I’ve stayed at the ITC Chola In the Towers last year for over two weeks and was extremely impressed with all the room appointments, the multiple gyms, beautiful pool and exquisite details and decorations. When I checked into the hotel last year I was greeted and assured by Masud whom is still here and remembered me from last year. He was simply amazing as are so many of the staff, many of whom are still here from last year. My room is located in the residences area this trip and the suite has been extremely well maintained, cleaned and properly stocked by Banty and Islam who greet me every morning and ask if my room is comfortable and if they can do anything else to make sure my stay is memorable. It’s the little touches I’ve been experiencing that make this hotel 5 stars and outstanding in service. While at the ITC China I generally eat all my dinners at Pan Asian - I just like the quality and variety of food and the service - Ajay and Manoj have each provided me and my co-worker with outstanding service and are both extremely attentive to our dining needs creating a fantastic evening. I’m enjoying my 8th meal here so far.

Apart from just a beautiful, luxury hotel ... from the stunning marble atrium and again in your bathroom, to the well laid out high tech rooms (everything controlled by the iPad) it’s the customer service that stands out. From a welcoming smile when you first arrive, to the switched on bell staff, porters and attentive reception staff. A special mention goes out to Habeeb and Vaishnavi (the concierge) who could not do enough answer my countless questions. They went out of their away to help and give local recommendations and advice. Small things like letting me know how much a taxi should cost on my return makes a huge difference. They also know where to go for that amazing massage or good shopping experience. Finally, housekeeping deserves a mention, the rooms are spotless and lots of effort has gone into the small details of having everything ‘just right’ when you walk in the door. The ITC Grand Chola Chennai provides a luxurious stay, even during these challenging times.

It was pleasant experience and felt very safe during my stay. The hotel is a very large five star property located near Raj Bhawan in Guindy. It is about 6 km to the airport. It is not far from the city, but easy to travel to the software offices in OMR.
They have rooms as well as apartments. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Online booking is a bit tricky on some sites. If you ask for one room, they do not show 2 bedroom apartment. If you ask for two rooms, the site shows two 2 bedroom apartments. Then you have to go through phone or mail.
Again the websites also play their games. Hotels.com showed price as 17000 plus taxes and gross for two nights at 45000 whereas the base price is 19100 to bring the gross to 45000. They want to show it as a low price.
The grandeur of the property starts with the lobby. You see a grand staircase as you enter. At night the chandeliers are reflected beautifully on the marble floor. We were swiftly shown to our apartment.
The apartment has a kitchen and living room flanked by two bedrooms on each side. The kitchen has an induction stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, washing machine and a kettle. The bedrooms are comfortable, so are the bathrooms.
The hotel has a coffee shop, a vegetarian restaurant, an Italian restaurant and a bar. They also had a spa. They also had a yoga class. The residences section had a separate gym and a separate porch.
My booking included a free breakfast. The breakfast spread was elaborate and tasty. They had western bakery items, North Indian, South Indian as well as healthy alternatives. The service was good.
Overall a grand hotel with a pleasant experience.

Stayed in Tower Room,for 2 nights, and this is the second stay in ITC in the last 3 years. The team is very responsive, and ensure all minute details are taken care for guest comfort. We had our launch event in the Rajendra Ballroom, and the team ensured all our guests were taken care. The buffet dinner for almost 600+ guest has been taken care without any glitch by the entire team throughout the event.
I would like to appreciate the team led by Jayasuriya and other team members,Sital, Velu, Ravi, Bhaskar, Adharsh, Narayanasamy, Selvam, Santosh, Harish, Satya, Gokul, Lovlin,Suraj.

After perusing several options throughout the city, including several restaurants specialising in authentic Kerala cuisine, I decided to settle for Chef Srinivas’ (curator) Onam Sadhya from ITC Grand Chola. To begin with, the menu was well-balanced in its composition, was grand enough without being excessive. The process of placing the order through Mr Rohit Bhat, the F&B concierge, was seamless and prompt. My entire correspondence with him was on WhatsApp and his turnaround time was exceptional. This pandemic has changed the way we dine, but it seemed as if Mr Bhat had managed to translate the hospitality and courtesy of a concierge so ably to adapt to this new digital normal. The delivery was punctual and exactly within the promised window of time. This to me, is one of the most important factors in food delivery- punctuality and ITC more than delivered on this score. In addition to its punctuality the delivery of the food was also sanitary and clean, as is imperative in the current scheme of things. The packaging was par excellence. I’m someone who adores intelligent, mindful and sustainable packing. The food came encased in a carton (emblazoned with Happy Onam and other art work) containing neatly labelled and sealed individual paper containers of food. The packaging, like a precursor to the food, was a visual treat. A pure point of customer delight. That the hotel has been able to manage such thoughtful processes in such uncertain times and adapted with so much prowess is remarkable. As for the question of the food: This was by far one of the best Sadhyas I’ve had. It was humble in its preparation, yet grand in its assembly. The flavour of every dish was bang on. It felt as if great pain was taken to make every individual item and it came through in every bite I took. My personal favourites were the kaitaccakka pachadi, the parippu pradhaman and the pal ada pradhaman. But this isn’t to say that the throran, the kalan, sambar, rasam, sambaram, kootu curry weren’t all great. Each dish was delectable. Each dish managed the contrary dichotomy of simplicity and richness. I would love to thank Mr Shariq Akhtar for overseeing my entire experience. I hope this review is a testament to just how much every member of the hospitality industry deserves to feel valued. Thank you so much for keeping us going in times like these and offering us experiences that allow us to feel some semblance of our old life.

The location is ideal for sightseeing and visiting the city as a tourist. We were warmly greeted by check-in staff. Hotel stay is very hygienic and safe during this times. Breakfast buffet was fabulous, with several hot and cold options. Rooms are large, luxurious and neatly sanitised.Habeeb, the Concierge is extremely helpful for tourists to help find the best ways to see the city and surrounding area with maximum safety measures. Consistently provided great advice.Would definitely stay here again when I return to chennai.

Had a great stay in this ITC property, reception staff were excellent and very welcoming, The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and informative! Great room service (the food is actually pretty tasty, particularly for room service). The hotel rooms and lobbies were properly sanitized and maintained, felt safe in itc during our stay. The concierge Habeeb was professional and helpful with directions and recommendations especially during this pandemic situation and also he helped me with booking our train tickets. It was a very nice stay at a property!

From the moment we walked in the entrance to the ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, we were thoroughly impressed. The interior decor was upscale yet warm and inviting and the personnel we encountered were all very pleasant and accommodating. The decor of our room was crisp and comfortable and wow, what a pleasant stay. I did have breakfast in the morning and enjoyed it very much. Great selection for a good start of the day and very friendly service.. The bathroom was very modern and clean, with extra towels and toiletries and a nice shower. I especially loved the wooden tiles on the bathroom floor as well as the glass door to the shower which you could close properly so that no water would splash all over the bathroom. Internet worked perfectly and the staff at reception spoke both Tamil & English very well. We are eternally grateful & special thanks to :- • Ms. Brinda Das – Guest Relations Manager We just wanted to let you know how much we valued that effort, how impressive and gracious and how greatly we appreciate everything that you personally did. After a busy year in my med school I planned to visit India , and I got quarantined in ITC chola - I felt like heaven on earth , fantabulous service, amazing food. And I really appreciate their contactless mode of payment , delivery of food and stuffs, plus their sanitization measure is really great. Help desk is always available 24/7. And they also provide thermometer to keep check of our temperature which is really good .
