You feel immersed in a small old village, with shops, typical restaurants and an Amazing Café (Sabaa Café). Local foods, but also with a full buffet. The hotel is sensational. Totally restructured, with a typical atmosphere and complete rooms, with all the comfort and characteristic peculiarity. Absolutely wonderful, outstanding experience! We chose to stay at Al Seef Heritage hotel because we loved the idea of being able to walk around Old Dubai (one of my favorite parts of Dubai) and thought the hotel's decor looked stunning. My boyfriend was allowed to check in early as he had flown in from South Africa that morning - the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel is unique in that the rooms and restaurant are scattered around Old Dubai on top of various shops and restaurants. We were taken to our room on a golf cart as the room was a bit away from the main reception. The decor at Al Seef Heritage is exquisite and we were so comfortable. The rooms had AC, beautiful linen, toiletries in the bathroom as well as complimentary water and a bar fridge. On our first night we woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of construction outside - after phoning reception the staff were able to stop the noise and upgraded us to a quieter room the next night with a beautiful view of the creek. Overall a really special experience and worth a visit!

We wanted a base to explore the old souq and were not disappointed with the Al Seef Heritage Hotel. The location was well situated on the banks of Dubai creek in the newer souq developed by Meraas (itself hardly ‘authentic’ however quite clean and family friendly) but only a short ferry ride to the old souq and gold/spice souqs on the other side. The rooms were cosy and we were particularly impressed by the welcoming staff that made our stay extra comfortable, especially since we were travelling with young children. There is no pool but you can take a golf cart to their sister hotel further up the road and use theirs. We also found the Arabic breakfast to be quite enjoyable. Definitely a fun weekend staycation for all the family.

This hotel is incredible. From the moment you stepped into reception to check in you feel you have stepped back in time, it’s so authentic and relaxing. The staff are faultless and incredibly polite. The breakfast is traditional and plenty of choice. At night Al Seef comes to life and has a wonderful atmosphere with live music and plenty of places eat. I was in room 222 and this had a creek view with a private balcony on the 2nd floor is block Al Bayt 2, highly recommended room. The room was very clean, bedding and bed comfortable, plenty of towels and toiletries. There was a hair dryer in the room a good size safe and a Nespresso coffee machine. The fridge is large enough to hold more than bottles of complimentary small water bottles. The hotel offer a free golf buggy service to take you and collect you from your room with your luggage at check in and check out. From the airport to the hotel the RTA taxi cost 35 dirhams including a tip. Check in and check out was simply and easy but having read reviews of being slow, it was a slower pace but there was no need to feel rushed. I used the Hilton Canopy a 5 minute walk from the Hilton Heritage to use the infinity pool on the 7th floor. Simply turn up and use the pool, no pass needed but the loungers are limited. If you want to take the metro the nearest is a 15 minute walk from reception and it’s very safe to walk day or night and using a Silver Noi card costs 25 dirhams that gives 19 dirhams if travel and each journey to the Burj station costs approx 5 dirhams each way. I found the hotel and surrounding area incredible and would highly recommend this as a resort and destination with any hesitation.

I stayed at this hotel in November for a leisure trip with my parents. I was upgraded to a superior room and it was very spacious. My parents rooms was also equally nice. The decor is modern and the bathrooms are spacious with a separate tub and shower. The bed is really, really comfortable and my sleep was so restful for the stay. I had a room at the back of the hotel - Whilst the view wasn't any thing special, there was absolutely no noise. My parents had a room at the front of the hotel and one evening there was a corporate function with loud music that ran on to 3am! Avoid this and request a room at the rear. It was only one night and overall, didn't detract from their experience.
Breakfast is good, nice choice but its the same each day so gets a bit repetitive but good quality nevertheless. The views from the roof top pool area are amazing. There aren't many sunbeds/ loungers but then we weren't looking to sunbathe so it didn't bother us.
The location, being adjacent to the Al Seef heritage area, is great. Good choice of restaurants and not super busy. We enjoyed walking along the river most evenings. The location allows you to be in a city location close to Meena Bazzar, Gold Souk and Spice Souk etc. Bujuman Mall (and the Metro Station) are about a 10 minute walk.
Staff at the hotel were helpful and we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very poor service! During check-in they insisted we paid more money (10%! more) than it was confirmed in our official booking confirmation email received from Hilton. This is insane as we are staying very often at Hilton hotels and we had never before such issue. Confirmation e-mail is always showing the FINAL price with all taxes and service charges. I also checked “Reservation Rules and Restrictions” policy start Hilton.com and there is a paragraph which is saying that: “The taxes, service charges and value added tax shown on your e-mail confirmation are those currently in effect”. So this hotel doesn’t follow Hilton rules and restrictions! What is more, we booked rate with breakfast and during the meal manager on duty told us that he doesn’t see that we have breakfast included and asked us to verify it with the reception. This was insane! We felt very very unwelcome and uncomfortable.
I have never experienced such bad service at Hilton hotels! It was a very unpleasant experience which I reported to Hilton Customer Support and hopefully they will deal with this insane issue.

