St Stephano Hotel remember this name, if you want to stay in the best hotel situated in the region between Jounieh and Tripoli St Stephano should be your number one choice. I am so glad that i went there with my wife. We felt so special from the day one we cheked in till the last day. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, the staff was so welcoming ,nice, and professional. The room on the fifth floor was so lovely, with a wonderful view on the pool and the sea. It comes with a jaccuzi,,a comfortable large bed, a bathroom with shower very clean, a mini kitchen with a microwave, a boiler machine, and a medium refrigirator. The hotel is situated in the center of what i call “ my happy place" where all the pubs, restaurants and coffee shops are located few steps away, like Pierre Y Amigos ( mexican) , Zaatar w Zeit, Starbucks, Taiga, Limon, Stephano Cafe, Dunkin Donuts. The hotel has it's own seafood restaurant Del Mar excellent. You can go and watch the sunset to Bolero and Titans two great pubs, or you can go further to Bahssa where you can find beautiful restaurants like Le Marin and Al mandaloun
Overall i had the best stay in Batroun!!! and definitely will go back. I recommend St Stephano Hotel for every person who wants to discover the real city of Batroun with its craziness and loveliness.

Great stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C, electricity and internet were always available with no interruption. The staff inside and out were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. The restaurant on the premises is great and should try it.

There is not one thing I can complain about. Location is great, Private beach, beautiful swimming pool. The suite was spacious, clean and up to date. Front desk was very helpful and prompt to any request. The restaurant on the premises was excellent; great Lebanese food and sea food. The resort is a walking distance from the heart of Batroun. We had excess to all kinds of restaurants, coffee places, night life, shopping. I will definitely go back.

The “resort” but I am not sure why they call it Resort and they don’t even accept a credit card.
I booked from united states to stay at the “resort” as they call it and when i got in there to check-in they told me that i have to pay mal all stay with cash Dollar. And That made me not having the enough cash to cover for my living expenses. And after I showed them that they accept Visa, mastercard they got mad and told me this is the hotel policy. What a shame to treat the tourists in that way!

We were staying at another resort in Batroun, not at the beach, more on a hill.

It was soooo bad such as the rooms, the hotel manager, the reception, and the cleanness. We even got a rash because of the unclean room.

So we searched for another hotel in the area and moved to San Stephano.

It was a great surprise for us. We loved it and it was a very good experience there. The rooms are clear, the staffs were good.
We should have booked here in the first place.

I was so amazed by the wonderful staff and the the beautiful resort. I was skeptical on my trip to Lebanon for the overall reputation it has. Hovever my stay for 2 weeks at this resort was honestly the best choice I made. The staff was friendly, room service took a few minutes to respond. Had fresh clean towels minutes after a request. The pool are was clean, the beach was paradise. By far, the nicest place a family can go for a luxurious trip to Lebanon. San Stephano resort was the highlight of our trip. The ladies at the desk gave my daughters friendly advice on where to visit and eat and what to wear. I cannot stress enough how we were so impressed by everything. For those looking for location, this is the spot. We had coffee shops including Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks steps away from our hotel. Endless choices of restaurants and cafes. Hair salon was a 5 minute walk. At times, I felt I was at a beach town in California. I highly recommend and believe me it dissent disappoint. The lobby, the remodeled rooms, the security the restaurant the pool the beach were all wonderful. It felt extremely safe with top notch security at the entrance. A security officer at each building. That alone was tremendously appreciated. Tripoli Beirut are all 30-45 minutes away. It’s closely centered to everything.

My husband and I spent there about 20 nights. Rooms were renovated and clean. We were staying at the last floor so the view was amazing.
Staff are super friendly and they can speak English.
Around it there’s many nice restaurants, almost everything is walking distance from the hotel.
For sure will go back and it’s highly recommended

Worst Resort Hotel you can imagine. When I knew the price of this place, I thought this is certainly very good because it is very expensive. So I visited the place to make sure everything is good and to reserve. I was a bit disappointed because the lobby had an unused bar that was transformed to a place where they put all the stuff they don't need, in plane site of the visitors. Like old ironing boards, empty cases, bottles of water, old refrigerators, etc.
We asked to visit the place, the room looked not bad, so we booked it.
1st surprise is that they want the whole amount when you book and there's no refund if you have to change your mind. No problem, we paid the whole week.
Now, we came to the hotel to begin our vacation. Many small annoying things we couldn't notice when we visited, were not working or were not present. The AC remote controls, the TV, The fridge was leaking water, the sheets were not sufficient to 4 people, etc... We informed them about these problems, some were fixed right away and some took more time. And then, the AC in the room stopped working. They tried to fix it like 3 times without success. On top of all that, the room was very noisy because it is on the side of the street and people like to blow their horns in the middle of the night. Also, we started to sense that the staff, whom only 2 persons were friendly and the other were not friendly at all, started to make us feel that they are bothered by our requests, although it was not our fault that the place was falling apart.
Anyways, we asked them to change the room, they said that they can't do it unless we pay more money to put us in a similar type of room, but with a Jacuzzi. We insisted many times without any luck. Here, the staff, all of them, were not friendly at all. After a horrible night in the room, we've had it, so I went once again to the reception and demanded that they change the room immediately without any extra money and that it was not our fault and they should correct it. At last, they accepted.

The whole experience was very very bad. I didn't mention also that our little kid got the Salmonella virus from their restaurant.

Whatever they promise you and whatever you hear, Stay away from this resort. It is advertised as a 5 stars, I don't even give it a star.

Myself and my girlfriend decided at the last minute to spend a weekend in Batroun over what was meant to be a very busy time. I say this as it is possible that our last minute booking resulted in a rushed cleaning of the room, but even so, what we found on our arrival was not acceptable at all.

Basically, after arriving at what looked like a slightly run down but well situated hotel, we went up to the room to change quickly for the beach and pool (we took a standard double room). When opening the drawers next to the bed we were greeted with a drawer FULL of DIRTY TISSUES!!!! The hotel upgraded us, although we only stayed at the hotel as we could not find accommodation elsewhere. In addition, they served coffee without sugar and took half a day to send someone to fix a broken TV.

Really disgusting. Still makes me ill to think about. If you can, avoid this place. Other than being situated in the heart of Batroun, it has nothing going for it (pool full of screaming kids, beach small and cramped, kind of smells like bug spray etc.)

The San Stephano has not met our expectations at all. Instead of a relaxing weekend (which we paid for) we found an unfriendly reception, a noisy room (the music from pool and disco was on from 2 pm till 3 am and sleeping was only possible after several araks and with ear protection!) and also the breakfast is not worth to mention. The hotel advertises itself as a high-class hotel but in our opinion it's a low to medium-class hotel which urges a refit and is terribly overpriced during high season. However the only positive point is the hotel-beach which is quite nice, but there are many better beaches in the region of Batroun.

This is a Summer beach resort, basically there's not much to do in winter! Feel free to check their website we took a regular room right above the pool and it was big enough to fit 2 adults and 2 kids.
