We came from the Ritz-Carlton and needed a hotel with zero notice as our original hotel fell through! This had a tough act to follow and although Element by Westin isn’t trying to pretend to be a Ritz-Carlton, once you factor in the crazy cheap price and the beautiful, modern, clean surroundings, it’s doing a fantastic job.

The views from the hotel lobby and room corridors are overlooking the beautiful, jungly scenery of Ubud, the pool area is absolutely gorgeous. The location and Ubud itself means there’s creatures everywhere but the amount of lizards and frogs around the property mean the bugs are well taken care of. The important thing is that the new, modern rooms are totally bug proof! Clean and comfy, good a/c, good shower. Basic toiletries in shower more than good enough although I always take my own.

The spa was fantastic, the therapists were lovely and skilled, relaxing and stress-free experience as we were well taken care of and the special offer they came and offered us by the pool was amazing for two massages! The massage area is an outside/inside open air concept but the private area with changing room/toilets etc was great and the sense of being in the jungle at the same time was lovely.

As platinum SPG the hotel doesn’t participate in the guaranteed upgrades but for this price we knew that it is what it is. We were offered late checkout and breakfast was AMAZING! Great service and real pork yay!

Hotel called us a few taxis which was easy and the first person they called us was lovely and we used him to drive us a few times and to go back to Nusa Dua.

I really think this hotel is doing an amazing job.

Element by Westin Bali Ubud is the best value option I could ever have around the Ubud area. The perfect location is nearby to the city center, making traveling easy, from monkey forest to TegalAlang. But it was the room design of Suite that topped my experience, making this one of my favorite hotels to stay in Ubud. And just as you’d expect, the hotel is effortlessly sophisticated & chic in its design and decor. My favorite highlight of the room was the en suite bathrooms. And in particular, the featured bathtub. This hotel is also a perfect option for business and leisure, they provide yoga class, bike to rent-free, saltwater pool, and spa. Last but not least, the breakfast was great, love all my favorite American dishes!

The Elements Ubud Hotel is a very nice one. The staff, specially Miss Karina Apsari at the reception are very friendly and welcoming.
Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in February, 2020 and the experience was a very good one. The giant bamboo structure in the lobby is a very beautiful piece of art, somewhat like the Pandals of Durga Puja in my city Kolkata.
The rooms are very clean and spacious and the view from the balcony of upper-floor rooms, specially after waking up in the morning, is a very beautiful one.
The hotel is big and also has 2 large pools with a very nice poolside bar with nice music playing around. The breakfast, although very delicious, could include a bit more varieties. The restaurant is located very cozily and the ambiance feels great during evenings making you feel closer to nature. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Food prices are very very appropriate.
The hotel also provided us with a nice small pastry for our anniversary trip.
The Element Ubud provides free shuttle service to and from the Monkey Forest and Ubud Market and also gives bi-cycles without any charge to customers who want to explore nearby areas on their own.
All in all, our stay at the Elements By Westin Ubud was a very comfortable and memorable one and I would definitely recommend this to families, friends and couples!
P.S: The clock on the bedside table doubles as a bluetooth speaker.

what a waste of money. They advertise themselves as 4.5 stars but your fridge in your room is empty. Not even a cold bottle of water. Checking in was a long process cause the only staff at the front desk was dealing with some tour issues for a client. I was told I have to sit down and wait even though its 9.10pm and We have been all day wet in a long trip to a temple that end up caught in a massive rain. we are hungry and the restaurant closes in 20 mins. We are waiting and waiting and no one can just give us our keys to go and get dry in our room. Finally some other staff shows up and expedite things. Then, no time for room.... straight to the restaurant before they close. I regret we made it on time cause this was the worst and more overpriced dinner I had in Bali. Carbonara pasta that looked like food from a hospital.... just a big pile of pasta coated in garlic cream sauce and a depressing serve of garlic bread. My snapper was a piece of work cause the chef did not bother to have the time to fillet it so I had to do it myself. I ordered a Martini to warm up my cold body but seems like only half of the glass is the standard serve. I tried to highlight some of these issues but then I find out that the staff does not really understand english.
so, finally made it to the room. Time for a beer? not at this hotel cause your fridge is empty. Now I wonder why they asked me for a deposit when I checked in???? this is the first time I have been asked for a deposit in Bali.

We stayed here for two nights from 8-10MAR2020 and had a perfect stay. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Each and every member of the staff was extremely hospitable, professional, and competent. Overall, the property was very new and tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings and modern conveniences. We loved the lush jungle views from the room, the big TV, the luxurious bathroom, and comfortable bed. The WiFi was great and there were plenty of channels on the TV. The pool was beautiful and the pool bar was a fun place to get drinks and food at decent prices. The gym was small but had plenty of equipment to make for some great workouts. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding. We really enjoyed the food and the specialty local options from the egg station.