The attention to detail in the Al Seef Heritage is amazing- it feels like you have been transported back to Old Dubai despite the hotel only being a couple of years old. There has been thought put into every aspect of the hotel room from the floor style to ceiling beams to light switches, doors and phones.
The hotel is split into 10 blocks amongst the other shops, cafes and restaurants in Al Seef. Reception were very helpful in assisting me to my room and I was transported by a golf buggy, which will also happily transport you to the nearby sister hotel which houses the swimming pool and gym. The fact the hotel is very spread out might not be for everyone, but I loved it as it gave a very authentic vibe as you really felt in the middle of a traditional Arab village.
The rooms had all the amenities that you could think of... except milk, which was odd and my only complaint is I had to call 3 times to request some milk sachets. The fake Nespresso pods also weren’t great, but this was only a minor issue.
Within the room all the main facilities were great: fantastic rainfall shower, incredibly comfy bed, good A/C and plenty of traditional lights.
There were many communal areas within the hotel blocks all with quirky seating areas and the rooms were very spacious too. I chose a heritage room with souk view and requested a balcony too. Only some of the souk/creek rooms have a balcony, but it depends whether they are available- there isn’t a separate price band. The souk view wasn’t great as it is all covered, but it was worth paying the extra if you can manage to get a balcony. However, if the room doesn’t have a balcony the communal areas have nice views and are just as private, because of the huge amount of space the hotel occupies.
Breakfast in Saba’a cafe was AMAZING. When booking the hotel I’d highly recommend including breakfast as it is great value for money. Unlimited choice from the menu of traditional Arabic breakfast and English or continental. There is something for everyone in a great environment which matches the rest of the hotel. Served 7-12 and you can get picked up at your block upon request (or it’s only a 5 minute walk from most blocks).
Overall, considering the fantastic value for money and unique design with attention to detail it is easily one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

After a hassle free check out from Canopy by Hilton Hotel. The staff provided me a hotel buggy car service to assist me in hotel transfer from Canopy by Hilton to Al Seef Heritage Hotel (Curio Collection by Hilton).
I was welcomed by Gamal, a very friendly, tall Emirati guy. He gave me a refreshing welcome drink called Sobia and politely requested me to sit and wait for my turn.
I was surprised to see a lot of locals, residents and tourists waiting to be checked-in.
I realized that I’m not the only one who wants to experience this gem in Dubai.
When it was my turn to check-in, the receptionist greeted me a happy birthday and she mentioned that she was expecting me.
WOW, I was impressed by their customer service and hotel coordination.
I was assisted by Gamal to my room and got excited to see the hallway as I felt I was back in the old times.
I really loved the set up of my room and bathroom as it exceeded my expectations to feel and to experience OLD Dubai.
Worth to mention, Gamal came back to my room and brought a cake from Natalia and the whole team to wish me a happy birthday. I’m so touched and it really made my day special.
The next day, I woke up and realized I had a good night sleep as the bed was so comfy and ambiance of my room was so relaxing. In addition to that, the area is far away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world of Dubai.
My room has a great view of the sunrise and surrounded by the souks. When the sun rises, the rays touches the walls of the old villas and it gave a nice golden color.
They have a great breakfast selections at Saba’a Cafe. The food quality and portions was superb. I tried the arabic breakfast and the saffron french toast... it was to die for. They also provide a generous set of starters and the ambiance of the place compliments the area / community.
I would like to thank Pooja, Aysha, Rawad and Osama for their amazing hospitality.
You will find a lot of Instagram worthy places while you stroll around the area and I find the community peaceful, safe and nice.
You will also find souks which offers affordable and great local made products.
It was truly one of the hidden gems of Dubai.
They’re very fast and polite in responding to your personal needs especially Rama of Housekeeping.
The whole experience was a blast. Literally a blast from the past.
I will definitely come back & recommend this place to my friends.

The hotel is part of a repurposed waterfront area of Old Dubai. As such our room reflected the old style and floors were concrete so don't expect a modern feel. Our room faced interior alleys which absorbed sound from below and you will hear the 5:40am call to prayer unless you are in a deep sleep. I'm not sure if the river rooms are more quiet as there are restaurants below.
The breakfast buffet was excellent and we looked forward to it everyday. Food for all appetites/nationalities.
The gym and pool are at a sister property but we were too busy touring to use it.
The location was good and cabs are inexpensive so we could get most anywhere for well under USD20. The metro stop is a bit of a hike so we didn't use that.
The departure for the river dinner cruises are about 200 yards away and the waterfront provides for good people watching.
I gave the property a three rating due to room quality (lighting was dim, one sink, concrete floor, outside noise) . Staff was attentive and helpful.

We stays for 6 days. The property is beautifully design and built, but staying in the hotel we need much more. The room needs big maintenance especially in M&E so many things were dysfunctions. In room amenities are limited such as only 2 mugs in the room, no any glass nothing else. No shower cap, Nespresso machine was there but no capsules etc. No room service in the hotel even it was shown in hotel service with menu, they ordered from outside and it took an hour even they informed 25 mins at beginning. No information flowed in the service, we asked about laundry, they have to find information for a while before replying they can provide the service or not, we ask the hotel to book RT PCE test but when we asked on the day we book, they did not know anything. Housekeeping were 2 gentlemen and it seemed they were never be trained, they did what they could but it was not good at all, no cleaning at the terrace, water stain still was the same etc. Anyway the staffs tried their best, but they need people who can manage well the place. Jason the night shift was very nice, Mohammed, the buggy and bellman was very helpful, he tried to fix the things after he listened to our complaints. Sorry, but I doubt it, it's really a hotel for a short break, there may be one at their sister hotel, the Hilton, where you get use of the pool and bar.
have stayed twice in this hotel and everything was fine except for some problems in the bathrooms such as water leaks and also malfunctions in the room phones and coffee machine.. so I hope that there is interest in maintaining these things
