be in the room/asleep. It was a mild smell and was probably mixed with a slight smell of bathroom too so was just a 'smell'. Airfreshner helped me to fall asleep and it didn't keep me awake.

We had our overnight stay. The room, apart from the ciggarette smell was ok. Bed was comfortable, had fridge, tv, bathroom was a good size - I think we were in the adapted room so plenty of space. Pool area looked ok but we didnt use it.

As expected awake mega early we checked out before the front desk was open so didnt speak to anyone.

On return to the UK 3 weeks later find a $250 charge on my credit card. Wondering if they'd mistakenly charged us because we'd paid in full to the previous owner I contacted the hotel and this is where it all goes wrong.

I was told I had been charged the cleaning charge for smoking in the room, they aparently found ash and later said they'd found a ciggarette butt.
**WE ARE NON SMOKERS**
I tried to communicate with them, called once spoke to a man who would look into it and get back to me. Nothing the next day so I called again and was half way through leaving a message when someone, a female, answered the phone and claimed to be the manager (RETRAINING NEEDED HERE) and she completely talked over me, wouldnt let me speak, wouldnt let me tell her we were non smokers, she told me (talked over/shouted at me) that i had to call back and speak to the owner in 2 hours.
A good manager should listen to the customer. I was distraught, I felt they had stolen from me, no-one was listening to me. Several calls made to an answer machine that were screened and never responded too.
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Trying to then sort out has been a nightmare. A couple of unprofessional responses emailed to my husband and at least 6 emails now not even responded to.
My husband asked for evidence and was sent one generic photo of a ciggarette butt on a floor, no other identifying marks, this could have been in any room, at any time, anywhere and absolutely did nothing to prove it was us. Which it wouldn't have done anyway because we are **NON SMOKERS** and actually choose hotels making sure they are non-smoking in the fiest place!

The situation is currently with my credit card company and as of yesterday it looks like we have the money back on the card.

This whole situation was disgusting, caused so much stress and should never have happened! I would wholly recommend you avoid this hotel only because of this reason, they are thieves and their management staff need to undertake training on how to actually be a manager.
If you want to chance it and are on a budget the rooms are ok, basic motel room. If not pay a bit more and go anywhere else.

Will also add, we stayed in approx 15 hotels this holiday and this is the only one we had a problem with.

This was the third time we stayed at this mote, albeit under a different namel. On arriving there we found it was under new management so we were just a little apprehensive - we need not have been. It was up to the usual high standard. From a friendly reception through advice on the best eating places in town. We had a ground floor room opening out into the pool area. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and quiet. Never been disappointed staying here, would not consider staying anywhere else when in the area.

Visited with the family for a few nights during our tour of California and I have to say from booking through to leaving we were extremely satisfied with our stay.

We were greeted by Bella, the manager (who was really helpful throughout, especially with recommending restaurants!) and our rooms were maintained well during our stay. The location was perfect to get anywhere in Palm Springs and the value for money was excellent!

The hotel / motel is conveniently located and offers an incredible view of the mountains. The staff at the desk greeted me cheerfully and was extremely friendly! He went out of his way to show me where to get a nice dinner, where to park, where to get breakfast, etc. and he was just overall very nice!

The room in itself was very basic, especially the bathroom was tiny and outdated (everything was really clean though!), the bed offered a good night's sleep as well. The room has a little kitchenette, with a microwave and fridge. They have vending machines and ice (the ice machine was broken, but there is a liquor store just next to the hotel, so no worries there) and they also offer a washing machine and dryer. There is good wifi and TV.

My room had a view of the pool and the mountains in the background, which was very nice. Unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy the pool, but it looked inviting.

This is definitely one of the most basic hotel / motels I've stayed at, with no breakfast. However, as it was only a stopover on my way to LA, I didn't mind. If I had to stay here for a longer period of time, I would probably have picked a different place to stay. But like I said, excellent stay for just a night. Not in the centre of Palm Springs, but as most people will have a car, only a few minutes away!

The big issue I have had in Palm Springs is that a number of motels there take in seriously messed up crack addicts. These motels (and they are well known brand names) need to decide if they are going to be drug rehab centres OR motels. The noise and open drug use is astonishing. They can't be both drug addict crash pads and motels. We have spent many many thousands of dollars in the past using these brand name places but from now on we are being mega hyper vigilant about where we stay. One giveaway is ancient car wrecks in the car park. Keep driving.
