Let me start by WOW!!
If you are even thinking about booking !!! Book now !! The pictures are spot on. We were greeted after a long flight by an amazing driver…Alex. He gave us an introduction to the island. We walked into the hotel and were greeted with big smiles. The open air lobby is breathtaking. The back of the hotel is right on the beach and the front is steps away from West End Main Street . Location is absolutely perfect. You can walk to many restaurants, bars, coffeehouses, street food and plenty of shopping. If you don’t want to walk there is transportation at the hotel, taxis and water taxis. West bay is quick 5 min water taxi.
The hotel is extremely clean, decor is modern beach chic and the attention to detail does not go unnoticed. The room was large. We stayed on the 3rd floor room 12. All the rooms are ocean view and have a open balcony. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Room had beach bag to use and beach towels. Plenty of paper, hairdryer and toiletries. Now what really makes this hotel is the STAFF:
Alex the hotel driver is very kind and gives so much information about the island
The front desk staff Kathy, Paola and Amber greeted us every time with big smiles, great conversation and were very helpful arranging island activities. Henry takes pride and works hard to the keep the beach and grounds stunning. Noel, Andromeda and Patrick are the best !! They make the dining and bar experience unforgettable. To awesome food and cocktails to great conversations. The housekeeping staff makes the hotel shine. The security staff makes you feel so safe at all times. This hotel is a hidden gem.Spectacular, breathtaking and beautiful are the first words out of my mouth. Thank you beach house hotel for making our first trip .. not our last unforgettable. See you next year.

My wife and I were lucky enough to spend a week in Roatan and we landed on staying at The Beach House in the West End. Our decision couldn't have been better. The General Manger Sierra and Manager Ashlee were awesome prior to our arrival responding to emails quickly and efficiently allowing us to setup tours and diving based on their recommendation (they recommended Roatan Divers for us and we couldn't have been happier). They setup our airport transfer with Alex and wow what a great guy and well versed in the islands history (basically gave us a mini tour from the airport to hotel). Once we arrived our room was extremely clean and well kept the staff at the on-site restaurant was great and the food was awesome. TBH offers complementary wifi and cable TV in the room as well as daily housekeeping (if desired) and it is all about 20 feet from the waters edge. The Beach House is in a great location just steps from several great bars and restaurants. The best part is all of this came at a very fair and affordable price.

Overall, we will be staying at The Beach House for all of our future trips to Roatan and we cannot wait to see the team members again in the near future. I highly recommend The Beach House for couples and families.

The Beach House is a wonderful hotel. The staff and service are excellent and the rooms are lovely - very clean, comfortable and spacious. The location in West End is perfect for exploring the town on foot, many great restaurants and shops are within a short walk and the locals and ex-pat community are friendly and welcoming. The rooms overlook the beach and pier and the views are heavenly. Great swimming from your doorstep and lots of lounge chairs for basking in the sun. The restaurant at the hotel is very good and the chef will try to accommodate any special requests you may have. I dove with Roatan Divers ( a 5 min walk up the beach from the hotel) and they were top notch, I highly recommend them.
I had a perfect week at the Beach House, it is a special place and a world of difference from big impersonal all-inclusive resorts... but with all of the same service and security. I will be back for sure!

Just returned from a little over a week and still smiling from a trip of a lifetime, which had to be rescheduled many times due to COVID. Can’t say enough kind things about this beautiful hotel and it’s wonderful staff. Sierra was a huge help with the frequent cancellations and assisting with excursions, dinner recommendations/reservations and more. Don’t think I’ve worked with a more professional/helpful manager at any property. That same attitude was reflected in the rest of the staff from Kathy and Jolissa (sp?)and all the wait staff to Henry in maintenance, Alex the driver and everyone we encountered. Chef Joxan and his kitchen team are among the finest on the island and the menu prices were very reasonable. The highlight was when he prepared the tuna we caught on a fishing trip 5 different ways. The location was perfect for strolling through West End with water taxi service, fishing, snorkeling and dive boats right on the beach. We’re so glad we chose this unique property and grateful for the opportunity to spend the last week of a lousy year in paradise. We hope to return as there is so much more to do and see in beautiful Roatan. Thanks for the amazing family memories!

If you’ve stayed at The Beach House in the past, you’ll be jazzed by the recent renovations to rooms. Completely updated bathrooms and kitchens, brand new kitchen equipment and furniture—some new windows and doors in the larger units. If you’ve never been there, then add to that the fact that it’s still the best location in West End, with a wonderfully friendly and attentive staff.

The staff (Paola, Raquel, Andromeda, Patrick, Noel, and so many others) were very friendly and responsive. They coordinated everything: airport transfers, transport to other parts of the island, boat excursions, private dock dinner, etc. It felt as if there was nothing they wouldn't try to accommodate for their guests. Service like what they delivered is part of what really helps make a holiday enjoyable.

