The hotel staff were extremely polite and accommodating. The room was cleaned every day and they gave us plenty of fresh clean towels on the daily and restocked shower gels, shampoo and conditioner. The hotel was immaculate and breakfast was perfect to set you up for the morning giving options of pastries, breads, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, jams, cereals and yoghurts.
We literally couldn’t of asked for more and would 100% consider staying here again in the future.
Thank you for an excellent stay!

The Trevi Fountain was extremely overcrowded but if you want to get to enjoy it without the crowd then I suggest you set the alarm clock for 6.30am, by 7am the crowds started to trickle in.
Tickets must be purchased online prior to visiting the Colosseum (Coopculture.it) and Vatican Museums (GetYourGuide and you must download the GetYourGuide App).
The colosseum, you can’t enter more than 15mins before your ticket time. Once activated by the ticket person, it will last 24hrs.
The Vatican City, depending the direction you arrive, we arrived facing St Peter’s Basilica, then you must walk through the arches to right and follow the external Vatican walls all the way round to the entrance. There are stewards (unfortunately not in uniform) that can direct you. It’ll take approximately 10mins. I would give yourself two hours travel time from the hotel if you are walking.
The hotel offers a private transfer to and from the hotel at an additional cost. We couldn’t fault the service, very helpful, polite and communication via email was responded to in less than 24hours.
Breakfast at the hotel, was just as expected in Italy, it was lovely and sufficient with plenty of choice from continental to cooked options.
We travelled as a family of 9, my husband and son had a street facing room, view was lovely but the evening noise not so much, some of us that had rear facing rooms and we didn’t experience noise unless it was from a returning evening guest. Other than that rooms was fabulous, comfortable large beds. Modern bathrooms with powerful water pressure showers.
The hallways are very rustic, steps feel slightly uneven but if you’re not good with this there is a lift.
There are so many wonderful little restaurants in the vicinity - not cheap but these prices are to be expected - we loved Locanda which was 2-3 doors away and Ristorante il Barone.
Most restaurants must be booked, you can stroll by and request to book of an evening other than that you may have to queue until a table becomes available.
I can’t think of anything else but feel free to message me with any queries!
We stayed here over night to take a quick look at Rome before we headed to board our cruise ship.
The hotel staff were excellent with providing information just about anything we need.
The hotel is located very close to all the attractions and walk distance to metro/subway system so very easy to get around either walking or taking public transit.
Due to the good/pedestrian filled location, it’s a little hard to drive vehicles right to the entrance of the hotel but it wasn’t a big deal. Our airport transfer driver was able to drop us off at about 1 min away walk distance.
The room is a little small compared to most North American hotels naturally due to how crowded this city is but I think that’s probably a norm in most of the older European cities.
Breakfast that’s included in my booking was delicious as well!
I would stay here again in the future.

But wow I can not reccomend this hotel enough, when we arrived we were early for our room the staff were all friendly and helpful they took our luggage so we could go explore luggage free.
The room we had was perfect spacious, plenty of room for me and my husband our room came with an air conditioning unit which we were hugely thankful for lol as it was unusually hot. Our room was cleaned and new towels put in every day while we're here.
The breakfast was lovely lots of choice from cereal, fruit, pastries, rolls, cakes, hot breakfast-scrambled egg, bacon and sausage, toast. Fresh juice, coffee and tea. Could not fault the staff they were attentive and friendly happy to help.
Let's talk about location I seriously could not of asked for a better location of our hotel, it was 25 mins walk from the train station. Literally 1 min walk from the Trevi fountain. 20 mins walk to Colosseum and about 40 mins from Vatican City so great location everything within walking distance.
This hotel made our experience of Rome so easy we are ready to book again with them as for the price it was amazing service!
