Dirty, room reserved for two and was equipped with 1 hand towel, 1 small bath towel, no face cloth, 1 motel size bar soap, 1 roll toilet paper. TV not working properly. air conditioner not working properly. Paid $20.00 extra per night for xsmall poodle that is cleaner than room.

The staff was very friendly, helping with our needs while there. I had inquired if they had a shower chair (I am paraplegic) and they informed us that they did not, but then went shopping and purchased one for our visit (I aim quite sure that they spent more for it than our full bill). They helped with many other little things as well. Thank you Tulip Motel!

I had booked this Motel based on the reviews also. We stayed in Room #1, and it looked run down. Bugs around the air conditioner, and the bathroom was old and dingy. It was dirty all around the baseboards. We did not have the time to fuss with making other arrangements as we were there on business. We had left the motel for the afternoon after putting our belongings in the room, and using the washroom. Upon our return 6 hours later, I felt like someone had been in our room. (You know that feeling). We noticed earlier before we left that the door had a difficult time latching. Anyhow I used the washroom and found a tube of lipgloss on the floor beside the toilet. It was not mine and it was not there when we last used the bathroom! We checked through everything...nothing missing. I felt uneasy all night long though. Neighbours on one side would use our chair in front of our door and smoke. Needless to say that got sucked into the room through the air conditioner. Management was courteous when we approached her about the lipgloss, but of course nothing could be done. I can handle outdated but for us it was about the cleanliness and the safety, and it clearly missed the mark.

Wanted to stay for 3 hours in between shows at a local dog show. Was charged $90 (regular rate) but he threw in our dog “for free”. The room was disgusting, never warmed up (freezing), stains all over the bathroom and the walls. Owner said “no dogs on the furniture” as if I’d let my dog on something that is probably flea infested or full of bed bugs. Had a couple of other dogs and their owners come for a bit and we all sat on the floor on our dog beds with our dogs. When I left (the place was exactly as I found it), the owner flipped out on me, calling me a liar because I had more people and dogs than I said I would. Instead of being thankful for the business he told me to never come back. LOL as if I would! Rude, disgusting and ridiculously over priced.

The receptionist was nice. That's the only good thing about this place. When to owner drives his new Lexus over the many potholes in the drive, you know the revenue is not going into keeping the place up. This was a last-minute stay because we needed a pet friendly motel. The room was cleanish. The floor of the washroom was sticky. The bathroom tiles were not clean. The outlets for personal use electrical were well hidden under the bed. The other spot was close to the ceiling. The TV had no remote so adjusting sound was not available.
The bed was terrible. I love my wife but did not want to sleep that closely together. The bed gave us no choice. The cover was old, this, and frayed at the edges. No duvet or bedspread. There was one old and thin towel in the bathroom. No tub, just a shower. The toilet was unstable and rocked when you sat down, The electrical fixture for hard dryers was 7 feet off the ground, and did not work.
This place may work as a hot pillow motel, but as a place to stay, it was a disgrace.

We booked this motel based on their website and Tripadvisor reviews - we were misled.
We were give room #16 and from the approach to the room we became concerned. Opening the door I realized this was NOT of the same quality and cleanliness we saw on their website. It was a tiny room with an air conditioner barely hanging onto a broken window, obvious saggy mattress, dead housefly on the bedspread, none of the pleasant amenities shown on the Tulip website and an overwhelming smell of air freshener. We immediately went back to the front desk to cancel our booking -we did NOT stay at this motel.
My previous review was removed from Tripadvisor so I have re-written this as a caution to others. If you choose to stay here please look at the room in person before you commit.

We were here for 2 days. Upon arrival, the lady behind the desk was nice enough to offer to show a few rooms they had available. There was NO EXTRA CHARGE regardless of what room we decide to take!!! We loved it. I took Room 1, although all the rooms were nice and clean, but that room was just great. She also took the time to tell us more about places we could visit in town and even gave us a $10 voucher for Casino which me and my wife planned on visiting anyway. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep. On my way out, I grabbed a free coffee. Overall, a splendid experience. Definitely a Great value for the price of the room!!!!

I had an unexpected stay in early May. The room was newly decorated and refurbished including new mattress which was very comfortable - Lots of free parking. The location is very convenient to the area, restaurants and attractions. The owner/staff very friendly. I would recommend this location for anyone looking for comfort at a very reasonable price. The motel is rated a 2 star and although I didn't see other rooms if they are all done to the standards of the one I had it will not be a 2 star property for long.

The place met my needs.
The owner is very pleasant.
It's not a 5 Star Hotel, in the sense that it offers all the 5 Star Hotel ammenitties, but I have no complaints other than coffee would be super in the morning. 😋♥️