The hotel has a lovely aesthetic, with an open air lobby and every room having a great bay view. Staying in Suite 14 is the way to go! The suite is large with a private balcony, and the bathroom is beautiful with a two-person shower area. They utilize high quality bath products and linens which only adds to an overall enjoyable stay. My suggestion for improvement is not something that is specific to this hotel: making bigger robes available to accommodate taller/larger sized guests would be nice. The hotel is right in the center of West End, with proximity to restaurants and bars if you want to venture off-property. The downside to this is that there are a number of bars that play music really loudly and can do this well into the night. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring some ear plugs. The property beachfront is not wide or long but is clean and beautiful. It would be helpful if beach umbrellas were readily available for guests.

The restaurant food was good but certainly not the absolute best I've had on the island. Their special dinner dish was a very tasty lobster risotto and breakfast was consistently tasty. However, the surf and turf I had was not great and the burger I had was overcooked. I am the type of person that prefers to eat local when visiting new places. Between the food quality and value of the meals, the hotel restaurant did not dissuade me from this notion. It was by no means bad but was really more of a convenient (if expensive) dining option. The frozen drinks were good also.

Overall, it was a lovely stay and I would happily return again in the future.

The Beach House is located right on the beach in the middle of the bay, just minutes' walking distance to all the West End restaurants and bars, and ferries to other parts of the island. The rooms themselves are very newly (and beautifully) renovated, with stunning views of the bay and its sunsets. If you need anything during your time as a guest, Karyn and the rest of the staff are very helpful--from bar/restaurant recs, to places to go and things to do on the island, to helping find any supplies you may have forgotten. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

My wife and I stayed at the Beach House for our honeymoon for over a week. Both Paola and Chiara were amazing since the moment we arrived. They were very attentive to details and always made sure we were taken care of. We experienced amazing hospitality from all the staff on a daily basis, including help with calling taxis, making reservations at local restaurants, plenty of references for places to eat or activities, along with very clean, comfortable rooms with plenty of light. We found the hotel restaurant to be one of the best in the entire West End (if not THE best!) Definitely recommend staying at this beautiful hotel with its great views and location!

We just returned from a 9-day trip in Roatan. We stayed at the Beach House for the first half of the trip and loved it. We loved swimming in the calm, clear water that is just steps from the hotel. We enjoyed jumping off of iSoar (the boat permanently anchored in Half Moon Bay). We snorkeled both sides of the bay multiple times as well. Yes, there is music from the next door bar until about 9:30pm most nights, but that didn’t bother us. We play white noise from our phones when we travel anyway so sleeping through it wasn’t a problem.

Complimentary coffee is now served daily in the lobby, which was greatly appreciated. Since there is no free breakfast, we enjoyed a delicious and reasonably-priced breakfast at Yahongreh most mornings. Sandy Bunz was our favorite lunch spot and Gingers was our favorite dinner (all three are a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel). There are also a few small grocery/convenience stores nearby as well.

We would absolutely stay here again. Only a few things would have improved our stay. It would have been great if they offered the use of floaties and kayaks or paddle boards.

Loved this hotel. Huge suite with kitchen and extra bedroom with king bed. Balcony overlooking the beach and the sea which is a few feet from the hotel. Loved that it was small and had its own excellent restaurant where we at our breakfasts and some other meals. Andromeda was phenomenal server. Friendly and efficient. The rest of the hotel staff was also really nice and helpful with whatever we needed. Was disappointed that we couldn't snorkel from the beach but they told me in advance we couldn't. Wasn't a problem since we found plenty of opportunities to snorkel. The hotel arranged transport to the airport and we hired the driver to give us a tour of the island, which was very interesting and included a stop at an off-the-beaten-track seafood restaurant. Expected crowds because it was tourist season but there were hardly any. Liked the location in West End a few minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants and a $5/pp water taxi ride away from another part of the island where we paid $90 for a day pass at the Infinity Bay resort and went snorkeling and swam in their pool. Contrary to a lot of websites we checked, every place we went took credit cards but the wait staff doesn't get all the tips so it's good to pay them in cash. It is true that you should bring lots of dollars and that they should be in near pristine condition. The only complaint I had, which I mentioned in the review of the restaurant was that they charged $9 for a bagel which is 35 cents in the US. I would definitely come back to the Beach House if I return to Roatan.

I cannot comment specifically on suites 1 or 4 as I am not exactly sure where those rooms are. They on the ground floor and we stayed on the second. We did hear footsteps from the room above us but I think one person was particularly heavy footed. There may be a bit more outside ambient noise in the first floor rooms as the beach in front of the hotel, while very nice, is not all that wide so people playing in the water could be relatively close to the first floor rooms.

The beach is very small but cute. Its next to a public beach so there are sometimes people other than hotel guests there. This part of the island is not known for its beaches. We spent an afternoon at this beach and then took a water taxi to the better beaches for a day. They brought nice lounge chairs for us and we were the only guests at the beach at the time so I'm not sure where they store them or how many they have. We didn't ask for an umbrella as there was a nice tree for shade when we wanted it. I recommend emailing the property as they were very prompt in replying to any questions that I had prior to arrival.
