Comfortable room, with a good ocean breeze and great views. For being so close to the main drag, things are quiet at night and although there is a bar on the property, it isn't very loud. There are a few large lizards which live on the property, which is super fun for adults and for kids.

I highly recommend one of the cabanas up front: a great view of the ocean and a hot tub on the room. It is definitely worth the extra cost to sit on the room, watch the sun sink away, soak in the cool ocean breeze, in the warmth of a hot tub.

We reached out to Seaside Cabanas via email prior to booking. They were very accommodating and quickly responded. We booked room 18 which had two patios, an outdoor daybed, a hot tub, and a kitchenette area. We came with 3 people, so they were able to provide an extra bed downstairs for us. The only downside of that room was the amount of stairs that had to be climbed. The room is upstairs to begin with, and after you enter the room, the bathroom is on the upper level. The room has a set of steep stairs with no rails that reach the bedroom and bathroom. If you struggle with stairs, we do not recommend this room. The bedroom was beautiful and the bathroom had a nice shower window. Rooms were cleaned regularly. A pitcher of filtered water was also provided for us in the room. The patio provided great views. The hot tub was cold when we arrived since it had to be manually turned on for a while before it would heat up. The hot tub was smaller compared to the other rooms. The staff at the "Uno Mas Bar" was great. I believe the bartender's name was Rose. She served us great drinks our whole stay. The location was so convenient since it was about a 2 minute walk to the San Pedro Express ferry. Overall good experience.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seaside Cabanas. We stayed in Cabana #4 which includes a private rooftop terrace. The room was simple but clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

There was a large group of young women from the Netherlands staying at the hotel while we were there. They were pleasant and well-mannered but pretty much dominated the pool area most of the day…so the rooftop terrace that came with our room was a very welcome addition, as it was quiet with a great view, and had guaranteed lounge chairs!

The location just steps away from the Main Street of Caye Caulker is ideal. We strolled down the street to Ice & Beans for coffee and fresh donuts while lounging by the sea. We often lingered there for an hour or two just soaking up the casual ambiance of the island.

On our last visit to Caye Caulker, we stayed at a “luxury” hotel on the quite side of the island. It was lovely with a nice beach. But it was a bit isolated andalso cost about $100/night more than Seaside Cabanas…considering the location and the rooftop terrace and lovely accommodating staff, we believe Seaside Cabanas is the better value. We will book here when we return to Caye Caulker next year.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of an organised tour. Caye Caulker south island is very small and you can walk from the south point to the north point in 20 minutes, but the hotel was well located as it's close to both boat docks. It's close enough to bars and restaurants to be convenient, but far enough away for it not to be noisy (apart from the place right across the street). The grounds are very cute, it's quite small but pretty and the sea is just across the path from the pool area. They gave out pool towels which we could be exchanged every other day. The hotel has wifi which was great by the pool and bar area, but didn't work so well in my room which was on the upper floor.

My room was ok, and large enough with a double/full bed which was comfortable, and very clean. There was air conditioning which worked mostly ok and a fan. I didn't find the bathroom particularly well laid out, there wasn't much surface area for toiletries, and lacked items such as a hair dryer. There was no bath tub but the shower was large enough, and it had reliable hot water and pressure nearly all of the time. The tap water on Caye Caulker comes from a desalination plant on the island which I don't think works that well, not the hotel's fault but it means that the shower and sink water smells a bit of sea.

We had breakfast on both days which was ok, the offerings were a little slim but it's only a small hotel, and it's served outside though it's possible to sit inside at the bar. There was cereal, bread for toasting, waffles, fruit, yoghurt, granola, and either rolls or pastries as well as coffee, tea, and orange juice. The bar at the hotel was quite good, happy hour was 3-7 pm, it was quite cheap and the offerings were ok.

Overall it's a nice small hotel, very much in vibe with the island. I'd say by international standards it's around a 3 star hotel.

We just came back from a 9 day stay at the Seaside Cabanas and loved it (it's our 2nd time staying there.) The rooms are well-appointed and the ones that surround the pool each have their own private rooftop hot tub. We rented the 1 bedroom loft which is larger with a nice sitting room and kitchenette (and stronger wifi). The view from our room was lovely, even the view from the shower! The people that take care of the property are so kind and helpful. It was really a pleasure to stay here again and we'll definitely be back!

We stayed at this wonderful hotel with ocean front view, the sunrise was spectacular. We stay in room 4 with the hot tub on the rooftop terrace and enjoyed a cocktail while looking at the turquoise water....what a beautiful way to unwind . The staff were so friendly and helpful , Lewis jr. and Lewis sr were always willing to have a chat and ask how was your day today . GREAT PR. Vivian was a pleasure to see every day telling us about the island and its history. I would always tease Nichole that worked in the bar during the day she was the best baker in the world, the contental breakfast was so tasty .
The bartender (Harry) that worked the evening shift made delicious drinks, sometimes to good LOL . The rooms were always cleaned and the cleaning staff always made a point to say hi , they did a great job on keeping our room fresh and clean.

Now the island of Caye Caulker one word to describe the island WOW!!!!!!!!

Thank you for making our vacation a memorable one , Cheers to the next time we meet.

Cabana 1 was fabulous. It was our honeymoon and the bed was decorated with flowers. There was not a breakfast provided during our stay so don’t count on that. The pool was wonderful and never crowded. I truly think this is the best place to sTay. I had some issues with the hot tub as sometimes I could turn on the jets and then it would be hot after an hour but other times it never got hot. You can ask for additional purified water and keep plastic out of the dump. Time at this cabana is what I miss most about Belize.

This is our second time staying here, and it's even better than the last time! We have traveled to more than 60 countries and can attest there are few hotels as perfect as this. The room (room 1) is comfortable and has all the amenities you need, and the private front porch and private rooftop deck (with a hammock and plunge pool!) are a dream. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. The shared pool is perfect temperature and sparkling clean.

And while it's a quiet space, you are only minutes away from the main restaurant and bar area of the island.

This was a trip I had planned with my granddaughter. We had originally booked into Barefoot Beach on Caye Caulker, however due to a positive covid test we were not able to make it the week that we had planned on. At Barefoot they would not reschedule of compromise a bit, even tho on their web page there was no cancellation policies listed.
However we then found, with the help of Tucker Travels Belize, Seaside Cabanas and they were most accommodating at this hotel. They were even less money so that was a pleasant surprise!
I would recommend Seaside to anyone traveling that direction. It was clean, nice pool, super friendly people and like I said it was easy walking to just about anywhere downtown.
All the rooms were quiet because of the way the property was situated.
We will definitely be back

The thing I loved the most is the people who administer this hotel. They are so warm and welcoming, they know what hospitality means. The free breakfast was delicious, also, the bedrooms have all the stuff you need to be comfortable. The upgrade for a Jacuzzi bedroom is worth it!

The sargassum was very thick almost everywhere on the island when we were there in mid July. Crews would work all morning on the beach in front of Seaside shoveling it into a truck and hauling it off only for the beach to be covered again in the morning. Even after removal the smell remains, but you do get used to it after a while. You are better off heading down to the split or walking over to the westside of the island to find a clean beach without the smell. KOKO king beach seemed to be in the clear of it completely.

We stayed down the bottom it was just near the pool😜 depends what your after 😎it's just great to stay somewhere with a pool as the beaches up that end are not for swimming. The only swim spot is at the other end of the island😜
