Just recently stayed here with my granddaughter’s hockey team. I can’t say enough about this hotel. Clean…great amenities and the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel (which is included in the price). Rooms were very comfortable and spacious! Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel, which has been open less than a year, was a pleasant surprise. We stayed here for a hockey tournament so the hotel was full of teenaged, and younger, boys. It was very quiet in the rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The boys loved the large screen TV in each room. I loved that they use shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers in the shower instead of the wasteful little plastic bottles. The breakfasts were good and there was plenty of food. Good parking and a restaurant on the other side of the parking lot. Only 2 elevators but we didn't have to wait long. Just a 6-floor hotel. Close the border, the arenas, and a casino. WIFI was good too.

I stayed at this hotel Feb 14, 2020 and was very impressed. Being a new hotel, yes everything was clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Their free breakfast was very well done. It included cereals, yogurts,juices, omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruits etc

Bright spacious lobby with an inviting breakfast area. Our room was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The breakfast selections were very good with some great extras such as hot chocolate, chocolate milk, French vanilla coffee creamer. Fresh danish and cinnamon rolls. The menu changes daily, with home fries baked beans, pork sausage and even peameal bacon,. Plus eggs omelettes bacon etc. The staff are wonderful and work so hard to ensure fresh full dishes and freshly brewed coffee.The reception staff are welcoming professional and engaging. Lisa Timmi and Jeremy we're excellent and made sure everything was perfect. They treated us like vips.nothing was too much trouble.they also took time to can't and share a laugh. The pool is lovely , warm and bright and clean. We enjoyed our visit so much that we have booked another week in September.

Rooms were more spacious than the other comparable hotels Spot Clean facility in general including the swimming pool and gym.
Breakfast was good with spacious, well lit area with flexibility for various size of groups. We were a group of 10.
Business area set up with computers and phone chargers is a great convenience.
Staff starting with the front desk, the manager in back room and the maintenance, were like a quick response team.
Hotel location is also a five star with easy access off highway, short drive to restaurants, public parks and water front and if you like, the Casino.
USA border is a stone throw distance - ok make that a Javelin throw !
Breakfast was good with spacious, well lit area with flexibility for various size of groups. We were a group of 10.

Hadn’t spent any real time in Sarnia in several years, so decided to cross the border and book a night at the HIE. Location is very good, right off of the Front St exit. It’s a long walk to downtown Sarnia, but certainly doable. Checked in around 1 to a room on the fifth floor, matching my request of a high floor. View is of Highway 402 and the immediate Point Edward area instead of downtown Sarnia or the Bridge, but that’s OK.
Room is very clean, including the bathroom. Heat worked very well, essential since it hovered around the freezing mark outside throughout the day and night. Thermometer can easily switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, accommodating both sides of the border. Didn’t watch a ton of TV but they seemed to have the basics covered. Sleep was restful, shower pressure was a bit weak but that’s typical in hotels.
Where this place shines is breakfast. It’s the typical HiE continental style, except the food is much more varied. Along with the standard cereal, sausage, and eggs, they also had a pastry, croissants, hash browns, and other treats you usually don’t find. The only thing missing was the cinnamon rolls (the pastries took their place.
Pool is standard hotel depth at 5 feet. Fairly warm, which is good due to the coldness outside. No hot tub.
Rate was around $100 US including taxes, which is very good. That will almost certainly be higher in summer when more tourism comes to the Blue Water region.

Great place to stay. Hotel is almost brand new and don’t have any of the old hotel issues. AC in the room works great and the mini fridge came in handy with kids and snacks/ lunch.
Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Although a touch pricey for a hotel, but the breakfast was a full breakfast and that does make up for quite a bit of money when you have kids.

Newly renovated Holiday Inn right by the US/Canada border in Sarnia. Its also very close to the casino which is just down the street. Room was large, clean and accommodating. Internet worked good and there was lots of food and drink available in the morning for a continental breakfast

This was a great visit to Sarnia due to this hotel. Good location and brand new. During Covid-19 they still offered a grab and go breakfast, The bed was very comfortable. The staff was excellent. Good parking and right off hwy 402.

Had to stay here as a last minute decision due to road closures preventing us from getting home after a medical procedure. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating and went out their way to get us checked in and comfortable for the night. The morning staff were also very friendly and helped us with the to go breakfast which was Ok for what they can do during covid. Room was a good size and clean. It had a fridge, microwave , coffee maker and there was a safe In The closet if ones needs that as well. I would stay here again.

Absolutely! We share a parking lot with a great restaurant called the B&B. Looking for something by the water? 2 restaurants by the water are less than a 15 minute walk away. Finally, if you are looking for your morning coffee, Tim Hortons is an 8 minute walk away! Thank you for your inquiry.
