The hostel is localized in the center of Madrid,so it is convenient to get to the different places to visit. The room was nice also clean, the only concern was about the bed that was too small to be a double room. The staff was available even if we have met them only during the check-in.

The area around is very nice, the places to eat, la gran via is at walking distance. I loved staying because of those aspects around the property. Also, the lift (elevator) was a plus to take bags and my daughter's stroller. I loved that the coffee shop downstairs was 24 hours open, wow, that was a super plus. You can eat what you like at any time, sit outside, enjoy, that is excellent.

I just didn't like how the AC in my room didn't work in the hot/humid nights. I did ask the person but still there was no change or fixing the AC. It dripped water at night time, it got so bad that I had to turn it off and open the windows for fresh air and to sleep. It was just crazy! It didn't work properly, meaning, didn't cool, or stop and start like a normal AC. I wish that had a better maintenance aspect than just having to change some settings that didn't make any difference. I hope no one gets that room, or I hope the other rooms don't have the same problem.

You get what you pay for. This is a budget hostel and does the job for a bed to sleep in and roof over your head. Clean room, comfy bed, fan in room. Very basic and overall shabby. Shower in room. Shared toilet. Lady who runs it friendly though does not speak English. Near enough to metro and walking distance to many attractions. Would stay here again if needed a cheap place.

We were booked to stay here in May, I appreciate the rapidly changing Covid situation is challenging however the hotel cancelled our booking with no communication and no offer of a refund. When I wrote to them to request a refund or reschedule they said that the bank was closed and they would write to me laterz I have followed up 5 times with no response. Terrible service and taking money from travellers when the hotel cancelled the booking and offering no compensation.

Staff is not speaking English. We booked 2 double rooms and one single (over booking) and got only 2 half-double rooms (120cm bed with no toilet/shower). Rooms were super small and needed some more cleaning/repainting. Wouldn’t go here again.

We were so disppointed by this hostel even we have only stayed one night here. Firstly, the hosts did not know any english. Luckily we knew limited Spanish, but it wasn't the nightmare yet. Second problem, there was almost no space for placing ur things, not a single space, we could only put our things on the floor like the bags did. During shower, we discovered that the floor drain is terribly stuck by dusts and rubbish and the water could hardly flow away from there. As a result, the water flowed out to the room and wetted the floor and our bags! Beds were not clean, there were noticeable dusts on the pillow. Worst hostel we have stayed in. Do not stay here.

Stayed here for a few days with my boyfriend and we thought it was brilliant! We got a double room with a private bathroom and it was exactly like the pictures!
It was clean, quiet and stylish and it's right beside the metro line which was fantastic! For a hostel, it was perfect!
The only bad point we had was the woman who worked there didn't speak a word of English but we got by!
Overall, great place to stay if you want something cheap and cheerful!

Dirty room, including dirty pillow case that had clearly not been changed from the previous guests, and filthy shower. Toilet paper, which lay on a stool because there was no toilet roll holder, had brown marking on a wad of the paper edges. Etc. One plus is the location. However, I would choose a different accommodation in the same area.

- staff did´nt speak or understand english so it was hard to communicate
+ location is fine, just few steps from nice caferia that offers breakfest
+ next to Noviciado metro station: easy to go to city, if you don´t want to walk
- mud and dirt everywhere
- lousy and hard mattress with plastic cover on it; made me sweat hole night even when it was a cold night
- dirty pillowcases, sheets and blankets
- someone should clean up everything!

Que parking cercano recomendáis para dejar el coche? Que no sea muy caro....
Answer from Raúl P
Granada, Spain77 contributions38 helpful votes
Buenos días, yo me he hospedado bastantes veces allí, sin embargo siempre he ido en AVE.
