Quality Resort Parkhurst is celebrated for its excellent value, with guests often finding the pricing reasonable for both accommodations and meals, though a few note meal prices can be on the higher side. The tranquil location near town is appreciated, yet some guests suggest the addition of a courtesy bus. Great place to stay. The room was modern and immaculate. Excellent beds. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Restaurant looked great and was busy but we did not visit on this stay. It has a great shopping complex a minute down the road. All the staff we interacted with were attentive and friendly.

Korte’s Resort accommodated our family group with beautiful rooms side by side to suit our needs. Large beautifully presented rooms with all our needs met in a quiet location, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend Korte’s Resort and hope to book again when able to utilise all of the facilities available post covid.

We recently stayed at Korte’s Resort on a roadtrip north and then south again. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the place. We had queen rooms for both stays and one of them had a kitchenette which was unexpected (apparently these are a new addition). There is parking outside the units but also a large carpark where you could park larger vehicles. We had a small truck with us so this was perfect and the carpark has security cameras too.
Both nights we stayed we dined in the restaurant and they were able to cater for gluten free vegetarian needs and the food delicous.
All round friendly service and a good place to stay.

We stopped at Korte's Resort for a night on our way to Airlie Beach. It was a bit hard to find the access off the highway because of all the road works (certainly not their fault), but seemed a very pleasant place once we'd arrived.
I'll start with the pros:
Lovely pool.
Very nice restaurant.
Very nice surroundings, including kangaroos in the grassed area at the back of the hotel.
Nice modern room.
Comfortable bed.
So really, pretty good for an overnight stay.
Cons:
It's one of the most expensive places to stay In Rockhampton.
No toaster. I know, they don't seem to be supplied in hotel rooms for obvious reasons these days. Just haven't stayed in hotels for nearly 10 years.
A bar fridge with no freezer section. I didn't know that you could actually buy one without a freezer, but there you are. Thought it would at least be needed to store ice cubes for drinks etc. Was especially important to us because we carry perishables for picnics along the way and needed to refreeze the freezer blocks. We tried to turn the temperature setting down to coldest, but it just kept turning around and around, as if people had tried that before.
The shower door in our unit didn't stay closed, so that a lot of water ended up on the floor (possible slip hazard).
We stayed on a Saturday night. It became apparent that there was a wedding party also staying, and that some of that party were booked into the unit next to us. When these people arrived back from the wedding around 1am, a man decided it was a good time to hold a long, loud conversation on the patio next to our bathroom window. I didn't know what to do. It was the first day of our holiday, and my birthday, and I didn't want to have a confrontation. I put in ear plugs and tried to sleep. A recommendation to the resort might be to maybe try to have all wedding parties accommodated in the one area, away from other guests, but I suppose that could make for a very noisy environment.
So would I stay at Korte's Resort again? It's doubtful. To be sure of getting a toaster, fridge with freezer etc, we would have had to stay in a unit there that had a kitchenette and they were even more expensive.
And that becomes a lot of money for an overnight stay.

This is our second stay at Kortes Resort and it really is a great place to be. The room we had (304) was VERY spacious with a king size bed and lots of extra space as well. The room was not highly perfumed which is great for me. The decor is modern and the room was fantastically appointed with plenty of power points in all the right places. The rooms are very well maintained and there was a comfortable lounge chair, beautiful curtains, great paint work, 2 kitchen chairs, a good sized bar fridge (with no freezer) , microwave and coffee pod machine. There was a back glass sliding door onto a private little porch and the whole location is VERY quiet. Kortes is situated about 8 km north of the town in close proximity to the Heritage Village, Mt Arthur and a little shopping centre. The restaurant meals were as delicious as last year with ample staff and great service. The pool area was clean and some children were enjoying a swim while I sat in a pool chair and thought about it :) . The ONLY problem I found was that there was only 2 mugs, 2 glasses and 2 teaspoons in the room. If you wanted to butter a breadroll or peal an apple - no knife; or make a sandwich - no plate etc, so you would need to bring your own. Having said that, they are so helpful in the office, I'm sure you could ask for those things. A great place to stay and highly recommend.

This is a beautiful, clean, quiet and friendly place to stay. The inviting pool and surrounding area was just what my family needed after a day travelling. The staff were wiping down the pool chairs and fencing while we were swimming which is great to see in this new environment. The beds are really comfortable too and the showers are clean and hot. The rooms are modern and there is a laundry facility in the complex with near new machines and dryers.

Korte's Resort is one of the few properties open and catering for families on the move during the COVID 19 lock down. Sadly we had to travel to Toowoomba from Cairns to see a sick parent and the staff could not be more accommodating with late arrival and early check out providing us excellent restaurant quality food on check in. Rooms are modern clean and inviting after a long day driving
If you need a break in travelling during these times please stay here you will not be disappointed

I was really impressed when staying here recently.

The room was a good size and the bed was amazing !
The restaurant food was really first class.
Even the parking bays at the front of the rooms were a good size (I drive an oversized 4WD). The laundry facilities were close to my room and free to use.
No coin operated laundry ! (Bonus)
Overall, the staff were fantastic and helpful and I really can't recommend any higher. I will be staying at Korte's every time I'm required to stay in Rockhampton for work.

Stayed here while driving to and from North Queensland. So impressed with the first night, we couldn’t wait until our return.
The rooms are clean, spacious and plenty of secure parking (we were towing a boat). Even though the resort is quite close to the road, the glass sliding doors must be extra thick double glazing because no sound came through at all and you would never know the road was there.
All the staff were amazing and I also noticed all covid regulations were strictly adhered to effortlessly.
All meals at the restaurant were delicious.

We travelled from Cairns to Rockhampton, my sister had pre-booked our stay at this beautiful place, situated in an excellent location, easy & safe to access from the highway, nice grounds & gardens and plenty of carparks.
We were welcomed by the Owner Bill and I must say that you & your front of house service is quality, your Staff are amazing at the Resort. I had the opportunity to speak with one of the female Cleaning staff member & the Groundman who were very helpful, thankyou to them.
Great Customer Service from your Restaurant Staff & Chef; my Daughter & I enjoyed a very satisfying, wholesome breakfast meal the next day,
We enjoyed the luxury of the air con rooms after the long trip; I slept like a baby in those big comfy beds; rooms very safe & secure; could park my car right outside the door; I was able to put together a quick dessert in the kitchenette & put in the fridge which was a bonus; outside noise was very limited & the Shopping Centre is not that far away.
Thanks Bill & Team, you hit the nail on the head when it comes to Quality, will highly recommend to our Family travelling south. See you next time.

Each room has undercover parking right out the front. The resorts guests parking can't be seen from the street so they are perfectly safe. Hope this has helped. Happy traveling.
