A perfect city centre hotel - not far from the main station or other public transport options. It's a lovely 25 minute walk down to the promenade for great views over the lake. The hotel staff were kind enough to led us an adaptor when we realised ours was broken, and even gave us mugs of hot water when requested for tea/cup a soup. To note: the hotel rooms do not provide a kettle or tea-making facilities!

I stayed 3 nights over 2 separate stays The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Cornavin Station or a few minutes on the frequent number 8 bus (direction OMS, get off at Canonniere). Nations is about 5 minutes further on the same bus route. The hotel provides guests with a public transport ticket for Geneva.

I was in room 825 for my first stay - one of the smaller rooms, (but more than adequate size for one person). On my second stay, I was in room 127 a larger room, which with a double sofa bed could potentially accommodate up to four people). Both rooms were quiet with very comfortable beds. Cleanliness was outstanding. Lifts worked efficient.

Both rooms had a Swiss plug socket and a Euro plug socket. With four devices to charge, more Euro sockets are required. Rooms are relatively basic in terms of fittings, for example I would have appreciated a safe and more storage space. Wifi is very good.

The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of food choices. One comment, whilst tables were for two people, most had been pushed together to make tables for four people. The hotel attracts many sole travellers so it could be difficult to find a table as in many instances one person was occupying a table for four. It would be better if tables were laid out for two people. There is the option of occupying the high bar type seats but I prefer a table.

The cost of the hotel is over the top for an Ibis but Geneva is an expensive city and a convenient location obviously comes at a price.

Pro’s: the hotel is on the bus/tram line and Switzerland offers you a free travel pass for the busses and trams for hotel guests when you ask for it at the front desk. You will need it to get to old town and most restaurants. Descent bar, and a grocery store in walking distance.

Cons: it is about 10 min bus ride from old town Bern. No in room coffee, tea, or refrigerator. Staff seems to be confused on whether they offer complimentary coffee downstairs. Some say they do but when you go to get it you will be asked to pay for it. Funny on this issue of not having coffee or tea in room alone, we will never stay in another IBIS hotel. Two towels in you room period, no hand towels to wipe your hands on when you wash them. Shower is awkward as well, good water pressure but the shower head turns and twists on its own. Water goes everywhere.
Bonus: get the Swiss SBB mobile app to plan your excursions and to find the right tram or bus to get you back to the hotel. You can also book your tickets to Mont Blanc and beyond on the app, versus paying for a tour

I enjoyed the breakfast offer and the room itself. Breakfast has a good number of selection, which is something that the hotel can be proud of in a place like Geneva. Rooms are ergonomic and provides basic necessities. However, since I visited in spring, rooms can be a bit warm and they can’t offer an electric fan or air cooler. They also provide shower, shampoo, and facial wash in one inside the toilet, which makes this hotel green.

We stayed here in September and have used this hotel several times in the past as a stopover.

It is good value for Geneva, the rooms are well-maintained and ensure a good nights sleep, albeit that they are on the small side.

It is within 10 minutes walk of Cornavin Station and the main retail centre, although those less mobile might want to use a bus or a taxi for getting around to see the sights and the old town on the eastern side of the river.

I like the style of the hotel, the friendly staff, good breakfast and that it has always been very clean. There is also a nice outside seating area off the bar to the rear of the building and bar prices, including snacks and small meals, are reasonable.

I have booked on Booking.com and it was showing Free Cancellation, however when i have entered all the details it turns Non refundable, booking was cancelled same day of initiating it which is 35 days prior to arrival, although the hotel has charged us the full stay not even 1 night, keeping in mind that i have booked Free Cancellation. so my advise always be careful with booking.com they might direct you to non refundable easily. Moreover they did not consider the reason of cancellation as it was related to Covid 19.

Great location, reasonable price, comfortable bed, friendly staff, and nice restaurant would be the best way to summarize the hotel, and yes, I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is right on a bus route, number 8,
from hotel to the water front, 10 minutes of bus ride. If you walk around the block, you get more options for public transportations. Tourists get free public transportation passes, ask the front desk, and they will set it up for you.

The mattress may be thin, but it’s surprisingly comfortable and you can get a good night of sleep on it. The desk area is big enough to do work.

The room comes with two large bath towels, two bottles if body wash, and two cup. If you need things not on my list, bring or buy them. For example, if you like a bar of soap for shower, bring your own. If you like antibacterial soap, bring your own or buy. Bring your own wash cloth. Next time, I will bring all these items. 😀

The front desk team is very friendly, especially Manuel.

I've stayed at a few Ibis hotels now and this seems typical. It's clean, modern, fresh but basic. The room size is fairly small but large enough for two adults to be comfortable. After all you generally only sleep there. The bathroom is a reasonable size with a good size shower. A nice bonus with this hotel was the fact there were Swiss and European plug sockets.

The staff here were friendly and helpful.

The bar and breakfast areas are also modern and clean. However, the breakfast is quite limited. It's only a continental breakfast, but even baring that in mind I felt the choice wasn't great.

The hotel was very quiet, especially considering it's a city centre hotel. I barely heard any other guests and there was little if any road noise.

So all in all, it's a nice hotel. I had a pleasant stay and would stay here again.

I spent one night here on a family trip. The hotel is fairly centrally located, max 10 min walk from Lake Geneva. Wifi worked, and the room was clean, though fairly cramped and spartanly furnished. The reception sells a limited selection of beverages, which were fairly expensive. It is worthwhile, for the price alone.

This is a very decent mid range/cheapish hotel, especially for a short business trip.

The lobby area is immaculate and modern, with comfy seating, a nice bar, and little touches like a shoe shine machine, which are much appreciated. The staff are polite and friendly.

The rooms are standard Ibis fare - comfy, clean and modern. I appreciated the desk and small sofa, and the bed was comfortable. The shower was powerful and at a good temperature, and they provide shower gel and a hairdryer.

I ate once in the hotel restaurant and had a delicious goats cheese salad (see photo).

The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from Cornavin station, and a 10 minute bus ride from the UN area, so strongly located too.

I recommend eating in Les Grottes area, which is just down the road - lots of nice places.

A taxi from the airport will cost around CHF 40 depending on the amount of luggage which you have with you. You can get there free on public transport. Pick up a free ticket from the vending machine before you leave the baggage hall.
