these are condos not just rooms and they are awesome. Full kitchen, dining area, living room, 2 patios and walk right into water from the patio and through their canal system to the main pool and bar area. This is a pretty quiet place and although we did meet other people it was empty most of the time. Hot tub is a social spot if there is anyone in it. Great value for the money. Contact the hotel direct for a rate with breakfast and bikes included

I came here tired after long delayed flight, had problems checking in because I was delayed past 7 and the rep for condo unit had left ( and IF you are renting from owner the desk person is of no help) tried in vain to get into room 302S ( not realizing there was a plain 302 next door) but when I got into the elegant room everything brightened up! then after going down for a Drink and dinner at Passions ( actually at the Bar with Nestor) it got better and better..as I was finishing up I noticed the hot tub was starting to be put to use by other guests who were making full use of the " Clothing optional" ( really NO clothing option) the rest of the week all cares and concerns were shead as easly as clothing. wonderful relaxing stay and with only about 18 guests you knew everyone by name & where they were from within a day LOVED the privacy, the upscare elegance, how friendly the staff and other guests were ..was sad to leave! ( I looked at pictures others have posted and really have nothing to ad but they are real ! only negative is the restaurant is a little basic BUT they will go out of their way to make you happy ( one woman wanted a sprite so Oscar the manager went out to a store and bought her some!!)

Amazing long weekend spent here and we were sad to leave. Truly magical and relaxing, laid back in a tropical paradise. The food was amazing, delicious and plentiful. The chef went above and beyond with gluten free dishes and excellent presentation. No matter what the other reviews may say, we will be BACK. I found the vibe here so chilled out, the room was beautiful, clean, comfortable. The patio to have morning coffee on was like being in a tropical setting. The drinks made by Joel were some of the best we have ever had. Crafted not only with his mixology skills but cared about in a passionate way due to his knowledge and desire to engage many of your senses, olfactory, visual and gustatory with a drink!! He was amazing and taught us so much about mezcal’s, gins and other apothecary like properties of many beverages. Sarah was so wonderful and attentive also preparing drinks, serving food and with such a sweet personality and beautiful smile. Office staff Valentina and Betsy went out of their way to help us in anyway possible. We were lucky enough to talk with many nice people there also and some residents who stay for longer periods during the winter months. When I first met one of them she said “Welcome to your home away from home” and that’s exactly how I felt. If you want a laid back, clothing optional experience in a tropical paradise to entice your senses, food to please your palate and drinks to savor you found your tropical paradise. Thank you Club Intima.

Hola. ¡Muchas gracias! It was a real pleasure to have you with us and I personally enjoyed visiting with you. We love sharing our love and passion for good food, drink and friendship. Joel has said several times since you left, just how much he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with you. We have more great things planned and are looking forward to seeing you both again soon. Thanks, again. -- Brian

Avoid this sad place unless you want to get caught up in a pissing match among the owners. First thing to know, Intima and MukNuk are the SAME complex ( hard to tell online). The condos are individually owned and, as is common in Mexico, owners can rent through the complex or on their own. This grumpy old couple, who seem to makes the rules, are apparently furious that the owners who rent through sites like Booking.com are charging less. So they've instituted a short- sighted, ridiculous rule that will only further devalue their investment... they won't let the bar give you ice if you are staying in "certain rooms". ICE!?! SERIOUSLY? You also have to enter through a separate non-descript door. If you're buying food or drink at the bar expect slow service, outrageous prices, and the stink eye. The grounds are rooms are nice but the surrounding area is scary. Really too bad. I had high hopes, but fortunately there are other clothing optional resorts in Mexico that are much better. Just avoid this place all together.

Dear Cindy, It has been brought to my attention the service you received during your stay was not as pleasing as you expected. We always strive to provide the best service to our guests, but it appears that you stayed in a room that was not owned by Intima Resort and as such we were unable to provide guest services. Whether our guests book through Booking, Expedia or through our web page providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority. We hope that you will afford us the opportunity to regain your trust, and I hope you can forgive this inconvenience and not let it stop you from staying with us in the future. I look to welcome you at Intima Resort.

Unfortunately this place has firmly fell to the bottom of our 'go to' list. We first visited in 2017 and wrote a review here based upon that experience, our last visit in 2022 was polar opposite. We are looking for another place to go which inspired this review.

The rooms remain the same, great place to sleep, we love the swim up rooms. What really went south was the bar and kitchen. Whomever assumed the kitchen and bar concession really dropped the ball. Inconsistent food quality was a big surprise to us as it had been so good. The 'old' bar staff had been let go with the new idea of having a "mixologist". Effectively what that accomplished was you cannot get a 'regular' mixed drink anymore. No white Russian, no Jack and Coke, just fashionable cocktails that used local ingredients. This new idea was not only embarrassingly pretentious, but the cocktails were not good either. To top it all off, the bar was seldom open. We ended up buying our booze and mixes so we could enjoy cocktails throughout the day.

There are more places to drink and eat within walking distance, but that's not what we loved about this place. We've had some great times there, met great people, but the 'new way' is not for us and unfortunately we wont be back.

My wife and I had a most chill and romantic getaway last week. We could not have been happier with the way our bartender Joel, our cook Joelle, and our breakfast server Maria took care of us. The sweetest ladies kept our room fresh and spotless the entire stay, and the vibe of our fellow guests and staff has left us missing both, as we reminisce warmly from home. Thanks all for a fantastic visit!

We are scheduled to stay here next month and just received an email from Intima, stating that they no longer have a working bar or restaurant. After researching many properties, we booked Intima based on not having to leave the compound for food or drinks and being able to settle in and relax around the pool. A true relaxing vacation.

We reached out to the resort asking for a refund or at least a discount and 96 hrs later have yet to receive a reply. We understand staffing issues, but advertising a service and not delivering that service is unprofessional and misleading.

The lady at the check-in was wonderful and accommodating. Super easy process and was walked to my room. My room was super spacious and high quality. I had a large sliding glass door that led to a small patio where you step right off into the pool through a little channel. I was about 20 steps from the outdoor dry/wet bar. Only, I probably would never use the wet part because the water was freezing. It was great to cool off in the heat of the day though. Overall, the premises are small and cramped so you can't really explore. But I am super happy with my stay.

With the residents who live there, it felt like a family. Everyone is so welcoming and fun to be around. The staff from reception desk to bartender were amazing! My room was immaculate with a patio and a swim up pool right outside my door. I spent the day laying by the pool eavesdropping on the many conversations floating about. The water is a little cold, but perfect on a hot day. I travelled alone this time and felt very welcomed. The price is so very reasonable for what you get. I'll definitely stay longer next time. I spent a few nights on Tulum beach regret not being able to sleep with all the partying. This place was the perfect balance of fun and restfulness.

Relatively quite and peaceful resort with great staff and great food. The bartender Nestor was very helpful and friendly. We stayed here a week and ventured out once for dinner at a restaurant that was rated well but disappointing. Best relaxing vacation we have ever had. Rooms are nice and spacious and the private rooftop pools offer a nice view. The atmosphere was almost always calm and peaceful. We are definitely going back.
