Jose was willing to tell us good places to eat as well as places to stay away from. Many choices close by.
Rooms cleaned every day and the neighborhood a little bit crazy, but very safe.
Good place for the price.
I would recommend it.
The hostel is old, but still relatively clean. It was quiet from outside noise, but the internal walls were thin and we could hear other guests at night.
There was a safe in the room, but it cost €1 every time it was opened. We were also charged for our first night’s stay in our home currency without our permission, at a 5% premium over standard exchange rates. This practice is illegal and something to watch out for if your home currency is anything other than Euros.
Jose was friendly and helpful.
"Bring earplugs! Don’t bother booking airport transfers or taxis if you only have carry-on - the metro is easy & close enough to walk to."Read full review
"We had room with private bathroom facing plaza. Cheaper rooms with shared bathroom may not have a view, so ask if this is important."Read full review
"I was in room 12. It's on the end and only shares one common wall. It was quiet."Read full review
