The spacious and immaculate rooms, complete with modern amenities and comfortable beds, are a highlight, although a few guests suggest some areas could benefit from refurbishment. The staff's attentive and friendly service is often commended, contributing to the hotel's overall value. While most guests find the pricing reasonable, a few have encountered unexpected charges. Good if you're a young couple/ back packers on a budget- central to most places via bike/walking + breakfast included. It's close to most sight seeing places and food is easily accessible.

However, there was no hot water throughout our stay & water ran brown. The quality of the room was poorly maintained, furniture was damaged and the roof had pieces of damp that was cut out and drilled back in. I would most likely not go back after moving to a different hotel, where we felt very comfortable.

I do recommend this to students on a budget, or young back packing couples. But not if you're expecting the most comfortable stay.

We stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago and always said we would go back, so we returned in November.
The hotel was very much as we remembered it, but was also being updated following COVID, when I would think they had had few guests and had been left to run down some what.
That said, each day workman were on side renovating the whole complex, this work was being done very quietly and with little use of power tools (we were almost unaware of there presence).
Our room was good with everything we needed and as advertised,. The A/C worked well and was pretty quiet. The bathroom was fine, although the bath was a little worn to the base and could do with re- coating or changing.
The pool and surrounding areas are lovely for relaxing and cooling off, with about a dozen sunbeds, brollies and tables.
There are quite a lot of steps and no lift, so would probably not suit anyone with mobility issues.
The staff are all brilliantly friendly and helpful, with pretty good English, nothing is too much trouble for them if you ask.
Breakfast is not a buffet but, you can have eggs anyway you like them with meats or salad, toast with jam, fruits and as much tea or coffee as you like and fruit juice, plus almost anything from the main menu, although some things are at extra cost.
The hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes walk to the beach and main town centre, so is quite a quiet place, but is also close enough to bars and restaurants if you don't fancy the walk.
We stayed for a month, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here, so much so that we have booked to return this November.

So the hotel staff are AMAZING, can't do enough for you.
We stayed in one grand delux room which has a massive bed and a sofa, this was suitable for three people. The room was nice with a balcony, giant TV, the bathroom was pretty tired but we couldn't complain about the cleanliness.

We were upgraded for our second room for a family suite which had two giant beds so it would have suited us better to have two this size for a family of 6. This room was a little tired also however don't let that put you off as we've all had the best sleeps EVER while here.

They have a bar and restaurant by the pool which is pretty fabulous again with wonderful attentive staff and was reasonably priced too.
I wasn't up for the pool as it looked small but we had a wonderful time there and it was actually nice that it was on the smaller side no fighting for seats, lovely atmosphere, it was great and we spent several days here

The area it's in is about a 7 minute walk to a busier populated area and in the other direction you are only about 4 minutes from a 7-11.

We booked some trips which we got them chesper from a shop/stall at Karon beach.

Initially we booked this hotel as a base so we could travel around the island but became quite fond of it so have stayed here much more

We paid to upgrade to the newer family room which was much more modern. Unfortunately the older family room fridge stopped working so all of the contents was ruined, I was a little dissapointed the hotel did not offer to reimburse us especially when they charged us for one of the kids breaking a drinking glass, didn't seem fair, it was the principle of it really not the cost if it.

Would we return, YES!

Thank you for a great stay. We loved it!

I hate to say anything bad but people need to know the condition of this room. Upon arrival we were met with a nice young girl and the check in process was quick and easy. It was later at night so we were tired from travel all day. We got to the room which was under another room kind of felt like a dungeon. First thing we noticed that the room was old and outdated Ok no problem. Then we went to bed and the light from the pool area and the walkway next to the room kept me up all night long. When we woke up we started to notice the condition of the room. The bathroom was a mess the tub stained the mirror was falling apart the paneling on the ceiling was coming off. I then tried the TV it was all fuzzy. The curtain rod over the front sliding door was coming out of the ceiling. I decided to look at the pillows big mistake! They were all moldy and had sweat stains on them. Needless to say that morning we got up ate breakfast and immediately found a new hotel to stay at. The pictures on the website show some real nice rooms and if I had got one of them I would have a different view of this hotel. I could keep going but what good would it do. Here’s some pictures that speak for themselves.

Shabby accommodation. My wife and I are well traveled so can judge fairly. First room was next to reception so all night the guest were noisy outside our door. Then someone had a boat outside our window and came for it at 0530hrs, the noise was ridiculous!!! The tv was severely ghosted on every channel. In the morning we complained and were moved to room B07. Immediately you could smell the mould as you entered. The tv was ghosted the same and the bathroom was sub standard. The breakfast was not good, the restaurant was overpriced, the complex is built on a hill and it was 75 steps to climb to reach reception, in 35c temperatures this is not for the faint hearted. My advice? Go elsewhere.

Overall: hidden gem of disappointment. It has absolutely nothing common with photos and reviews.

Location. Patong suburbans, 4-5 line of streets. Far from beach. Nothing to do here without bike or car.

Territory: hotel is situated on the side of the hill and every walk from room to breakfast or to town will be stairs. No elevator. Absolutely not possible to drag heavy luggage, you should carry it.
No fitness.
During our stay ( 3-8 Jan 23, high season) there was a renovation process in progress. Dirt, dust, noise from jigsaws right staring 9.00. How do you like it?)

Breakfast. You will eat eggs in three variations. A little bit fruits and toasts with butter. Every day the same.

Room. Towels were dirty like... There were bugs in bed!!!! Electricity blinking. Rust and dirt in bathroom. The fridge was with stinky smell. Everything was dirty. After we saw all that, and filing complains to booking.com, reception unfortunately refused to cancel our stay and refund. Instead of this they suggested to move to another room. It was the room from photos actually (Family suite) much more comfortable, but towels were still dirty. And there was another surprise - hot water shortages the bathroom.

Internet. 3 mbit/sec is maximum what you can get here. Not suitable for work or YouTube.

Do you still want to waste your money?

I can totally recommend to stay at Club Bamboo, it is an amazing opportunity with the good deals they are offering. With a rich breakfast included, I'm vegan and they listened to my request and prepared everyday veggies, fruits, dairy free milk and cereals, just amazing. The stuff is great and the facilities very well maintained, pool always clean and they are always making everything pretty around. Worth to visit. The main suit is amazing with great view and bathtub 😍

This is another time to confirm back to stay at Club bamboo. And once again we impressed and enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, near the pool. The staff takes good care of us they’re friendly and always smiling. The pool is lovely, the food is delicious, the location is not far from the center and they have a shuttle bus service to the beach too. the hotel area is natural. I will definitely come back again. Recommend!!!!!👍

Dear Dean , There's so many romantic getaways in Phuket to choose from and Club Bamboo should be right at the Bottom where it rightfully Belongs . We Regretted every moment of our 10 nights stay ( my review was the most repulsive ) and you would too if you happen to Insist . Everything about the place was Repulsive , including the beddings , furnishing , air-conditioning right down to the defective plumbing , torn and worn out drapes . Last but not least , the UNbearable Stench from the long bath drainage vent when in use 🤪 If you still have to Ruin Your Anniversary , then the current going rate for the Bamboo Villa is 3850 THB / USD 122 or GBP 94 per night Without the Breakfast that Absolutely Sucks 😫