This location is great for exploring all there is to see and do in Ubud. For about $2USD you can take a Grab just about anywhere you would want to go in the immediate area. Once again, the staff deserve special recognition for making this a perfect stay. I would definitely stay here again and find this to be an excellent option for exploring Ubud and central Bali.

We really enjoyed our stay at Element by Westin. Our stay was very comfortable. We didn't have any issues. Breakfast was delicious so much choice and catered for our dietary needs (Vegetarians and Vegans) If I was ever unsure if the food is suitable staff were readily available to ask questions and they would check if the food was suitable. We hired the bikes for half day....again this was fun and great that they was no extra charges for hiring the bikes. The shuttle into town is very convenient...on the return we would get a taxi back from near the ubud market and found we were paying between idr50,000 - 60,000 but did have to haggle a bit. A taxi from the hotel to the market would cost around idr75,000.

My best friend and I spent 4 days in Bali just to escape from work and the city lifestyle. We chose this hotel as it was a great, affordable choice from the list of Marriott International properties in Ubud. The hotel is located not too far from Ubud town where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops to explore.

Check in was very smooth and fast. We booked ourselves a Deluxe Room with 2 twin beds and a balcony overseeing the pool. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was equally as a big with a massive window that looked into the bedroom (there were window blinds for privacy). Amenities were basic and expected of the Element brand. Service was prompt with our luggage delivery, ice bucket requests and additional toiletries.

Breakfast was included in our room package which was impressive in terms of the spread of food available. We appreciated the breakfast team at Andong Teras All-Day Dining Restaurant coming to our table to check on our wellbeing and offering to book a table for dinner (but unfortunately we already had plans for dinner with our friends). I liked the availability of local dishes during breakfast - especially the Bubur, Nasi Goreng and Keropok! It’s important to highlight the local cuisine to tourists when they visit Bali.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. See you all again soon!

Check-in: Smooth and informative

Upgrade: Per Marriott Policy, Element portfolio does not participate in complimentary upgrades. They gave us the rooms on the 7th floor (rooms 723 and 726) overlooking the pool, so we were happy.

Room: Spacious and modern design with a balcony.

Breakfast: Both Indonesian and western options. Also has an omelette and fresh fruit station

Service: Staff goes above and beyond. We ordered food from grab and needed it reheated. Instead of just throwing it in a microwave, they took it to the kitchen and refried our fried chicken, transferred everything to a plate, and had staff deliver it to our room.

Shuttle: Every 2 hours drop off at Monkey Sanctuary or Ubud palace. Pick up at Coco Supermarket, roughly 15 minute walk south from ubud palace.

Pool Bar: happy hour buy one get one free drinks from 430pm - 630pm.

Great property with great service, highly recommended

Last September, we came to Ubud for some business and stay at Element Ubud for 5 days. We came very late but the staff is very welcome and make a good impression. Since its covid time, when we check-in they clean thoroughly all our suitcases before bring to our room.

The hotel is very clean and all staff has excellent service.
The breakfast choices are good, they provide western and Indonesia menu with a very good taste.

We're very satisfied and make us go back to this hotel again last October with our son. With its semi-open space, Andong restaurant has very good ambience so our son can online school comfortably every day.

There's a small story during our stay, my wife left some clothes during our September stay and they email us directly when the staff cleans our room after we checkout. Unfortunately we already at the airport so we can't go back to Ubud.
But the hotel staff is willing to keep our stuff so we can collect it again when we coming in October.

And for the 3rd time, we will go back to Element Ubud next month for New Year holiday with the whole family. Looking forward to another great experience with Element Ubud!

I would like to thank each & every member of the Hotel, who made our stay memorable & ensured that we should carry only good memories with us. A special Shout out goes out to Mr.Gusti, You are an awesome Leader & I can confidently say that Management made the right decision by giving the role to you.

We stayed for 5 nights & from check in to check out it was very smooth. The hotel has a great location which is 8 mins from the shopping area & if you are ok to walk -15-18 mins by walk.

The restaurant inside the hotel offers great food variety in terms of breakfast & Dinner. They have a room service option too.

In terms of hotel rooms, we found them spacious & well equipped. Each room got a balcony too so that you can enjoy the view ( do check out the pics).

We have been taken by Mr. Gusti & his team in a very caring manner. He ensured our comfort in every possible way. If you have time for that case do not miss enjoying the evening in Pool with a glass ( drink of your choice).

If you are considering a property in UBUD for your next trip, do consider Element Bali Ubud. ( additional discounts if you are a Marriot Bonvoy Club Member).

Hi there, Based on Google Map, the walk time is around 30ish mins… I was planning to walk from the hotel to Ubud main area, but the heat from the sun made me to choose hotel’s free shuttle instead. The hotel has a free scheduled shuttle from hotel to Ubud (corner Jalan Raya Ubud and Hanoman) and Monkey Forest (and from Monkey Forest back to hotel). Please check the hotel for the schedule. Hope it helps.
